Went into this dealership to drive a car and think about it but came away with such a good deal I could not pass it up. My salesman was very professional with a good sense of humor. Made this a GREAT experience. The entire process took about an hour and a half and actually enjoyed buying my first Toyota! Do not have a single bad thing to say about my experience. Wonderful dealership!!!!

Always the place to go for great service and hometown love. Have great choices and work with you with any kind of credit. Down payments always help the bigger picture.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Lost Pines Toyota recently, and in particular Clay Wilson. They were quick, attentive, and nothing but a joy to deal with. Clay was great at providing me with the information I needed, and helped me with my new car purchase.
Clay is especially good with email and phone, which is often not the case at all dealerships.
I would not hesitate to work with them again, or send friends and family to shop there.
I've bought 3 cars/trucks in 3 years! Charlie Akin and Jimmy Vaughn really treated us like priorities! Will definitely be back for my next vehicle purchase!!!
If I could give them more stars, I WOULD! Adam made this the best car buying experience I ve ever had. From the test drive to the drive away, impeccable customer service, and the most personalized car buying experience. Go see Adam for your next car, he ll take good care of you!
Caitlin was my salesperson and she was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I wanted and delivered all items on point. The work atmosphere and customer service was excellent.
Heather Henkell and Lost Pines Toyota are great to work with and very patient. After months of car shopping everything came together today for a wonderful Christmas surprise. We have spent months looking at almost everything that came across the dealership lot. We were almost embarrassed to show up again to look at one more car. Finally the right one came up and Heather worked with my husband to secretly make the deal, get the car ready and surprise me with a wonderful Christmas present. Thanks Heather, Jim and Gary for making this happen. Unfortunately Heather is moving and we will miss her but I'm sure we will continue to be treated well at Lost Pines Toyota. Sincerely, Lisa Garon 12/19/2014
Jesse and Brandon made my car buying experience a breeze. I live in Austin so this location is a bit of a drive but well worth it for the customer service alone! From package features and product knowledge to paperwork, they explained everything very clearly so that I knew exactly what I was getting with my new RAV4 LE. I would absolutely tell anyone in search of a new Toyota to not waste their time at another local dealer. Just head over and they will take excellent care of you!
I researched the inventory of trucks available at Lost Pines on the day before my arrival. I was referred by a friend to contact a salesman, Chris Blankenshp, at this dealership. On my arrival, Mr. Blankenship had pulled the vehicle I was most interested and parked it in front of the dealership. He was also waiting in front of the dealership for my arrival. Upon meeting him he was extremely accommodating and never wash pushy, nor seemed in a hurry. Chris showed me several vehicles until I indicated to him one I was interested in.
From there, the dealership provided me with my trade in appraisal which was spot on with what I expected to be offered.
This car purchase was the simplest I have ever made in the 25 years of my adult life. The employees at Lost Pines Toyota are good, fair, straight shooting folks. Mr. Blankenship is a retired US military veteran who shoots the car business straight to the consumer with no BS. Thank you Chris for your service to our country and for putting this car buyer at ease with the process. I would not hesitate to bring back my business to this dealership and t to this fine salesman.
Shawn Galvan and DJ helped me in my car buying purchase. It was an amazing and easy experience. I was shocked how easy the staff was to work with and willingness to go extra mile to make sure myself and my injured father was comfortable. I appreciate all their help and the actual building is pretty soft on the eyes.
Bought my new Tundra here. I realize I'm not the easiest customer and had high expectations on the truck and options. I had been led on and let down by other area Toyota dealerships (closer to my house), and I'm glad I called Lost Pines Toyota. Great environment, low pressure, great to deal with, and very respectful of my time (which I very much appreciated).
I worked with John Cardone, and he is everything you could ask for: honest, attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend John and Lost Pines Toyota, we will come back when it's time to get my wife a vehicle.
UPDATE. Going on three weeks now to get an answer with no such luck. Have even sent an email to the owner and no response. Attempted to get an answer from three sources now and nothing.
Sent email a week ago to Andy in finance to cancel the extended warranty ams refund any monies due. No response.
I went up there to give my brother a ride back because he was getting his Toyota tundra serviced and I was just looking around while I was waiting and Jesse that works there came up to me and introduced himself, and he asked me if I was interested in buying and I said right now I'm not because I owe money on my truck I have right now and he started talking to me and then next thing I know he was working on getting into tundra and he went above and beyond to get me what I wanted in a truck he even went to this gentleman named Bill and both of them together gave me a really good deal and had me on the road that day and I do really appreciate it. I will be buying my next one there too and hopefully those two gentlemen are still there because I will be asking for them personally.
I needed my alignment done quickly after I had some custom suspension work done on my Icon struts. Ed in the service department went above and beyond to take care of my truck for me. By the way I drive a Ford F150, not a Toyota... He still stepped up to earn my business. Stop by and ask for him if you need service.
I drove about 2 hours to get to Lost Pines, Bastrop... passed about 5 toyota dealers on my way there. I was skeptical of the reviews, no car dealership ever gets this high of marks, I love looking for and at trucks, but ihate the buying process. I know the business, I know sales tactics. These guys didn't do what the big dealers do, in the city. That's why we wanted to work with a smaller town's dealership. I was paired with Charlie. He and his team made this the best, easiest, car buying experience I've ever had! I've purchased about a dozen cars, trucks, motorcycles, rv's from dealers, all miserable experiences, usually leave feeling violated and exploited . Not the case with this dealer. They explained everything along the way to us. Even when I wish they'd just skip past done parts. They offered us a competitive price for our trade and worked hard and succeeded to get us a good APR. They made buying our 4Runner a pleasure. This team has their stuff together. The only negative I could say is the process was slow, but for me that's partly a positive. It being show wasn't anyone's fault, we came late, and banks were closed by the time it was time for financing. Thanks Lost Pines for the great experience.
They went above and beyond all my expectations. I got a great car for a great price. I would send anyone there from my family. Jesse knocked it out of the park. I don't like buying a vehicle at a dealership. I would/will return to this one. Thanks. C.Tucker.
Had the best experience here. Was taking my dad's truck in to be inspected and oil changed and while I waited I did alittle window shopping. My sales guy showed me a really nice Chevy suv and he definitely asked alot of questions which I liked because he basically was making it a car personalized to fit me and my needs.
Easy to buy from but don't expect much after the sale. Waited to long for the free detail or make ready whatever you want to to call it. Our bad couldn't even get a call back about if maybe they could over look the 30 day mark since it was maybe 40 days?? Send wife and kids to grab plates, they say we don't have anyone available to put those on for you right now (today 7/26/18).........oh come on how freaking lazy. Don't expect return business with that kind of service after the sale
I just purchased a new Tundra TRD PRO from this dealer, and while the salesman was extremely helpful and friendly, thats where things took a turn. I don't believe it was malicious, but promises were made to get a sale done as to what could be modified on the truck and the money was rolled into my note. We later found out that the modifications they thought could take place, in fact could not and still be covered by warranty. This left me stuck with a truck that ultimately doesn't meet my desired aesthetic or performance needs. Sadly I will own this truck for several years until I can make a change, or am out of warranty and will just do the modifications (lift) anyway. If they try and tell you that they can lift a TRD PRO and it be covered under warratny, just know they're not being honest and just want to get it sold. I would also add every solution to mitigate this issue was put on my shoulders to figure out (e.g. what size tires and wheel offset would fit and work, etc). These are all things they spoke with complete authority and confidence about prior to the sale.
So took my new car in to get some worked done. The service side of things is the best. My prob is the sales. On leaveing with my new car I only got one key and was told it be waiting when I came in to get my hitch put on hitch. I called 3 days before and made sure and was told no prob. As soon drop my car for serivce I talke to my salesman to remind him. After hrs I went to ask him before I left and he said he still can t make a new key! I ended up bringing it up to the service manger and they where able to get it handle in 10 mins. I will diff come vist the service side but won t ever buy a new car. This was my first new car and deal taken avendice of.
Promised me a payment in my range, when I got there the 2013 Ford Flex AWD Limited stock#DBD02452A, listed at $16,964 had a busted power train unit that needed to be replaced. We still wanted it but wanted them to take $2500 off which is what we needed to fix it. By the time paperwork was being worked on they jacked the price up and even changed the listing online to $19,999 and refused to come off any for the repairs and added a $2600 finance fee AND $1800 in accessories #1 tinted windows -comes standard- #2 some clear protective front bumper cover -didn't have one- #3 LoJack- fine but you can take it off, I don't need it. I drove 8 hours to see this car, told them I needed a set number on payments, all but my signature, before I drove all this way. I needed $381ish, my note now, she told me on the phone $450-460, after all this $581 is what she came up with, how is that anywhere near $381.
When in for my 5000 mile maintenance on my 2018 Camry. It was Saturday morning about 930am. I was on my way at 945am. Employees were friendly and helpful. Dealership is very customer friendly and showroom is impressive. Worth the drive to Bastrop if your car shopping.
Bought a couple of Toyota s here but not so sure will do the same in the future. The service used to be top notch and I could wait for my vehicle to be serviced in less than an hour. Now the last couple of times it has taken 2 to 3 hours.
Don t go anywhere else! Hands down the best car buying experience I ve had. They took a couple days but found me the best deal possible. Give them time and you won t be disappointed! Thank you Brett and your team for making it possible!
Disappointed. The finance person was ready to close the deal at 7.9% when I (customer) had to direct her to keep looking for a better rate. RBFCU gave me a 3.4%! I saved myself from paying too much and she hurried off to lunch immediately following the signing the docs.
Jesse, Heather and Gary were awesome! Went there to look for a nice used car and ended up getting a brand new corolla. It was the best buying experience I have ever had.
The owner Carlos came within inches of sideswiping me this morning in Austin in his brown Tundra. I then watched him cut across 3 lanes of heavy traffic using no signal. No courtesy or consideration for fellow Texans behind the wheel. Consider what kind of person you want to give your $$money$$ to. Moreover My girlfriend bought her car from this place a few years back and Lost Pines sold her a lemon. If it weren t for her loud protective mother she would have ended up with it no doubt.
Maybe I'm old school, but when someone purchases a $35,000.00 new vehicle and the tags finally arrive, they should either put them on for you or offer to mail them to you. Neither happened, we had to drive over to wait in line for the reception person to find them and hand them to me. I'm a 100% disabled Veteran, I don't expect them to give me anything and they don't "only active duty qualify for any program or discount" per Adam my Salesperson. But, I would expect someone with visible limitations and disabilities (I have (2) two prosthetic legs, a nonusable arm and Parkinson's, it's very apparent that I can only walk with the assistance of a walker or cane) would at least be asked if they needed help putting them on. I personally think they should offer to install everyones new tags, but I guess once they have your money, they don't care anymore. They don't mind plastering their name on the bracket and on the temporary front tag, but don't offer to put the new tags on? What's wrong with these people? On the paperwork (sticker) on the window of my new Tacoma, it says "after sale VIP salesperson follow up, I'm not sure what that means, since there was no follow up after they took my money. They truly don't care about taking care of the customers. The last thing I was told at Lost Pines Toyota was we'll call you to schedule your first service, I'm not sure how the would know when I will have enough mileage to need service, but not to worry that was a lie too, to this day, they've never called to schedule service, to see if I had any questions, problems or anything else. As I purchase more vehicles in the future, they won't be high on my list of possible dealers to purchase from. Keep reading, this is only the beginning of what you can expect if you purchase a vehicle from them. The Salesperson Adam, is another reason they only got (2) two stars. If I had known when I bought what I know now, I would have ask for a different Salesperson or gone somewhere else to spend my money. Adam is a nice enough guy, but he'll promise the moon and continually fail to deliver or take care of the customer. He won't even call you after he promises to. Once it took over a week and still no call, I finally had to call and talk to his Sales Partner, who ended up being more help than Adam ever thought about being and another time Adam said he'd call within a couple of minutes, (9) nine hours later, we drove over and he claimed he had been with a customer for (9) nine hours, but was going to call. Yeah, right, another Adam failure to deliver what he promised. He didn't know how to activate something on the sticker so he tried to tell us that the new Tacoma we bought didn't have the features listed on the window sticker. The truth was, Adam didn't know how to activate the features and wouldn't admit he didn't, so someone else that did know could fix it. Not very professional in my opinion. Chad in the Service Department seems to be wonderful and probably should get 5-stars, but won't because of Adam and the Sales Department. If you need Service, ask for Chad, he took care of what Adam was giving me the run around on. The first 270 miles on the new truck were all spent going back and forth to Adam at Lost Pines Toyota. Believing that Adam was telling us the truth, only to find out he wasn't or didn't know what he was talking about. He did offer to fill out tank, but wasn't there to actually do it. Another Adam promise that will never happen. I'm not sure that Lost Pines Toyota will ever be considered when I purchase a new vehicle, we'll see if Chad and their Service Department can provide a better experience than Adam from their Sale Department did. I truly hope all this information will help you decide if Lost Pines Toyota is a company you want to give your money to or not. At least you'll know what to expect or more what not to expect, no matter what they promise you.
What a great experience at Lost Line Toyota. Never have I purchased a car with such ease. DJ Warner , Gary Faust the finance guy all were so great to work with. AND TO JESSE TORRES this guy knows his product. Totally would purchase another car with him. Drove from Louisiana to purchase our new car AND we were extremely satisfied. The entire staff from the time we walked in till the time we left were awesome. Thank you big big JESSE TORRES.
Quoted on price on phone, when we went to sign it was $8000.00 different. Car was poorly cleaned inside. Stated an electric car seat motor was on backorder. When we went to sign, stated motor would not be fixed. Drove 6 hr round trip to buy car - what a waste of our time, money, and energy. Disgusting customer service.
Brett Graham, Brant Bunny and all staff at Lost Pines are who you want to work with!! They went above and beyond to help my Fiance get her dream to own a 4 Runner!! We live in Corpus Christi and will never try to do business down here again!! Lost Pines is the real deal!! You want a Toyota this is where you need to go!! Drive a while save a ton!! And no hassel!! They made it look easy!!
Would like to thank Chris Blankenship for a great deal on the new 2016 Toyota Corolla my first new car in a long time !! He made my car buying experience a really good one !! And called to see if I had any questions or concerns afterwards really great job by the whole lost pines team
I purchased my FJ Cruiser from them in May of last year and was completely deceived by Robert in their finance department. He sold me an Extra Care Warranty package for $900. He told me that it would cover my car for 84 months or up to 100k miles from the date of purchase. However, the warranty had actually started the date the vehicle was made in 2008. I had my first claim and was denied because the warranty had really expired on 1/1/2015. Why would I spend $900 for a warranty that would only last 6 months?
This was completely unethical, deceitful, and predatory. Do not deal with these slime balls in the finance department. I'd highly recommend going to another dealership
I wasn't sure what I wanted when I got there. Jesse Torres approached me & we started the adventure. He listened to what I wanted & how much I could spend. He showed me different cars with different prices. I drove several I liked & together we narrowed it down to the car I liked with the right price for me. thanks Jesse for the easy enjoyable, no pressure day with you!
The last car I had was one my father bought me, and he got truly scammed because the car had a junk transmission and the guy claimed we can get it fixed on its warranty. Then he sent us to the transmission guy who scammed my dad AGAIN, charging him around $2,400 to do work he didn't do and blatantly giving him the run around, even not answering calls for several days, then when he finally does, he claims he went to Mexico WITHOUT TELLING US FIRST!
So needless to say, I was pretty jaded about subsequent trips to car dealerships, especially after seeing so many rated with less than 4 stars. I wanted a Toyota Camry, and I found that Lost Pines Toyota has a 2013 Camry XLE HYBRID priced at $14,333, so I was pretty hyped about that seeing a car I want at one of the few dealerships with mostly positive ratings on Google.
And I had quite a pleasant experience here at Lost Pines Toyota! I was greeted with an air of friendliness by Erik, who I felt I didn t have to keep my guard up around despite my bad experience anxiety. He spoke to me for a bit about the car I wanted and then sent my way an amicable, chill young hybrid specialist by the name of DJ. He told me everything there was to tell my about the Camry Hybrid, and hybrids in general, and not once did I get the sense that he didn t know what he was talking about. This dude knew hybrids inside and out, literally!
The car seemed to be working totally fine even though they only recently acquired it and didn t have a chance to certify it. The only problems with the car (and the overall experience) I had were that even though it only had 1 owner and only 42k miles, it already had a few stains on the seats and floor mats that no one tried to clean, and a few ugly but minor scratches on the bottom edge of the front bumper.
But they were selling it for less than the KBB fair market value with less miles than average, so I was ready to get this car anyway. And Erik made this happen in a breeze, made an anxious person like me feel comfortable and respected going through the buying process. Not once did I feel like he was trying to manipulate, deceive or coerce me. To me, he was honest, friendly and down-to-earth, and I appreciated that.
Caitlyn in the financial department made the final handover process quick and painless. She was rapid and precise, didn t have any issues getting the needed documents and information for us. They were nice enough to work with me to get the car at an even better price than what they listed online, which was already a better than average deal. Awesome! Thank you Lost Pines for your kind and professional service!
We had a GREAT experience with Lost Pines Toyota, especially with Chris Blankenship, our sales representative. Chuck and I decided to look at cars we might want to buy within the next year as we have three high-mileage, older vehicles that are starting to "nickel and dime" us crazy. We showed up at about 2 p.m. one afternoon and told Chris (who was outside the front door and asked if he could help us) that we weren't buying, but just wanted to look. He said he'd be glad to help us look. He showed us the 2015 Corolla, Camry, Rav 4, and Prius. He encouraged us to take the cars onto Hwy 71 and into neighborhoods to see the cars' performances on different road surfaces. He explained and showed us different new features on these models, especially the new navigation screens and their capabilities. He went over the pricing of the different models and checked with his manager about rebates that might apply. He ended up staying an hour past his shift to finish our tour and at no time did he try to push or hurry us. He was very gracious. We thanked him when we were finished and left, meaning not to see him again for about a year.
As things usually happen, we had a problem with our two oldest vehicles the next week. Our mechanic and family friend told us that it may be time to trade in one of them and get a newer car now instead of later. We went back to Lost Pines Toyota to look for Chris, who was available. We told him we had decided to buy a 2015 Camry now instead of waiting another year. He told us that we might want to get a 2016 instead as there were now several of them in stock and some had better deals than the 2015 models we had looked at the previous week. We were skeptical, but willing to look. One thing that was in favor of the 2016 models was that there were colors other than black, grey, or silver available. We were interested in white. He drove a black 2015 and a white 2016 Camry to the front of the dealership so we could see both. We really liked the white one and Chris went over the "dash" of the car very thoroughly with us (lots of unfamiliar "bells and whistles"). It turned out that the 2016 was less expensive to buy and he again worked late to get our paperwork entered and processed.
Shannon Eichorn also stayed late to help with the financing and paperwork. We had not brought our current insurance document with us, but she kindly said we could bring it with us tomorrow morning when we picked up the car. They, and the "make ready" department were willing to stay even later to get the car washed and ready for us to take that night, but we had said that we would rather wait till the morning. I know it was after 9, and maybe after 9:30 when we left the dealership.
We returned the next morning and were greeted at the door. Chris was told we were there and he came to help us finish our purchase. He took us to Shannon to give her our insurance document and she added that to her file and said we were "ready to go!" Chris had already had the car washed, filled with gas, and parked just outside the showroom door. He walked us to the car and again made sure we knew how to start it and drive it off the lot. He was a good tutor!
Our whole set of experiences with the staff and facilities of Lost Pine Toyota was GREAT! We never felt pushed or prodded to do anything for which we weren't ready. Everyone was courteous and greeted us with smiles (even that first day when we said we weren't buying). The whole process was pleasant and, though we knew lots of people had to do lots of work to make it happen, we were not made to feel like we were imposing on anyone, even with the late hours several stayed. We still have two high-mileage old cars and, when we have to replace them, we will definitely consider Lost Pines Toyota. Thanks, y'all!
Always great service! They never make me wait ridiculous amounts of time, and if there is something taking longer they give me the heads up before hand and keep me informed. I tried other Toyota locations and this one is hy far the best!
Had a great experience once again with Quincy in sales. I recieved the most outstanding customer service from him. There isnt any pressure and I appreciated that!!! Thank you Toyota and Thank you Quincy
Staff is good and usually timely. This is the best Toyota service dept in the Austin area. I ll drive 45 minutes to avoid Charles Maund or autonation, who have both proven terrible.
The employees at Lost Pines Toyota are always friendly and courteous. I recently purchased a car there and I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. I highly recommend this dealership.
I had 3 employees help me out while I was at the dealership. I only remember Chad and Brandon (forgot the name of the first guy that helped me out, sorry!) and they gave the best customer service ever! Took my car in to get service done and the process was so easy. I wish all customer service representatives would have the attitude and caring as I have experienced at this Toyota dealership!
Walking into a dealership, you always get the feeling that they are after your money, that once your signature is on the paper, it is what it is. Well after some unexpected events all I can say is that Adam and his team did an Fantastic job! They worked with me to get me back on the road and in my truck as fast as possible. I knew that for years Toyota was going to be my brand and they certainly lived up to that expectation. Never turning back now, you now have a customer for life!
Buying experience was excellent and went smoothly. Dustin Cavazos was very knowledgeable and fully answered every question we had. The finance guy Gary was awesome as well! Outstanding service and great atmosphere!
I always feel confident taking my Toyota Tundra to Lost Pines. The service riders are helpful and honest. They explain things in an easy to understand way and never try to "sell" me services. I will always take my vehicles there and recommend them to anyone with a Toyota vehicle.
We purchased my wife's Highlander at Lost Pines Toyota. The management team including Mike O'Connor and DJ were amazing to work with! They made our car buying experience fast, simple and painless. Thanks to everyone there!
I like coming to get an oil change but I don't think I will continue, I travel from Austin to Bastrop and with both I end up spending over $100 for an oil change. There needs to be a discount or coupons something. I get it here in Austin from now on.
We took our car there to get the inspection done even though it's not a Toyota. They we're more than happy to do the inspection. The lobby waiting area was very clean with very comfortable chairs. The showroom was uncluttered and nice to look at with a few vehicles to peek into. There was one serviceman who used to be a Salesman and apparently still acts like a Salesman from time to time who was a little pushy, but other than that the experience was a very pleasant one.
I chose to buy a used car from this dealership because I thought it would be a safer bet than buying from an independent car lot. Initially, the experience was very positive. We asked our sales rep if the car had been inspected (yes) and if there were any parts that would need repair or replacement soon (no). I didn't think to take the car to an independent mechanic before purchasing it because I thought a dealership valued its reputation too highly to sell a defective car, or at least to fail to disclose a significant repair issue. Shortly after purchase, I noticed that the shocks seemed damaged and took it to two reputable service departments to take a look. Both said that the rear struts were broken and leaking and would need to be replaced. The second service department where I took the car said that the dealership should absolutely have caught that issue in an inspection, and that it had clearly been an issue at the time of sale.
When we explained the issue to the dealership and asked them to help, the management insisted that the car had been fine when it had been inspected. Eventually, they offered to replace the struts at a discounted rate (using the employee discount). Given that the price was significantly higher than a local quote and this arrangement would also require a long drive from Austin, we asked if instead the dealership would be willing to donate the parts, and I would get the labor done less expensively elsewhere. The value of the parts is considerably less than the value of the employee discount, so this should have been a win-win - setting aside the fact that the whole problem was due to an issue the dealership failed to disclose. And yet - the management refused.
If I'd known this car would have required such an expensive repair, I would certainly not have purchased it. If you buy a used car from this dealership, learn from my experience and get it checked out by an independent mechanic first!
If I could give this review less, then I would. This is not how I initially viewed Lost Pines Toyota but this past week experience was so troubling that it seemed unreal. I never hardly review but I felt this was necessary, especially with all else that is happening in our world. On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, I went to Lost Pines Toyota in Bastrop, Texas to obtain a rental. The rental was available to me due to a third party causing damage to my auto, so they made arrangements to rent from here. I went in an spoke to Sherri Williams, the rental manager and she prepared he paperwork. I found it strange that she tried to get me to sign the credit card receipt for the company that rented the car on my behalf and then found it strange that Scott Liriano, who normally works in the service department was lurking over her shoulder as if she didn't know what to do. He is also the son of the Owner/CEO Carlos Liriano. The biggest problem was when I returned the car on Friday, April 24, 2020 before 10:00am. I had spoken with someone before who informed me that they would work out a courtesy ride home since my spouse had an appointment at the Veterans hospital. We are only about eight minutes away by car. I had to turn the car in with Scott, he checked it out and then told me there was no ride home. We all know that COVID-19 is real but several people as we know took advantage of this time and blamed a lot on it and he used the excuse. Scott wasn't happy that someone had told me about the ride home and instead of trying to find a resolution, he was more interested in who told me that. He became very unfriendly, distant and arrogant. He says there was no one to take me yet there were guys walking around twiddling their thumbs, just bored. I asked if his Father, Carlos was in because my previous encounter with his father was quite different. He says Carlos was not there, he is my father and if I wanted him to give him a message.(in that do you know who I am voice) I told Scott that I am 58 years old and would make contact myself. Carlos came into the Bastrop community around 2011 and he always seems to make being in the community part of his business. Although he was about business, he always remained humble, worked to increase the minority support and respectful. Scott is quite the opposite. He seemed puffed up, as though he was better and beyond the next human being with his self righteous and entitled attitude. Never the less, I didn't get the ride home and therefore walked. Like Carlos, my family has contributed a lot to this community in time, money, talent. We are a military family of twenty years who sacrificed and compromised. The treatment I received that day from Scott who represented this company was obnoxious and made me feel nauseous. He needs to see people for people. Come back down to level. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF THIS IS THE MIND SET OF HOW YOU INTERACT This is not a very Professional, courteous, respectful way to treat people, especially in your community or even this day and time. There are times going the extra mile to help people is necessary. The world is changing and we must change too.
Thank everyone who helped my mother and I on our trip from Houston to Austin this weekend. We had a blow out tire in Bastrop and I called Lost Pines Toyota who came out roadside and changed to the spare for us. After the new tire was on they followed us to the dealership a mile or so away and checked out the rest of the tires and under the hood at NO charge just to make sure the rest of our trip was safe. When I am ready for another Camry I will drive to Bastrop to buy it. You just don't get service like that anymore.
Went in to buy a pre-owned Tacoma. Had a great experience with everything. Customer service was phenomenal and paper work went smoothly. A few hours and we were out of the dealership in our new Tacoma. We will be back for another purchase.
I was driving across state and needed my brakes and tires fixed/replaced before continuing my journey. Some friends in the area recommended Lost Pines Toyota for their excellent service, saying this was the place I needed to go! I was hesitant to go to a dealership just for service, expecting to be broke by the time they got done. Boy was I wrong! Lost Pines Toyota was great! Sincerely friendly throughout the store, knowledgeable about what products were truly best and why, and quick service, without rushing carelessly through the work. A truly EXCELLENT group of people, I am grateful for the recommendation and HIGHLY recommend anyone to visit the "family" of Lost Pines Toyota for service or any auto needs they have. And I had more than enough money to load up at Buc-ee's for my road trip munchies ;)
This place will never get business from me ever again! Drove from Austin after talking to someone about a truck for a few days. When I finally get there the truck was sold that same day with no notice. After all that they did get me in a truck close to the price. Since leaving with the truck I've attempted to get a hold of the finance department several times with voice mails. No one has called me back once!
Extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile our sales person Russell was willing to work with us at every road block and was very nice the whole process would recommend to anyone will probably be back for future car purchases!
There really isn't a central, clear-cut area where you're supposed to go if you need an oil change or any other "drive-in" maintenance once your car is parked. I had a co-worker with me (he and I both work in customer service) and we were both surprised at how bad the service was. We stood in the middle of the garage for nearly 10 minutes clearly confused and lost (no pun intended). We were passed by numerous employees who gave us nothing but weird looks. Finally, a man who had ignored us before, finally asked us what we needed. Once we finally got my car in line for service, I felt as though I was the one who had to maintain communication with the employees. They didn't get my contact information, so I had to hunt them down so I could give them my number, so I could leave (the wait was about an hour and a half). Even when I was finally ready to pay, the employee who was checking me out obviously didn't take the time to even lightly skim my maintenance sheet before I got there. He said everything looked fine, until he read a little further down to reveal that I was actually in need of new tires. Overall, I felt like I was a burden to the staff at Lost Pines.
I would never recommend this dealership! I was in the process of buying a used vehicle from them, just waiting for the final approval to go through from my lender... And this dealership just sells it to someone else while leading me to believe that we were just waiting on the process! Had been working on this deal for a whole week, and they couldn't wait another day or 2?!?! That's just jagged and piss poor business! Name of salesman... Dustin Cavazos.Wow this post has to get worse... Dustin keeps texting me acting like I'm the bad guy. Manager never contacted me... This dealership is a joke! Dustin text me saying.. I'm sorry you didn't get the truck you wanted.. now you are acting like a 5 yo he says. I spoke with other dealers around my area and they all say... If a deal is going down...that truck is moved to the back til said deal is done. Only way a good business is run.
