Not recommend. A year ago was think that Im just unlucky women when they put blond color on my hear and have of my hear was in hand assistant When I ask her what is going on, she just was beautifuly smiling After time I back there and changed color person. Today had reservation, for this reason changed my flight from Miami yearly, appointment went like a few months ago- the same but a new person of course and the same routines of coloration. But colorist said your appointment time to short I can't work with you, you need waiting hour because she had next costumer A person in front desk was mistaken when I booked and they just throw me out.For reasonable questions from me - is it l'm not costumer here ? Ok, short .-- bad stuff can't happened twice. This salon first was unprofessional, my hear was very damaged and second- very bad service, even they didn't said that.

Tenzin is the BEST colorist ever! not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, she is so talented. I will never see anyone else after my experience with her. Go to Mizu and ask for her, she is a miracle worker for all things hair!

been getting my hair cut and colored here for years and send all my modeis to Cutler so they can get an up to date cut and ... beautiful haircolor. Always on trend. HAPPY!

Fabulous experience every time I go here! Followed Moran from Bumble & Bumble years ago and so glad I did! Mizu creates a relaxing and engaging atmosphere where you feel very well taken care of by a team of colorists and hair doctors who are at the top of their game.

Moran is a miracle worker and magician who creates amazing color results. I've gotten more compliments on color thanks to her! And if you can't get in to see Moran then ask for Miguel. He too came from Bumble and also has the magic touch.

Mizu is the ONLY salon I will go to for my color in NYC. Guaranteed fabulous results every time. Thank you Moran and Mizu!

I have been seeing Gabby at Cutler for 8 years. She is literally the only colorist I trust. The salon is also great, full services and everyone is very accommodating to clients needs.

I had the misfortune of getting a haircut that was the complete opposite of what I asked for. I even showed him pictures. I wanted an aline and specifically asked the stylist NOT to cut it too short in the front and he ended up cutting it chin length. I'm giving the salon 2 stars because it was really clean and the staff was friendly, but the stylist was subpar. Definitely not the quality I expected for the price I paid.

I go to Mizu and she is amazing. Every time she does my hair it's perfect and is exactly what I want. She is always inviting and willing to try anything new if asked. Definitely get your hair done by her!

The experience I had Was great! Everyone is very cordial. My stylist did a consultation on my hair status. I came out with glossy hair my highlights were to die for. Even met the Master himself I am looking forward to my next hair color.

It was a Friday night, and of course Thelma has places to be, but she stayed late and tended to my hair (thanks to Jacquie for helping with the blow dry too)!

Thelma gave me the most gorgeous rose gold balayage. I was her canvas, and she rocked it! Trust me, I've been to boring and mediocre salons...and The Mizu Salon at Third is not one of them!

If you're getting color done, I strongly recommend Gaby. She's amazingly skilled, both technically and intuitively. She's been doing my color for a few years now and I get compliments all the time. I cant recommend her enough.

Amazing location and amazing colorist! When you come here, see Alexis! She is amazing and she is easygoing and easy to talk to. If they treat you well as a hair model imagine how you will be treated if you were also as a client. Everyone there was so nice and super friendly. You're going to see Luis's (the owner) puppy just roaming around the salon like there's no care in the world. A pocket of cuteness!

Keep a lookout for Alexis when she is official in a few months and I hope you get to have her as your colorist because she is talented and very passionate. Passionate people who love their jobs will do an amazing job and will make sure you are happy before you walk out that elevator. I love my hair!

I cant say enough great things about Mizu. Ask for Judy - incredible haircut. The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. I didnt want to leave!

Rick Buckler is an amazing stylist at Mizu NYC! I ve been going about every 5 weeks now for the past year and have never had a bad experience. All of the staff are very energetic and accommodating.

Lily Vargas is an amazing, amazing colorist!! She made my hair look bomb af. She took my hair, which was black with green midshaft to ends, to a beautiful Auburn red. She is a wizard. If you want your hair colored, see Lily!!

It was my first time at Mizu Louis Licari and I am pretty happy about this choice. I got my consultation and haircut with Hannah who was really friendly and helpful. She didn't promise any miracle, gave me some tips to take care of my stressed out hair and she did what I wanted. I will be back!

It was my first time at this salon. Staff are friendly and it did look clean. I m unhappy with the service because it wasn t done properly. I get keratin treatments every 3 to 5 months so I know the process very well. Debbie skipped whole last part where she has to wash my hair after she seals the product with a straightener and blow dry my hair so it s isn t sticky. I usually pay 300$ to get this done and they charged me 537$ so it s already way more when the phone girl told me it was 350$. Next time you charge someone top dollar at least make sure the job is done through and correctly. I will not be back.

My experience, 2020-07-08: I have baby fine & thinning hair I had long got clipped #2 with a couple inches on top at a barber. It was a workable approach - youthful but lacking in masculine warmth. Because COVID, I didn't get a cut for 4 months and started wondering what might be possible if I saw a top notch stylist. I did my research and found that Vaughn has styled an unbelievable number of famous people yet seemed (in online media) to carry himself as a human being like (most of!) the rest of us. So I made the appointment.

It was not cheap and I told him off the bat I couldn't afford to see him on a regular basis - but I absolutely got my money's worth. He gave me exactly what I had hoped for and I've had no problem styling it myself to look just as good as it did when I left, using a single paste product (his, but having used others I don't believe that's it; - it's the cut, plus me observing how he used the product). He told me the cut would last 6-8 weeks versus 3 for what I was doing before. And he introduced me to a stylist in the salon charging a lower rate. I will definitely try to find a way to return to Mizu, whether with Vaughn or colleagues. Best haircut of my life.

My hair turned out okay. She fixed the color of my hair. The service was outstanding. They gave me free food, drinks, treated me like a Korean princess. Wow. I had gotten my hair colored here 5 years ago and had a decent experience. So I came back to get my hair extensions done. I get them done every three months and always get the same similar color same length. We agreed on the price color and length. When I got there the hair way shorter than the length agree. I asked him to adjust the price and he refused. So I walked out of the Solon without my service. There was never any apology and I had to fight them to get my deposit back and finally recovers it a week later after calling several times. This is not the way to do business. And I wish I had saved my self the headache. I felt scammed.

I have been a client of Mizu's for almost a year now and my hair
has never looked or felt better. The cut and color is always fantastic, even
when it gets close to my next appointment, it still looks good.
I have 2 little kids and don't have time to "do" my hair. But with Mizu's
expertise, my hair always manages to look put together with little effort.

I had the BEST experience at mizu from the moment I walked into the salon. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Brittani did a fabulous reverse balayage, she listened to everything I said, and gave me a blonde perfect for my complexion. I couldn t be happier with it, and my Stylist was Zeena who also corrected my hair cut & gave me the best blow that lasted all week! They are truly masters, I can t wait to return xo

This has got to be one of the best salons in New York, and definitely the best one in the upper east side. I love the stylists and colorists, and they do such an amazing job.
