Lotus Research Review

I'm here now recovering from the mini tummy tuck study. I had been calling for a few months and got called back to participate. I came in for screening on Friday and was scheduled for surgery the following Wednesday!! Dr Baker was my surgeon she is super nice and did a great job. Very special thanks to my nurse Evelyn she has been so great looking after me and all the staff is very nice. If your looking into doing a study my tips are keep calling be persistant and if u get called for screening start making arrangements for work/child care etc. It is a very quick process. This place is awesome thanks Lotus!!!

Sadly this is going to be the last time I go to lotus, I would like everyone to know this so they look at the big picture. And 90 percent of there good reviews are from tummy tucks,and if your going for that you should know from the women that go there for that it's just in one section and you have a large scar so if you dont have a magic eraser to remove deep thick scars then good luck.Now they might have a menu that you can choose some what most things that other locations offer or give an option of. you get your own room for the study and its clean. Being trapped in a room with nothing to watch and no rec room.However all that's nothing compared to pay cause honestly when it comes down to it whoever goes there is mostly there for the money and they know this too. Yet lotus spends most of its money on location, that they cant pay its volunteers, so how is it every other location that's in the same field of work can pay you in disbursements once you completed even a portion. But at lotus you call the stafg and they say long term 4 to 6 weeks. Truthfully there not doing well, they have small studies that pay pennies to the dollars compared to other locations, they have a long process to pay out volunteers. Weres the plus side because I cant see it. The only thing about lotus is its connected to a good hospital. But that hospital has nothing to do with lotus other then food and an old section of the hospital that they rented to lotus. They will promise you a sooner date but I'm telling you I got no money my 1st stay or my 2nd stay. So please do yourself a favor go else where, LOTUS IS BROKE AND CANT AFFORD TO PAY ITS VOLUNTEERS. The doctors and staff dont wait 4 to 6 weeks for a paycheck ,why should we?

Let me start off by saying that if I could give this company 10 stars, I definitely would do so. I am currently one week post op and loving the results of my breast augmentation. From start to finish they exceeded my expectations and I am forever grateful. When I first stumbled upon their ad I was quite skeptical, but after researching the company, as well as the surgeon Dr. Kevin Ruhge and then attending my first appointment, I from that moment had zero doubts that I wanted to continue. Not only was I getting my dream surgery completely paid for, I was also getting paid to participate. They were very informative the whole way through and went over all of the risks involved. They let me know that at any time I could discontinue the study and I would be prorated for my time spent. Their first concern seemed to be the health and safety of their patients and that made me feel at ease. High fives all around to the incredible staff that took care of me, Alina, John, Stephanie, Naomi, Aramis, Sara, Ryan, Marianne, Emjay, Joanna and Phillip. Dr. Rughe was amazing every step of the way and I am already incredibly happy with my results. They all were seriously the best stuff I could've hoped for. They made this study feel like a mini vacation. If you're thinking about participating, I'd say go for it. You won't be disappointed! Thanks again Lotus! You rock!

It was a completely wonderful experience. I would recommend for anyone to try a service out with them. They offer many kinds of services, from tummy tucks, to bunion surgery, to even breast augmentation! I received a full tummy tuck in December 2018. I just ended my last follow up visit with them this week, January 9,2019. My surgeon was amazing, Dr. Ruhge. The nurses, staff, doctors all make you feel very cared for, and sincerely care about your comfort. When I came out of surgery, I did not take to the anesthesia well, so I really because very nauseated and committed a lot. They were on top of giving me medications as much as I needed to stop my vomiting and take away even the nausea. Normally for tummy tuck surgeries, you are released right after recovery, that same day. Because this clinic is researching the pain and discomfort levels, you stay in the hospital 4 days after. It s great! They are right there for you if you need anything. They really made me feel safe and cared for. My nurse majority of the time was Evelyn. I love her! She is so cool and down to earth and top it off absolutely gorgeous! Male nurse, Masis, is such a sweetie pie! He is so caring, considerate, respectful and always keeps in mind your dignity. All the nurses at Lotus have the utmost standards of patient dignity, which means so much when you are a patient. My Dr. Ruhge was helpful with all questions and concerns. I am so happy with the tummy tuck he did for me. And after all this I even got paid!!! No way!!! You even get paid to have a cosmetic surgery that would other wise be insanely expensive!! I could go on about Lotus................. you are in good hands with Lotus Clinical Research and all their staff.

Every moment of my experience has been amazing! From Dr. Baker - Great bed side manner, Very professional,sweet and down to earth ( excellent job on my mini tummy tuck) to the extraordinary nurses that took above and beyond care of me - Day and night Sara's ,Annelyn,Lydianah, Naomi, Miss sweet, Beautiful and Real Evelynn wow I connected with her in such a special way (I can't remember every name) Each nurse and staff member impacted me in a positive way. This will be a great memory, it wasn't just about the surgery or Many benefits that I gained but a added piece to my life story an experience to remember . The words spoke to me, the compassion , and patience! The food was YUMMY too!

I'm being discharged today from lotus and I had a great experience . Everything with the surgery went very smooth . I participated in the breast augmentation study. Dr. Rughe was my surgeon and he did a wonderful job. All the nurses here are great and did a great job of taking car of me. I just want to specifically thank Christina and Noel , even though I can tell I annoyed them at times they were still very cool. Yes the screening does take a while but that's because they are usually caring for patients at the same time. I didn't know that coming in so I got kind of frustrated. But if you are a patient person its worth it. Thank you lotus and I can't wait to come back and see the staff for my follow ups.

I came here back in September 2016 for the bunion study. Had the bunion on my left foot removed. I have to say the doctor as well as all staff members were not only good at their jobs, but exceptionally nice and made me feel comfortable. I really appreciate everyone that helped me get through those 4 days of stay.

I just completed a mini tummy tuck trial. The staff is 100% amazing! They are doing a study but truly do care about you as well! I loved ever single person I spoke with. My night nurse rocked! Thank you all who put up with me constantly calling you guys to help me, and no one ever complained they said call me more! Your the best and I would love to do another trial. Call me if a breast lift trial happens!
