Don t care for the intro/background info for movies. Didn t come to the cinema for it to tell me how to judge a movie. The cinema is way over capacity, the service becomes slow.

It now requires customers to arrive 30 minutes early, but I m not willing to spend 30 plus 10 more minutes of useless introduction before I can watch the film. I can travel to Amsterdam with this time.

Nice complex where the less commercial films are shot. All films are ushered in with some extra information, for example about the actors, directors, the film itself or a piece of history.
Some rooms are a bit small, but that doesn't make the films any less good.

Very nice cinema. I had ordered tickets and due to circumstances all seats were occupied. The employees of the cinema helped well by arranging something else. Very good help and if still had a good evening!

Cosy and relaxed plus they show great films. Introductions to movies given by the staff (in Dutch) are interesting and informative. The complex used to be a police station. Take a closer look when visiting next time

Modest selection of special beers, nice location, and very conscious/healthy/fairtrade food. Also brew their own beer (which you can only get here and in one other). So very nice for a movie and some dinner/drinks!

A very beautiful cinema. Nice (small) rooms where you can watch beautiful art house movies. You can even go in with your fresh mint tea. Nice intro before the movie starts. Recommended.

Ordered three tickets for the movie. We thought Thursday at 0:00 but later it turned out that it was Wednesday at 0:00. Our mistake of course, but unfortunately they don't do service here. They can see that the qr code has not been used, but the answer to the question whether we might be allowed to see the film another day was immediately and definitively NO. Thank you for thinking along for a solution .. Unbelievable.

LHC is such a lovely place to hang out for a drink just outside in the last rays of the sun, or watch an arthouse movie inside. I come there quite a lot, friendly people, great selection of movies if you're into alternative a bit.

Living in Utrecht and not being familiar with the Louis Hartloper complex, that can't be ...

This iconic old police station houses a bar / restaurant and cinema that mainly focuses on non-mainstream films, but fortunately, more arthouse and alternative films.

As a person from Utrecht and the Netherlands, I personally think this is a great place to come back to again and again and it is a place from my childhood.

The prices are very reasonable and the location on the toll lane barrier is also nonetheless!
