Oh what a wonderful time I had at this hotel and what fabulous memories.
The staff were so accommodating. When we arrived (from England) our room was still not ready, so as a good will gesture they compensated us with a meal in their wonderful restaurant (which was delicious). The service was great, and the staff were very friendly.

The room was fantastic. We had a great view. It was so spacious and clean. I loved every second of our stay. The bathroom was beautiful also.

Everything about the hotel is luxurious, but accessible to all.

I loved the atmosphere there, and the overall feel of the place. It was so clean and tidy, and maintained to the highest standard.

Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.

Our stay was wonderful for so many reasons!! The palace itself was absolutely beautiful. The front desk was so wonderful to work with and accommodating. The concierge, Diego, was the best! He gave us excellent recommendations and was so pleasant. He knew exactly what we wanted and found us great spots to go! Last but not least, Maurice who gave us a tour of the show gossip girls and where different shows and scenes were filled made my daughters stay there even more exciting !!! Maurice had wonderful stories to share and was such a joy to be around

Of our hearts for making our stay there as special as it was!! Oh did I forget to say our view of the cathedral from our room was breathtaking!!! I can go on and on!!! It was just perfect!!!!

Stayed at the Lotte for my wedding hotel block. From start to finish, May Yam was the woman I worked with, and she was AMAZING. All attention to detail and special requests were adhered to and granted and my guests were extremely happy with their stay. Every room was spotless and had cathedral views. Do not hesitate to book here if ever in NYC!

We always stay here when we visit NYC.
It's a great hotel in a fabulous location.
Room, lobby, elevators all very clean which is obviously super important to me now. I do wish they had their bar and outside seating open but it was all closed ( very disappointed). It will always be a NYC favorite!!

Great location!...
In Towers for three nights last week showing friends around town. Had stayed here previously and always enjoyed my stay.
Plane into LGA was changed to 6am departure from Boston so we arrived @ hotel around 8am. Registration desk was very gracious with allowing us early check-in. Two rooms facing west overlooking St Patrick's Cathedral as requested.
Rooms great save for the fact that housekeeping could have used more effort in cleaning - marble surfaces bedroom furniture were streaked, as well as glass top on desk.
Tower rooms could use a refresh as they are showing their age with scratches and dings. Large rooms with great views but I would not rate the Towers as five star. Still a nice stay @ convent location.

What can I say about this place that is good first .

The rooms are very nice, classy, clean, spacious, and comfortable

What s not good:
Extremely expensive and did not give the room promised and paid extra for. View of nothing particularly just some buildings on the side.

Careless reception
2 out of 3 elevators not working for a tower building
No minibar
No mini fridge
No shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom
No room service
No bar/restaurant (everything is closed minus the pastry shop)
No valet parking
Etc etc I need not continue.

The excuse for everything, COVID .

This is a 5 star place supposedly and even after mentioning all this I got only one call and no offer to make reparations. I will update this if it changes, but as of now I would not recommend this place to anybody. Switching over to the Conrad Downtown tonight for half the price

Don't forget to use H . when booking a stay. This web site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down.

Clean sound proof rooms. Amazing location right next to Saks Fifth avenue and the cathedral. I ve stayed here more than twice. So festive during the Christmas season!

We stayed here for four nights September 10th to 14th, 2021. No restaurants were open, no room service, no bottled water in the rooms. mini bars were empty (not a crumb inside) and the small shop off the lobby serving coffee, pastries and a few other to go items was opened and closed at random. When we complained to guest services we were told it was due to Covid. Why are other hotels in NYC offering all these services and restaurants are fully operating? Also no turn down service at night. Main entrance off Madison also closed, apparently Covid is the go to excuse here as well. When we asked for bottled water in our room, we were told the hotel manager would have to approve it. Did not get any water. Is this a 1 star hotel?
In the lobby we heard so many other hotel guests complaining about the same issues. I would never stay at this poorly run hotel again even though it is a lovely building and a great location. Stay away, you can do much better for a fee of almost $700 USD a night. We also were told by hotel staff that it has been poorly run since Lotte took over, A very disappointing stay!!

After spending a night in a hotel that was recommended to us but was not great, we called the Lotte to see if they had availability last minute. They had rooms for us and honored the promotion they had offered us in the past. Unlike some of the reviews here, we had a great check in experience. We did not have to wait and my children were treated like a little king and queen because it s the palace! They have them crowns and teddy bears it was very cute. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff goes out their way to make sure all your needs are met. The housekeeper who goes by Peter in particular was extraordinary. She helped us get in touch with security when we forgot our room key (would have been a pain to go back down to the lobby with 2 kids). My husband paced the halls while my son was having a tantrum/fighting sleep. When my mom (staying in an adjoining room) was about to knock on my door, Peter let her know that it sounded like the baby just fell asleep. Staff in the concierge and cafe were great too! All around wonderful stay and we are so glad we moved over to this hotel. It made our trip so much better!

Shout out to Kevin, Kal and my friends in the Cafe! I truly felt like a Princess here. I got an amazing grand tour, with Grade A commentary from Kevin, the true knight of the Palace! (Thanks to the staff for not judging me for wandering around the soft robe that was provided.) We had a room issue that slightly detracted from my experience. But otherwise, the staff went above and beyond in terms of service. I would definitely consider staying here again.
