Great location near the inner harbor, room was very clean and comfortable. Not the most updated hotel, but worth the price being so close to everything and still affordable. Close to the light rail. Should be comfortable with a city environment if you stay here.

Ah, this was ok. Pro - it was spotlessly clean. The place was scrubbed and I had no qualms about staying here or using the facilities, or eating at the bar. One of the cleanest hotels I ve been at in a long while. The food was mostly good; I was there for a conference and ate the conference food those days and one to-go out of the bar. The vegetarian mushroom options were really tasty. Yummy treats, too. I ordered the Mac and cheese from the bar, and it was good.

Con - some of the dudes working the front counter. When I checked in, I was not given any info about the hotel. I was told my room number, and that was it. I wasn t told where the food areas were. I know there was a bakery or restaurant, but I never went there. I saw the bakery, but I never figured out where the restaurant was. Except for ordering the to-go from the bar, I chose to walk to other restaurants. I never found the fitness room. No directions or maps, or even hotel info was available in the room. Would it have killed them to state a few sentences about where amenities were? That would have been helpful. The most info about the hotel was in the elevators, but that was all historical.

Generally, this was an ok experience, but I ll likely stay somewhere else if I ever return to Baltimore.

Worst hotel ever. Won t give me my 50$ incidental room fee back !? Horrible place. Took 1.5 hours to check in. They still have not given me my 50$ back. I keep calling and they have some excuse. The Arab at front desk got smart with my wife. Awful place. Crooks

My wife, baby and I tried to go to the sky bar at about 5pm. We asked about it at the ground floor, were directed to the slow elevators, and once upstairs were told at the bar that no one under 21 is allowed. Although it is the hotel bar's prerogative to reject a family with a baby, it would have been useful if that policy had been made clear before we made the trek to the top.

I checked in late Sunday March 1st and checked out Tuesday morning as scheduled and reserved for those days. This morning Im wriiting because upon check it I gave the rep 2 cards a credit card for my incidentals and a debit card for my payment. Since leaving I have had to call back several times for billing issues and over charges. Today Front desk rep Tom was very rude. Please review your 630am call log. I would the Baltimore accounting dept to correct their issues and STOP CHARGING MY DEBIT CARD. I will complain to the BBB. Train the valet staff to stop fliting with guess and be sure wash cloths are available before reserving the room. Coaching the staff that customers arent MAD they're frustrated when veing over charge for almost $145 for a night not rendered.

Service was good the staff was nice. Building is historic but does a nice job blending the old with the new renovations. The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. It has a bar, a restaraunt and a bakery (none of which we used). There is valet parking. Location is pretty good with about a 10 minute walk to national harbor although closer to some of the stadiums.

No ghosts. 5 stars for that alone, as I needed to sleep.

Rooms are older, but very clean and beautiful. The building is gorgeous! There's some city noise from the older windows at night. It's not too bad if you're on one of the upper floors. Great stay!

Very dark and gloomy place. Little natural sunlight as the windows are so small. However, some people are into that sort of thing. The room was dated but clean. Biggest complaint was the water temperature. It changed constantly, assumingly depending on other rooms' use. Thankfully I am not diabetic but someone with impaired sensation could really get scalded because one minute you have it set the way you want it, and the next someone flushes a toilet and it is burning hot. It may be an inconvenience for some, but it could be a safety concern for others.

Having worked for Hilton for years, I know how things should be done in a respectful hotel... So, I will start with the pleasant; but few, positive things about this hotel. The lobby is beautiful, the price reasonable (though we were part of a group rate), and bartender very accommodating. Also, the valet service is reliable and very pleasant to work with, and pretty affordable considering surrounding parking options.

With that being said, I would like to flash a warning to out-of-towners (especially with small children) looking for a safe and quiet place to stay. My son, my fiance and I stayed here for two nights, either of which we got ANY sleep. It was a weekend, so a little noise was to be expected. A little noise is not what occurred. The first night there was a brawl in the hallway, which started at 2am. I called the desk to report it. They informed me security was on the way. The noise did not, however, stop. It got louder and louder and kept my 2 year old son up until 6am, then he awoke again at 7am. I was extremely frustrated but forgiving, as situations happen.

Night 2: I settled into bed around 10pm with my baby boy sleeping quietly and fell asleep myself around 11pm. 11:15 pm rolls around and i hear screaming and door slamming from the room across ours. Shortly after, I hear security knock on the door. This happens THREE TIMES by 12:30 am (security and all). I called the front desk and informed them I was calling the police if I was disturbed again. (Most hotel protocol is 3 strikes and security calls police). 12:45 am rolls around and our room phone rings. I attempt to answer to keep the very loud ringer from waking my son. I could not dial out so in my fit of rage I got dressed and headed for the lobby to ask who rang my room, thinking the neighbor was upset because she saw me complain to the security guard about her noise. The lady at the desk informed me it was her who called. At 12:45am!!!! After I informed her I had a baby sleeping and this was the second sleepless night. Hotel etiquette is no calls after 9pm ESPECIALLY from staff. She said she just wanted to be sure I wasn't getting the police involved. How professional of her. Finally, around 1:15 the noise stopped for good. Maybe they finally took me seriously.

If you are visiting Baltimore for a party filled night, by all means, this is your place. However, if you have a family and want some rest for an early morning and long day with a tired child.... DO NOT STAY HERE! This is coming from someone who worked for Hilton and Marriott for years. This hotel does not follow security or etiquette guidelines. Our ending bill for two nights was $350 for room and parking only and it felt like a $35 red roof in drug-dealers paradise.

The hotel was beautiful and historic, within walking distance of plenty of Baltimore's gems like Poe's grave (which we visited on his birthday) and the inner harbor. Everyone was very friendly and the room was pretty basic but very comfortable for 2 adults. I think the smallest bed size was a queen. The hotel has a parking garage where it's 15 bucks every time you want to take your car out and that was kind of weird but still possibly cheaper than trying to park anywhere else downtown. It wasn't too bad thanks to walking and uber. Stayed there 3 nights, would stay there again.

Location is good and convenient, the service is also nice. They charge 50 for early check in which is not reasonable. The wall between the room is totally useless, you can hear people shouting talking and watching TV all the time. Try to avoid if you want to live in a quiet place.

Stayed at tis hotel for a company meeting. The hotel was not too bad, just a few problems.
1. If you are here for a meeting the business center is, well do not expect anything. The computers do not work, you cannot print anything and when you try to get your email, well that's a joke.
2. Placed wake up call for two days in a row with the front desk. Did not get wake up calls.
3. Maids kept coming into the room early in the morning, even when I had the DO NOT ENTER sign on the door, almost got caught naked.
4. Service in the Tavern was really bad. Our group went down the street to an Irish pub and got the kind of service this hotel should be offering.
5. The breakfast at this hotel is real bad, the service was poor and the staff I met seemed not to give a dam about the guests, it was too much trouble for them even to refill my coffee.
6. I gave this place one star and the only reason I did that was because the service and personality of the people in the coffee shop. They were great.

I have stayed ay this place many times in the last four years, but am recommending to our company that they should find a decent hotel/conference center to hold the next venue at. The hotel used to have some great employees, but for some reason they are all gone.
A quick word to the General Manager. Keep the good people you have, because you are just cutting your own throat and helping to ruin a great hotel...

We stayed two nights at the Lord Baltimore. It was a great location, we enjoyed the live piano bar in the evenings, and the bakery had great coffee, and breakfast and lunch options for us to pack for the day. The valet team were helpful - we forgot something in our car and had a mixup finding it, but they were super helpful (and funny!) as we sorted it out. We also forgot a small item in the room after we checked out, and a member of their security team, Josh, went the extra mile to get it back to us. Highly recommend! The people on staff make this place worth it!

A Wow experience!! My friend and I walked in to the Lord Balitmore Hotel after several hours of searching for a hotel to spend the night near the Inner Habour. Our first encounter with Front Desk was Brittany, Genard and the Manger Abraham and later on the bartender Sam and the Lady Bartender, they all went above and beyond. Our room was clean, updated and the beds are comfortable! Needless to say, we enjoyed our one night at the Lord Balitmore Hotel and will definitely stay again and highly recommend Lord Balitmore Hotel.

This historic hotel is a great place to stay or have lunch and meetings!

They also strive to host conferences and yearly business events if you are looking for a local option different from the flagged hotel chain experience!

Beautifully decorated, historic charm, safe neighborhood (mostly). 3 restaurants, but no room service. Helpful, knowledgeable staff who seem to love their work. First time here, but it won't be my last.

I attended my sister in law wedding there. The location is awesome, the ballroom where the ceremony was held was very pretty, the decorator sure did do a great job. The cocktail hour was on the second floor with a view of the lobby, which made it more a public show than a private event. The ballroom to host the reception was on the third floor. This one was very pretty and luxurious. I sure will recommend this hotel for your big day.
Be careful of parking; limited parking availability forcing you for ballet parking.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. I had a one night stay and it was one night too many. Upon entering, it had this Great Gasby feel to it which I liked . When I went into the room that's when I went to a nightmare on elm street. The bathroom looked like it was from the Bates Motel. The grout in the shower was black. The bathroom sink was stopped up and there was no hot water from the bathroom sink only from the tub which was a few feet away.

What a great getaway for my husband and I! Beautiful rooms, reasonable prices. The staff service was exceptional without being unapproachable. Our server for dinner, Robin, was so very helpful and extremely sincere in her attentiveness. We even noticed that other "regulars" knew her by name and she remembered their's as well!
Great experience. Between the rooms and wonderful staff, we will definitely be staying at the Lord Baltimore again.

One of my favorites. They have 2 great bars. One is a speakeasy. Their restaurant is The French Kitchen and not only is the food absolutely delicious, it's reasonably priced as well. The rooms are lush but modern. And the hotel is in the heart of downtown Baltimore making it a very walkable choice.

The hotel is very nice and clean but I'm a little upset because I have got charged twice for my room. Once by the third party booking agency that I use and then got charged way more than what I got paid for the room once I got to the. They were supposed to be putting a $50 hold on my card and charge me full price for my room

We come to Baltimore 3 times a year and stay at the Lord Baltimore every time. It is a beautifully refurbished historic hotel that is comfortable and elegant with the friendliest staff I have encountered. It is walking distance to down town, the wharf, museums, and Edgar Allan Poe's grave site. They offer a wide selection of delicious fresh foods from 3 separate dining areas/coffee shop/ bars. We really enjoy staying here.

Classic architecture, almost Victorian with a bit of a Steampunk vibe. A piano being played in the lobby sets the atmosphere. Very detailed throughout. The Sky Bar was really pleasant. The rooms are really comfortable with more of a modern aesthetic.
