With a family of six and three different locations and ice skating all involved in our membership each month! What a great deal and the view from the workout room is to die for! Get your buff on and look at the mountains at the same time! Something you can show up with with family from all ages and let them go and they will have fun for hours.
Good family fun when outdoor activities are not an option. Affordable. But limited.
Decent staff, small work out area, pool is always crowded, changing rooms are limited.

Great facilities with tons of activities and classes.
This is my most frequented Rec center so far. It isn't mind blowing or anything, but it has more conveniences than most nearby Colorado Recs. Rock climbing wall. Gym for basketball and netted games. Weight room and track. Yoga classes, trainers and more. Steam room, sauna and hot tub. Lap pool, diving board, slides, lazy river and even a shallow pool/water monkey gym for the kids. To top it off, there's a comfy lounge with games and even a private room for parties and meetings.
Great place to take the kids swimming. They have lifeguards so you can feel much more comfortable if you're not swimming with them. The depth of the water on the kiddie side goes from 0 feet to I believe 4 feet. My kids love it. It had a fun playground right in the middle and a very large slide for the big kids. The only thing better is the prices are incredibly low! Less than $5 per kid! Babies are free!
A very fun and entertaining place to be. Keeps you occupied doing excersice.
Nice, relatively new facility. Unfortunately, lots of young children, some of them unattended and the pool area is often so loud that you cannot relax unless you are underwater. Would be great if they could separate the lap pool, the hot tub and the children's area.
I love this place! Great staff. Awesome classes and instructors. I have so much fun when I go there.
Great price for a above average gym. Main (and really only) complaint would be kids/teenagers misbehaving on the track and sometimes in the weight area.
It is a recreational center and coexistence between friends and family very good to relax a good time.
Best variety of activities you can find in all of longmont. Best swim teachers ever.

Crowded basketball courts but you can't beat the $5 drop in price.

Longmont Rec Center has a great selection of exercise, swimming and yoga classes that are included with membership. I dig the cycling class. To go along with 3 basketball courts, rock climbing wall, track, and weight room. Definitely a nice place.
Always smiling and helpful staff. My 2.5 year old daughter and I have come to use the pool ever since she was born. Has a great kids area and fun classes for kids
This is a really fun place! But you have to start cleaning up the floors in the pool room after closing hours.
Staff at the counter is always friendly and a great help, even early in the morning.
It was great! My son's birthday party turned out to be really fun.. The boys were running around loudly in the party room and since it was off to the side, nobody really heard them or was bothered by us. They had a blast! They also had a great time swimming. Only problem was no hot water for showers when we were there. Bummer!
My wife and I have an annual pass, but haven't used the recreation center since the COVID-19 pandemic. The center has since reopened with new safety rules.
Yesterday, I returned, very early (5:45 am) and things were good. The equipment was rearranged for distance and the very few people (2 visitors and 2 staff) that I saw were wearing masks. Spray bottles with sanitizer (?) and paper towels were arranged everywhere with signs asking people to wipe down equipment before and after use.
This morning, I arrived again to work out, and 4 of the 6 people upstairs were using equipment and running the track without masks, so I left. Leaving, I asked the person at the front desk if there was a mask-always policy, and she said 'yes.' I informed her most people weren't using masks and she said she would make an announcement. I didn't wait to see if she followed through, but enforcement seems pretty lax.

I have to say the funny thing about this place ,is that Everytime I go swimming is always me, my girlfriend and my kid. But yes the price is always different.

Fun at times, can be to crowded during peak times I wouldn't suggest going during peak times.
They've got a lot of things here to keep you busy. And it is free if you have silver sneakers. It is clean and well laid-out.
The main thing here is the pool. It consists of 4 main bodies of water, the kiddie pool (shallow pool for kids), the lazy river (pumps pushing around water in a circle, you dont have to move much), the diving/laps pool(There's a spot with a basketball hoop, a section dedicated to the diving board, and some lanes for laps), and the spa. It also has 2 slides, a red/purple one and a blue one, the red one is bigger than the blue one and extends outside, the blue one is smaller and you go down pretty fast, each slide goes down into a part in the lazy river. The pool is pretty loud and you have to yell to talk to people standing right next to you.
There's a lot of stuff here, including an exercise station upstairs (I haven't been there much), a court for volleyball and basketball, a rock climbing area, and much much more. There's a lot of stuff here to check out, definitely recommend
Nice, clean, newish rec center but seems to be packed frequently. Rock climbing wall, a pool with big slide, large gym with basketball, volleyball etc. They have something for pretty much everyone. Parking is limited when crowded.
Great place to go exercise. Facilities are always kept in great shape. I usually go 2 nights a week.
It was fun but people at the swimming pool had a lot of athletes foot
So so, they raised the rates, and not much for fitness classes on late day weekends
My family used to enjoy time here. But now they had one slide open, and no pools past 3ft open, not clearly stated when open swim hours were, diving board closed for lap swiming the enrire time we were there! We stayed 2 hours but could not wait as it became very boring.
Friendly, low-key, well-equipped gym. Climbing wall looks fun and pool is fantastic for kids. Child care staff and space were nice too. Great value!
Floors of the pool are a little vicious. Could use some sanding.

This is my favorite place to train. This is my favorite place to train because my friends and family help support me. Also I get my repetitions done here, for my playmaking. My dream is to be in the NBA and I'm willing to put in the work to achieve my dream. I couldn't do this if it wasnt for the rec center.
Nice pool with activities for all ages. Good indoor court for volleyball and basket ball. Only downside is that it is almost always busy and can be hard to find a parking spot.
Excelent spot . Friendly staff . 5 $/ day you can't beat that . Come and make a day outta of it . Or just come exercise before/after work . But the best part fir me it's the steam room . The whole facility is do clean and well maintained.

We come here to swim. They have a lazy river, a pretty big kids area with a water-jungle-gym, an adult pool and a couple of giant tube slides. We always have a blast
Very nice employees. Swimming, basketball, volleyball, climbing wall and more. Dollar showers on Monday and Thursday from noon until 4.
Facilities are nice, plenty of them. Pool sucks though. Too cold. Awful. Packed with too many people and no where to sit.. The hot tub is while nice, is absurdly tiny. Kids jumping in and out of it. Never will be back. Frederick's rec center pool is 100x better and that's not saying much.
This is definitely a staple of Longmont life. Located next to the museum the Rec center is popular with all age groups.
Kids love swimming here. The water tubes are so much fun. They live having swimming parties.
What a wonderful center. The locker rooms are a bit tight but Pool, Steam room, Sauna. I love this place.
The classes are great...when they have the right instructors. The others are awful, no inbetween
