They reassure you that they are doing the best they can for the animals BUT actions speak louder than words. The poor gorillas look bored and exhausted, the chimpanzees lost. Set the animals free, it's okay if their injured in my opinion but to keep them captive for life is heartless and the amount of guilt I felt for them is unbelievable. Let them have their freedom! Humans dont always know what's best!!

Where to start OMG reviews on this page are just a example of how pathetic humans have come to. They keep Orca s in captivity while humans on the other side enjoy their suffering !!???? Parrots have cages size of a complete joke. They can barely even spread their beautiful wings inside. I ve personally 6 parrots & I know what kind of care and attention they needs. I m truly sorry for those poor birds which are being kept in their to these filthy parks can earn money. Orca s are smartest species on water animals. They ve even strong sense of emotions than humans. They capture these beautiful creatures and separate their families. To us, it doesn t feel any bad because we re ignorant. If you think my comment here is childish than watch blackfish documentary. I m truly ashamed I even visited this park out of my ignorance but I hope it meets its demise soon & all those poor animals can go in wilds & live freely. And as for people who argue that, they re being kept there because they re endangered or about to extinct then ask yourself what is wrong with you ? Why they re endangered in first place ? It s because of US humans and yet you think we can save them ? Also we can not stop the nature. Just completely shattered my heart when I saw those Orcas. Just ask yourself, would you be willing to let yourself be captured by other superior race for their entertainment?
Had a wonderful 1st time at Loro Parque and would happily go again in the future. There's something there for everyone and the animal shows they have throughout the day are well worth a watch. It was lovely and clean and the food wasn't badly priced considering the location. We would definitely return if we holiday again in Tenerife.
Excellent day out! Recommend the discovery tour highly, the guides are very knowledgable and speak multiple languages. The shows are excellent and you can tell the keepers really care for the animals. It is also very clean, I can see why it's been voted best zoo in the world!

Beautiful wildlife park, it's like stepping into a different world. The shows are the main attractions here; Dolphins, Orcas and Sealions. All have a different atmosphere but all will entertain and educate. This is certainly one, if not the best wildlife park we've ever experienced.
Loved Loro Park. Plenty to see and the animals where happy, had plenty of room and a very clean park. Amazing to see Red Panda's.
Must see - the whale show. That was something amazing. Dolphins also were realy good. We missed the aquarium and will be back again after some time.

Awesome and amazing experience, never expected to see the orcas and dolphin show at Loro Park but we did and we have so much fun. But have to really go early as it is far from where we stayed, and only few hours tour until it's time go home again. It's a bit of a rush but otherwise highly recommended.
I had my reservations about the park before I visited, but I took part in the guided tour with the behind he scenes and I was absolutely delighted to have my reservations completely reversed. Everyone who works in the park are absolutely incredible. The care of the animals to give them the best life they can is to be commended. The conservation and dedication to our climate through the positive work done here is amazing. Keep up the good work everyone.

Amazing place to visit! One of the top destinations in Tenerife! Price of the ticket can be slightly lower, but it is still worthless! Fully recommeded.
Wish i could rate it a 0. Dolphins kept in chlorinated bowls, performing tricks for food. Stolen from the ocean and their family, never to be free again. Google Taiji dolphin drives to see how these beautiful cetaceans end up here. Beautiful ones selected for captivity, the rest of the pod slaughtered for meat or fertiliser. Watch 'The cove'. There is no freedom in stolen beauty.
Great place for the kids, the dolphins and killer whale show fantastic. Get into the splash zone and be prepared.
Loved it shows are amazing except the Dolphin one which isn't as good but still good. Don't sit at the front for the Whale show or you will get drenched! Lots of steep hills so lots of walking hence good footwear required. Only criticism some of the enclosures are tiny. Food very reasonable prices compared to the other attractions. If the rest of Tenerife was as good as Loro Parque we would be coming back but unfortunately it isn't. Loro Parque, Aqualand and Jungle Park made our holiday without them we would have come home early cos the beaches are rubbish.
Absolutely fantastic lots to see and do great for everyone.
Loved this place! We stayed at the south of the island and made the journey up to the North purely for this. Have every animal you can think of, the killer whales was a highlight for me as you don't see that every day! Well looked after park and definitely a full day needed. My only negative would be I feel the footpaths could do with being a foot or 2 wider. Feels like the park was built not equipped for mass, and with how many they let in each day, it makes you feel very crammed in. A must visit when going to Tenerife nonetheless!
A decent zoo with some awesome shows. An easy way to spend 6 to 7 hours. Decent priced food and drink.
A great zoo. I recommend the following:
- that you arrive there when they open (not later than 9:00) so you can find a parking spot quickly
- plan your visit ahead. You can find the schedule for all the shows on the website or leaflets diatributed around town. If you go without a plan, you can end up spending ALL DAY there. We saw all the shows and visited the park in 6 hours without running or missing anything
- you can enter the park with water and snacks so no need to pay the overpriced water and snacks inside
- we felt sorry that that we didn't get the "exclusive pass" - you get a 2 hour backstage pass of the zoo and it's really interesting but we found out about it when leaving.
- when going to the whale show, make sure you don't sit in the SPLASH ZONE as that will be the end of your visit. As a bad joke, they charge you 3 for a waterproof bag that kind of protects you from the splash.

Been there twice (2007 & 2017) and enjoyed it a lot both times!
Was good, but not great. Went to jungle park previously and preferred it to Loro. Went a week before peak and was queuing most of the day for viewing windows, and even just trying to get past "funnel" points. I love their message, however far too many people!
Not bad, but overpriced. Really enjoyed Orca show.
Might suggest Jungle Park as viable alternative.

Amazing day out! Not a bug fan of whales and dolphins in captivity but the rest of the place was great! Fantastic penguin exhibit, great parrot breeding facilities too!
Loro park is one of the best zoos I have been in Europe, plenty of animals of all sorts (specially parrots and other similar flying animals). Spending a full day in the park is definetly worth it and a must if you go to Tenerife .
If you need to eat in the park, I recommend Casa Pepe, traditional Canarian food, a bit more expensive than the other places but way better and authentic.
And don't miss the events that are programmed during the day, plan your stay in the park accordingly!

One bad point Loro park is built on a hill.
So if you have baby buggy or a person that uses a wheelchair it very difficult to push around all day.
So make sure you have help to push baby buggys or wheelchairs.
Loro park is wheelchair accessible.
And the staff do look after people with disabilities very well.

Beautiful park, lots of facilities. The park does conservation work, especially parrots, as Loro in Spanish means parrot. There's also orcas and dolphins which do a 20min show. You can have a tour which lasts for approximately an hour and a half which takes you behind the scenes it costs 11per person. Wheelchairs, manual and electric, can be hired. Manual chairs are free with a refundable deposit of 30, be warned though there are some steep inclines. I had 2 lovely gentlemen help me with my mother, very grateful to them. Plenty of food outlets, well worth a visit

Loro parque is beautiful. The killer whales is sad tho. They do not treat them well. On the other hand, the dolphins, and seals are very very beautiful and happy. The snow tiger seems to be as well. It's a nice place and worth the visit. Even tho I want people to be happy upon visiting, i would like them to stop by and realise the abuse of the killer whales. They need 100 kilometres of swim space. They ones in captivity don't even have a 1 half. I need people to see why we need to be more carefull with what animals we capture and which ones should be free. Dolphins are proved to be happier and less stressed in captivity, because they know they are safe and in good hands, killer whales destroy their teeth and fins because they are captured. The park is worth a visit, a place where you can see all the good parts, but some of the cruelty of this world too. A perfect mix of salt and sugar

Top place, we was there 6 hour's and there was still more attractions we didn't see. You can take food with you but it is quite cheap anyway or you can leave the park and eat out, then just go back in. I will be going back again

We loved this park, everything is within a short walking distance. My 3 Yr old daughter enjoyed all the shows there like parrot, sea lions etc.
Top! My opinion, best animal park. The shows (orcas, dolphins, sealions, ...) are a must. Very spectacular. Prices indoor for food/drank are normal. Nice cages, animals looked very happy

Part of siam park franchise and the manage it great imo. Unbelievable, how much shows they have. Orca's show and dolphins are a must see!!! Lots of others animals and show not mentioned as theres too many to name!
Haven't been here for over 20 years and found it much improved. Plenty to see for all ages. The birds and animals are all well cared for and we particularly enjoyed the penguins.

Whole day of family fun. Loads to see and do. Great experience to see all the activities and shows. However for the sake of animals all shows are much shorter then during our previous visits and concentrate more on animal and environment preservation rather than showing off their training and tricks.

Amazing day action packed from start to finish make sure to go early so you can beat the crowds would recommend you pay a little extra for the premium ticket so your seats are reserved and lunch is covered, can't stress enough on getting there early we were the 8 hours and just managed to see everything but you can pay another 13 euros to return a second day which is well worth the money

Absolutely brilliant and well constructed zoo and open bird park. This was one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend the awesome Orca show. The trainers have done a spectacular job.
i don't like zoo's, but this one was something different. i'm glad that they do things to save endangered species. i liked jellyfish aquariums and all kind of birds. also, dolphins show are amazing. i recomend to come here with childrens

Amazing zoo, really interesting shows with lots of great conservation facts and some very nice enclosures. I was particularly impressed by the penguins, I ve never seen an enclosure done so nicely for them.
Amazing zoo and botanical garden. Definitely worth the ticket price, we got the Siam Park and Loro Park for 64. Beware of people in the middle of the road, trying to get you to park on a side street and asking for money. Parking is free at Siam, and 4 for the whole day at Loro. Pricewise, Siam is decent, but won't allow you to bring food in, while Lolo is a bit pricey but will allow you to bring food. We didn't but I've seen a lot of people with lunch packs. Both of them have plenty of shade.
Loro park was one of the most interesting and fun places i have visited in a while. The ticket price may be a bit pricey, but it is well worth it. The animals are cute and there is soo much to see that you better take the whole day to enjoy that place fully. My top to go places!
"Must visit" on Tenerife, in Spain and world :) . Impressive design, set of shows(repeats few times a day) with parrots, killer whales, etc. One whole day may be enough to check all points (if well planned and adjusted for show schedule).
Nice and clean jungle park. Dolphin, whale and sea lion shows are worth watching. Please bring your own food as they have very limited food facilities.

The perfect place to spend some time with your familly. You can visit without any rush all shows, eat at one of many food courts and also watch all the animals that are on display and of all these activities in one day.
