I've dealt with a few Debt Collection companies on behalf of many and for myself as well and it's always nerve wracking, but I can hand on my heart say this is the best Company I've ever dealt with for debt collection that genuinely takes your circumstances into consideration, they talk to you like a human and they will assist you in any way they can.

They understand that bad things happen and sometimes you can't or are struggling to pay, I'd never thought I'd be writing a positive review about a collection company.

Absolutely fantastic service no pressure on you they listen and understand your circumstances I usually bury my head in the sand with debt collection companies but these are a different breed 100%

They sorted out my request straight away to ammend my credit file.

I was so nervous phoning Lowell but I hate debts and want to be debt free. I spoke to a lovely guy Victor I think he was called ,he was so helpful and friendly and professional .he was also so patient has I have breathing difficulty due to angina .it was like he knew what I was going through and really put my mined at ease and he set up a plan to pay this debt back which is a huge weight off my shoulders thankyou so much for clearing things up for me .

This company was very understanding of my circumstances. Reducing payments when i couldnt afford to pay. Missed a payment once and they were helpful then also. Wouldnt take more than i could afford to give and made sure priority debts were paid before themselves. Staff friendly. Thank you

Zero sympathy and terrible service what so ever!
I've been a victim of identity fraud, so sever that it is even a case with the police.
To straighten things out I called the company, I got one agent who was heavily breathing on the phone and I couldn't even understand, long story short he gave me two weeks to pay not understanding the situation i am in. I called back today and I got one female agent who did not even let me speak and refused to listen until i actually had to shout at her to make her listen. As a goodwill they extended the payment of the debt for 30 days, not understanding that the debt is not something that I have to do with, but something someone else took under my name without my knowing. It does not even make sense that i occurred a debt when in the particular year that is mentioned i was not even in the UK! Very frustrating as Lowel is not being of any help but just want to get the money

This company helped me a great deal. They never forced or try to get more than i could afford. They made things a lot easier for me.

I have never written a review in my entire life. But i need to let people know about this. This is in accordance to Statista. Please avoid Statista, Conrad & Lowell or affiliated companies at all cost.

I was in an urgent to produce document and i enquired multiple times regarding failure of logging in and help on finding the data I needed. They failed to do so and i ended up using nothing from their website and just googled everything myself.

It was silent for awhile. And i was cool because i didn't pay upfront due their trial scheme subscription initially. But after awhile, they started asking me to pay and i was unhappy. I told them that they weren't there to support when i needed and i couldn't get any promised "useful" data. So I told them i didn't like their service and i didn't use their data and service at all so i'm not doing the full year subscription.

They engaged Conrad & Lowell to harass me to pay with phone calls and lawyer scare letter reasoning rudely that i have used their "data" and it's after trial. I told them straight upfront to get their management to talk to me but they kept refusing.

Many people are facing similar problems. Please google statista, conrad or lowell scam before falling into the same trap! AVOID AT ALL COST.

I made a police report against them.

Nice try but you won't get my money. Don't contact me again.

These jokers are trying to get money off my partner for an astute barred debt that is approximately 10 years old. The best of it is they know where he lives, but for some strange reason they keep sending threatening letters to his parents who live 300 miles away. They have actually given his parents a bad credit rating on theur home. They are a bunch of scamming cowboys,don't pay them a penny people, you owe them nothing. If they want to pay your debtors off for you, then it's their tough luck not yours. Whatever you do don't sign anything or agree verbally to anything. Also, i would love to know how much the people who five starred them got paid for doing so

S**t company to deal with, nothing but hassle from them. Found out they used my card details for an account that doesn't even belong to me, demanded compo from them, still waiting for the compo nearly 2 years on

The call centre team were friendly and helpful but after speaking to the solicitors I have come to the conclusion this firm is a joke. Despite having had a direct debit set up with this outfit for almost a year some idiot decided to take me to county court.
In reality this firm has not enough time to sort things out so just want to mess up your life!

If you've posted on here with the generic Lowell are Bullies then chances are you're a lowlife and probably a professional debtor (thief) . All you had to do was resolve and pay an account while it was still open most creditors only sell accounts on when they have exhausted all efforts for you to pay including piling on interest. Lowell add on zero interest and you can pay what you like in an arrangement until its paid off . Just pay what you owe and you wont have any problems they will also dispute and query anything you are unsure of

They are very helpful your under no pressure to pay more than you can afford and exceptionally understanding would definitely call them if your in any financial difficulty

Worst company on the f***ing planet don't ever get tangled up in their stupid schemes. Ignorant on the phone. Websites awful and hardly works. Never go through them and try to avoid them as much as possible.

I had accounts with lowell and then i received a CCJ court order for a telephone bill up to 1000pds i quereied this with the company and they did not respond to me for years only to be slapped with a court order. I called the solicitors at that time to reverse the order as i already had an account which i was paying with them and the man i spike to said to me there is nothing he could do. I cannot get a mortgage due to the ccj nor can i borrow money. This will be on my record for a good 6yrs. How am going to build myself up is really gokng to be an issue for me. I feel cheated as i was willing to pay for the other debts and the least someone could have done was investigate rather than CCJ. Lucky for those that recieved a letter and calls i never did.

Called them after we kept getting messages for someone. The lady was so very lovely and removed the telephone number straight away and was exceptionally friendly.

I recently went online to set up a payment plan for my debts with Lowell.
It was really simple. I did a budget calculator, then was able to clearly see the amount and company my debts were with. I then selected the payment plan option for each and had the plans set up within minutes.

Lowell are extremely easy to deal with online. I have had no problems with this company whatsoever. They are very caring and so polite.

Called today , spoke with an agent who was very polite and helpful , very satisfied with the payments we agreed on such a relief

Stop contacting me asking for a Dr Richard A Salam. I am not a f**kin doctor or practice in any kind of medicine. I have told you a number of times to remove my number from your accounts. If you persist, I will come down to your headquarters and burn the f**kin place down!!!!!!!!!!

I feel that Lowell as a whole are a great team however during this Pandemic for some reason it is proving really hard for me to open a account to pay it in full as circumstances are different... i don't at all blame lowell just whom ever it is that is opening accounts.. it is really frustrating and in turn impacts on the Mental Health of myself... i suffer massively with anxiety and this in turn is not helping me at all... i just want the issues resolved and sorted.

Unless company do not answer phone bot helpful in resolving issues

Excellent service. I was worried and upset but they resolve things for you there and then and ease your mind with patience and respect. Great service. Very helpful and efficient.very nice people.

Terrible, they chase debts from donkeys years ago with pathetic dirty tactics, masquerading themselves as being 'helpful to your needs' and even when your payment plan is accepted still harassing with letters about how to set a DD to make it easier for them, well give it to them slow and steady, don't ever go out your way to make it easy for them. Don't get in debt they say but when you're in a predicament where you're being treated unfairly by the client why should you pay them.

This company has helped me pay off my debts in an easy and manageable way in my own time. I am so grateful for the breathing space

Hassle free debt management!!! The advisors are extremely polite and put you at ease. They understand your situation and are able you help to resolve any debt problems you may have. Lowell treat you like a person, they understand that just because you owe money you are not a criminal. They are sympathetic, empathetic, understanding and real. Advice for people leaving 1* reviews pick up the phone and talk to the people at Lowell you ll be surprised. I did and I am almost debt free. . How you say? Well they purchased my debt off the original creditor at 10% of what I originally owed. There by clearing any debt I had with the creditor. As I have no agreement or contract with Lowells that cannot then chase me for the money. Send them a letter to ask for proof of the debt to them by you.

You owe nothing and they will wipe off the debt - what a great company to pay peoples debts! :D

Very helpful..very professional..i got a 40% reduction..only took what i could afford..people in debt hate making these phonecalls and try to avoid at all cost..i recommended you dont as i was made to feel very comfortable and it was sorted in one phonecall

Have been receiving calls asking for a Mr Darren Billimore on and off for years from this company. I have phoned up at least twice and told them that I am definitely not the person they want, and still I get these calls. Have spent hours of my life listening to their messages and trying to sort this out! This has one star because you have to click in the box in order to post it. I hope they read this!!!

I got a reasonable proposal to bring a debt to a conclusion.

Absolute shambles this company, firstly they have the complete wrong address for me, then I received an email confirmation stating the account was resolved, only to find out a day later they don't know what I'm talking about.
I wouldn't mind, but i still have an account with who they allegedly say I'm in debt with, and the account holder does not know what I'm talking about.
Perhaps lowell should investigate the facts before emailing people, rip off Britain at it's best.

The agent was very good at listening and setting out a more tangible plan with me. Showed great empathy and was quick to discuss a solution that worked well for me.

I received a charge on my credit card from this company and I've no dealings with them! Apparently someone in Malaysia has stolen my credit card information and used to to pay this company. I am in the US. I have sent several emails to this company to track down the culprit and return the funds. They have yet to respond. I will continue to contact them until they assist in identifying the thief and returning my monies.

Always been able to help me when I have called, also the website is so easy to use and allows you to lower or up payments. Most debt companies talk down to people and I have never experienced this with llowel, always happy to help when needed.

I have to admit for a debt recover company Lowell is fair and really helpful
as after all I do owe the debt and the make it very easy to repay it .

How funny can some of the morons who found Lowlife so helpful and kind wiping their debts. :-) Actually these morons are working for Lowlife and, obviously, what else could they say, innit? :-) Who on the earth can be happy with a bunch of vermin who buys a debt ( so already paid) for pennies and later to be harassed for weeks, month and years to pay them? They are criminals, but what's worse...is the Society who encourage these villains and nasty scum bags to commit acts forgeries, deceiving and harassment. No where in Europe someone can buy a debt and to start to harass people to pay them back...No Where Else, Only in UK. Dirty parasites!

Hello, my sister amber was.in a car accident which has left her in a coma as she wasn't healing right, and as for the accountz she didn't authorities that account to be made, she lost her bank card during that time as someone else made the account in her name, in my opinion, I feel that my sister dosent need to pay for the account as she didnt make it, untill she has recovered properly and the account has been removed Lowell solicitors will not be receiving any more payment from my sister. I will also be incharge of her bank account and have stopped all money transfers to you. Delete her contact information and leave her alone

I found this company pretty difficult to deal with. They ignored repeated requests and they did not appear to have a record of letters they had sent to me

You ask them for some proofs and they fail to deliver them but put together a copy and paste pointless email.

Can't fault this company one bit. They have always been easy to talk to. They make problems more understandable. They aren't pushy and they don't try to make you pay more that what you can afford. 5*

I phoned lowels knowing that I had debt that I had ignored for a while and spoke to them they were lovely understanding got it sorted set up a repayment plan, happy.

This company has fantastic customer service and dealt with my debt questions in a very fair way. They designed a plan for me that suits my personal needs. Very relieved.

Got a text to call them. They can't even be bothered to call me. It's got to be a scam cos I was discharged from a Stepchange plan 18 months ago. There is no way I am going to call them. You wanna speal to me, you call me.....

The telephone operator showed me compassion and listened to what I had to say.

I had 3 accounts, very easy to set up and manage. No hassle from Lowell, just the occasional email or message to keep you informed about your account. Made life and managing my finances easier.

Excellent company to deal with cannot rate the young lady I spoke to high enough.

Was spoken down to and not helped at all. There had been a mistake by British gas who have now confirmed that I owe them nothing, and when explaining this to Lowell, I was told told it didn't matter, I still owed them money? Instead of speaking to British gas amd confirming this I am expected to waste even more of my time chasing up this bogus debt which had already been resolved by British gas. Extremely unhappy with the service!

My partner has been chased by this company for nearly 2 years now for a phone contract he has never taken out, when we explained to them that his ex partner has taken things out in his name without his knowledge they didn t seem to care. We have sent them countless letters and emails and all they turn round and say is they are looking into it or there is nothing they can do! They sent out a form for my partner to fill in asking if he would like copy s of the evidence (even though we contacted the said phone companies and they have no knowledge of these contracts) so he said yes and also he sent a letter, followed up with a phone call allowing me authorisation to deal with the account. Many months later we still haven t had helpful information and they say I am not allowed to deal with the account as I don t have permission, so my partner sent another email allowing me but they have sent a reply back to me saying they still can t let me deal with it! How can this be fair, the customer service for this company is shocking!!! We aren t giving up the fight against them though!!!

Also we had the same thing happen but it was with an Avon account instead and we had the same hassle but it did get sorted after it was paid but they compensated my partner for the hassle!

Everyone gets scared dealing with their debts, lowell are friendly and listen to what you say you can afford and actually help! They dont set plans they or you dont think you can afford and the team are very friendly!! I've changed my payment plan 3 times in a year to lower and higher amounts it's never an issue and done with ease!

I spoke to someone called Jason and he was absolutely brilliant. It's often a dreaded phone call with these things but I must say with Lowell its pleasant. I'm really happy I can now see a light at the end of the tunnel and that I've had so much help and my situations have been understood. Lowell have been kind, informative, and a pleasure so far! Unfortunately I have dealt with many a debt company and Lowell have been brilliant. It s nice to be dealt with properly and not the usual scare tactics that debt collection companies employ. I have never received threatening letters, they have been extremely patient with me and have actually encouraged me to sort out my finances, for which I am now in a better place! No one likes paying back debts..but Lowell make it super easy!

Only and one company which really WANT help you and NOT ruin you. Application is very simple, minimum payments and few warning letters until they acting. They not charge you for missing payment and are very understanding about your situation.

The service they provided is the best and they are very professional and always ready to help.

Lowell is great, one of those companies that allows you to be fully in control. They don t hound you everyday which is amazing. You don t have to talk/call, you can manage your debt online putting you in control. They are genuinely there to help you not stress you.

From time to time my payments would fall late, Lowells really helped and didn't make a drama out of it, knowing that as long as I contacted them if I had a problem they would be willing to listen and be patient helped me no end, I didn't need to worry overmuch, They were always considerate and helpful. No BS.

I've had dealings with collection agencies before. Lowells will work with you so long as you keep them updated , great customer service and understanding .
