Nice and large lovely cultural place, close the city center

The LU tower is ranked on the Nantes tourism site in the top 10 visits to be made.
Having lived in Nantes for some time, I decided to give it a try.
To even charge 2 euros for such a bad view and a video which plays in loop at the foot of the stairs ... it's a shame and a real "tourist trap". Do not fall into the trap out of pity ... Le Lieu Unique and its bar YES, the visit of the Lu tower NO!
The Nid de la Tour de Bretagne offers the most beautiful view of Nantes to me, as well as the view of the Butte Ste Anne.

Extra place, bar restaurant bookstore concert hall ... in short a complete place ..

If this old cookie, worth the detour for its architecture, the reception at the restaurant counter is shabby .... Only place that disappointed me this weekend in Nantes.

A very lively place all year round! You can spend a whole day there, for events, its setting, its architecture, and everything that makes this place a place not to be missed when visiting Nantes!

Very good lunch in a really pleasant setting. Lunch formula very affordable. The rest is honestly honest for this address.

Place of culture must in Nantes! Directly in the city center, easily accessible by tram. Whether to eat in the restaurant or take a drink on the terrace in the sun. Place of museum and music. Very nice concerts and exhibitions throughout the year.

As the name suggests .... unique place. Nice, with nooks and crannies ... bar side, restaurant side, rooms, exhibitions, track ..... in short, to visit!

Not worth your time at all. Go have a nice meal instead.

Very nice atmosphere and typical Nantes. Bar looking like a warehouse, a raw, industrial and creative decor.
For beers it would be nice to have something other than big brands, eg local beers and craft or more atypical (ipa, Kriek ...)

Always a pleasure to come to LU. In any weather and whatever the season, you can go for a drink, see concerts expos etc ... The bookstore is great, so nugget! A big favorite in Nantes. It's to do!

Great very artistic place, the ideal place to dream and get out of reality

Perfect to come have a drink and listen to any kind of music (electro to classical ...) the place is superb.

We were 13, it was our friend's 30th birthday and we hadn't booked ... we love improvisation (or not)! In the end, the unique place welcomed us at 10pm, a little surprised but with a smile and we ate well and had a very good evening.

Take the time to ask yourself ... nice staff and very smiling and professional staff.

Pleasant single place, decent drinks and not (too) expensive, on the other hand bad point for the staff of the bar which seriously lacks professionalism, pity ...

That Flag that has been up recently really made me feel unsafe and unwelcome

Unique place that bears his name: meeting place, exchange for a coffee or a meal (enjoying the long chairs along the Erdre in the summer). A program of rich shows and conferences and a bookstore to explore. A few steps from the Castle and the busway.

Except a glass on the terrace to enjoy the setting I do not recommend the restaurant outright! I asked for lamb chops: Can not eat them (you can not even cut a bite) and the worst is that I had food poisoning, thankfully it did not caused only a simple 2-day diarrhea !!
On the other hand very nice waitress.

When I got in I didn't know it was the original LU factory, but you can clearly still see the old tiles and a few more details. I've to say I wouldn't have make a detour to visit it, but I'm glad I just ran into it.

I went to the club that is supposed to run until 3am. By 2:30am, they turn on the lights. Gin tonic are very light, served in plastic cups. Not much atmosphere with the large space all around
