Strip tickets already purchased cannot be used. How so? The regular visitor who has purchased a strippenkaart has lost his money.

Always nice to be. Good movies, good food, good beer and always fun.
Special in Utrecht. Atmospheric, with history. Good movies and bistro cuisine. Coffee somewhat soft, but the warm apple globe an ornamental class in the city. Always fun.
For me this is a top location. Food, movies, terraces, culture, pleasant building, on the edge of the city center. Super.
Best art cinema in town and a great bar to boot. Get a Cineville card and see films here to your heart's content. LHC has become something of a second home.
Very nice theater and fine introduction by a nice man
Surprisingly cozy cinema with the introduction of the film that you are going to watch
A real film house! Talk at the beginning of the film. Not the most advanced image and sound technology, but the atmosphere makes up for a lot. Nice living room feeling.
Nice location, also nice to eat. Nice that for the film a short introduction is given about the film.
In alle opzichten top: personeel, eten, filmhuis, setting & voorzieningen
Don t care for the intro/background info for movies. Didn t come to the cinema for it to tell me how to judge a movie. The cinema is way over capacity, the service becomes slow.
It now requires customers to arrive 30 minutes early, but I m not willing to spend 30 plus 10 more minutes of useless introduction before I can watch the film. I can travel to Amsterdam with this time.
Nice complex where the less commercial films are shot. All films are ushered in with some extra information, for example about the actors, directors, the film itself or a piece of history.
Some rooms are a bit small, but that doesn't make the films any less good.
Fantastic cinema, fun those expliciters and films without a break. Nice cafe and nice beers too
Delicious eaten and then enjoyed the movie #badtimesattheelroyale
Always good film selection, more explicitly present
Very nice cinema. I had ordered tickets and due to circumstances all seats were occupied. The employees of the cinema helped well by arranging something else. Very good help and if still had a good evening!
Sympathiek filmhuis met gezellig restaurant en terras.
Lovely terrace in the late afternoon sun. Nice blond beer "de Josje" and oyster mushroom bitterballen. Great place in Utrecht!
Cosy place with alternative films. There's a small introduction at the beginning of every film (in Dutch). Great atmosphere and also good food and beers.
What a nostalgia, a really cool place for a night out
A bit chaotic alternative cafe / restaurant / movie theaters. Movie room has no air conditioning. Parking difficult.
It s just a great place to watch a movie, to have a drink, food, coffee whatever !
Historic building where you can eat well and then watch a good movie, there is also a cozy bar here.
Cosy and relaxed plus they show great films. Introductions to movies given by the staff (in Dutch) are interesting and informative. The complex used to be a police station. Take a closer look when visiting next time
Nice building, cozy atmosphere, good food, nice films
Beautiful cinema in the old police station. Beautiful historic building, perfect for the slightly different films than you usually see.
Excellent cinema with good programming and a ditto restaurant, where you can also enjoy a tasty bite without going to the movies. Furthermore, it lacks some extras compared to Kino or Kriterion.
Great traditional cinema in the heart of Utrecht at Ledig Erf. Perfect to grab a bite and enjoy a nice movie and hard into town afterwards.
A nice little cinema. Where they do NOT shoot Hollywood film films, but original films.
I accidentally bought tickets after my friend bought two as well. Then they don't take it back, but you have to choose a movie and time in the coming week. Annoying.
Cozy informal cinema with good climate control in the halls and current offerings. Previously a speaker who briefly introduces the film.
Very nice cinema to go. They mainly have arthouse films. The location is special.
Nice cinema. The favorite recommended if only because of the camaracking
Modest selection of special beers, nice location, and very conscious/healthy/fairtrade food. Also brew their own beer (which you can only get here and in one other). So very nice for a movie and some dinner/drinks!
Perfect spot for arthouse films and good food as well.
Nice drink, and it remains a beautiful building with various bars and halls. Always nice to come in!
The most fun cinema in Utrecht. You can also have a nice dinner and a nice drink. Tip: buy a strippenkaart if you come here regularly
Wonderful place for a great movie experience, even for a movie an intro is done by a person
A very beautiful cinema. Nice (small) rooms where you can watch beautiful art house movies. You can even go in with your fresh mint tea. Nice intro before the movie starts. Recommended.
5 minutes from Utrecht Vaartsche rein so great to reach by public transport
Ordered three tickets for the movie. We thought Thursday at 0:00 but later it turned out that it was Wednesday at 0:00. Our mistake of course, but unfortunately they don't do service here. They can see that the qr code has not been used, but the answer to the question whether we might be allowed to see the film another day was immediately and definitively NO. Thank you for thinking along for a solution .. Unbelievable.
Very nice and cozy movie theater. A very funny detail is the read-out introduction of the film that is going to play!
Most beautiful cinema in Utrecht! The room is somewhat dated compared to the newest cinema rooms. Yet it is a party if you walk through the building.
The arthouse cinema of Utrecht. Beautiful building!
nice terrace with good coffee and good service, good movies, beautiful building
Last time the staff was super nice so I am changing my two-star rating to 4!
Nice atmosphere, good beers and very interesting films.
LHC is such a lovely place to hang out for a drink just outside in the last rays of the sun, or watch an arthouse movie inside. I come there quite a lot, friendly people, great selection of movies if you're into alternative a bit.
Very nice cinema and bar/restaurant With a very good selection of (generally) higher quality movies.
Atmospheric cinema, where you can also eat inside and outside on the terrace. In a cozy neighborhood.
local beers on tap as it should be, and always nice to combine a movie with a bite of food
Friday evening: full but cozy. Insufficient seating areas to have a drink.
Living in Utrecht and not being familiar with the Louis Hartloper complex, that can't be ...
This iconic old police station houses a bar / restaurant and cinema that mainly focuses on non-mainstream films, but fortunately, more arthouse and alternative films.
As a person from Utrecht and the Netherlands, I personally think this is a great place to come back to again and again and it is a place from my childhood.
The prices are very reasonable and the location on the toll lane barrier is also nonetheless!
Cozy and small cinema where alternative films are shown. If it is a beautiful day, it is definitely worth it to come a little earlier and enjoy the beautiful terrace.
Always nice to be here. Nice atmosphere, terrace inside or outside, film, snack, drink. Nice easy and great film offer.
Fine bios where you can also eat and drink. Unfortunately, people who are wheelchair-bound are not fully wheelchair-accessible.
