Love this place! We have rented from them many times, karoake machines mostly but now we have also rented a projector and a screen. Every time I have dealt with them, I have received added value. The owner Mike always throws in some little thing or works with us to accommodate our timing. They are very organized and have friendly staff and good pricing. Highly recommend!!

This business is a GEM. I needed speakers, microphones, and a sound board for my wedding. I was shocked by their affordable pricing. The sound system was top-notch. The employees were extremely helpful and so friendly! I was so impressed w/ everyone - i had to ask if they were all family and this is a family-run business. They told me "no, we are employees here. the owner treats us well and we love working here." I had called Guitar Center prior to calling them. Didn't get a call back. I am so glad it happened that way because Pro-Mix far exceeded all my expectations! EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER :)
As a Professional Mix DJ out of Atlanta, I travel quite a bit for weddings, etc. I had a special family wedding just outside of Chicago recently. I needed gear (Mixing Board, Speakers, Mic, etc). Lots of research brought me to Pro-Mix Audio. The rental prices were great. I worked with PJ and he was professional throughout the entire process. When I picked up the gear I noticed they had a great inventory set. They even set up the equipment to test/demo before I picked it up. Nice. I made a few last minute adjustments and there was no stress. Next trip to Chicago, I know where to go for any DJ needs. Highly recommend.
These guys are awesome. I had my birthday party. Without them it won t be as cool as it was. I asked for a fog machine, but pro mix was so nice, they even threw a fan and a lamp for me. Everything worked out fantastic. Thank you!!!

They were great for renting a do-it-yourself DJ system for our wedding. I would definitely rent from them again if I never had the need. The equipment was great and easy to use, the warnings on their website regarding ruining equipment are a little scary, but as long as you treat the equipment with care you have nothing to worry about.
I will admit one time when I called, someone who answered the phone was a little unhelpful and stand-offish but once I got connected with the person who helped us get everything set up it was a breeze.
Also, if you use the Google Maps app, BE VERY CAREFUL! The app will have their correct address on Oakton listed, but if you hit "Drive" (the car symbol), it will take you to their old location in Elk Grove. You may need to specifically drive to the address to get to them.
So! I have NOTHING but positive things to say about this place! I needed to rent a kareoke machine, sent them an email and the same day I received a response. I was already sold. I went to pick up the machine and Matt was so patient with me. Explained how to use it. Cause I was clueless. The kids ABSOLUTELY loved it. It was easy for them to use. We just sat back and enjoyed. Thank you so much for providing great customer service. I will be seeing you guys at my next event.

We rented the pea souper fog machine for our wedding this past Saturday and it made for the COOLEST photos of our first dance. It was a last minute decision and Mike from Pro Mix was beyond helpful. He let us pick it up early which was one less thing I had to stress about on my wedding day. Can t beat the price either. Machine worked as expected and the fog was thick and low to the ground thanks to Mike s expert advice. We ll be recommending pro mix for everyone s events!!

They showed me how to set up everything which made it less stressful when I had to do it by myself at he banquet hall.
