Had the lobster roll w/ fries and it was DELICIOUS! Scott had steak w/ Bernaise (spelling? ) sauce and baked potato...He loved it! Service was great, as well.
Old fort worth institution, but service is slow, building is old and smelly, I recieved a glass of water with something black and gelatinous floating in it, and food is just ok. Never been impressed, but you'll find lots of older Fort Worthians dining here every day, a who's who.
My favorite restaurant in Fort Worth. Amazing food with good portions. Great drinks and reasonable prices.
Good spot to brunch on Sundays! The bloody mary's we're strong and they had a nice selection of beer on tap
The food was pretty good and the company was even better
The shrimp cocktail was amazing! My roasted veggies were served on a dinner plate and included zucchini, mushroom, mini ear of corn on the cob, tomatoes & potatoes. Delicious!
Love this place.
Atmosphere is cool, kind of has an old pub vibe.
Food is consistently good.
Wait staff is always a pleasure and prompt.
Brunch kicked a goal. The service was outstanding and the food was equally satisfying. The bloody mary wasn't quite my style; it wasn't spicy enough and the celery was a bit overwhelming. However, opinions on bloody Mary drinks vary greatly. YMMV. Let's get to what counts here, the food. I indulged in cheese grits and the crab Benedict. I love love Benedict eggs and these guys delivered. It wasn't as good as my benchmark, The Buena Vista in San Francisco, but nonetheless absolutely worth getting. Do yourself a favor and get the cheese grits as well. The service was right on the chili; it wasn't overwhelming and they were available right when we needed them. The tables are spaced apart comfortable and they don't cram you in like sardines...bless their souls! We made reservations and were seated promptly.
I took mom for lunch. We haven't been in a while. We both thought it was way over priced. Food was ok but not $60 for 2 people for lunch. We just had tea
A bit pricey, but the food and service were good. Steak, seafood, good variety on menu. Full bar, good selection of beer and wine. I'll go again.
Good spot for breakfast. Dutch baby pancakes were delicious and country ham was great! Good service, hot coffee, nice atmosphere.
