Long John Silver's, LLC Review

Very confusing ordering system. Spent over $36 here & I got a few popcorn shrimp in with my batter. See pic. The shrimp were really good & really hot, but the experience was kind of ruined by the batter pieces in with a few shrimp. So with Wendy's you ask, "Where's the beef?" With LJS you will ask, "Where's the shrimp?"

Long John Silver's is my favorite fast food seafood place. I love their crispy, crunchy, and delicious dreading, and their slaw is so good I buy the family size to serve as a side addition to many family dinners. I ordered the chicken and fish platter. It was absolutely delicious. The fish, chicken, and fries were straight out of the fryer, and the pieces of chicken and fish were big and filling enough to satisfy the hardiest if appetites. I'll give this particular visit 5 well deserved stars.

Food was hot and delicious. The lady at the window was friendly and nice.

I had the thick fish and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing after a long day at work. By the way the fish was delicious.Thank you.

The food was cold. Order wasnt right. Asked for tater sauce and vinegar for 3 dinners got 2 vinegars and 2 tarter packets

The food is good, but the restaurant is not clean. Do not use bathroom.

Food and service were great. So happy they have Pepsi products and awesome coleslaw. Wish there was a LJS on the east side of Lexington.

This place is disgusting and needs to be shut down immediately! Not only are the staff rude and unprofessional, they smoke cigarettes right next to the drive thru!!! The place smells horrible, like old grease and cigarettes! The place looks old and dusty, filthy tables with crums everywhere! Someone should nuke this location. Or at least get new works there. Oh, my food was cold, stale French fries....worst experience ever! Don't eat here!

Hushpuppies where hard as concrete. I made the mistake in ordering extra. Just threw my money away

Did not care for the service and the amount of food you get for the price is not ok. And there is only one in Lexington so its expected much more of

My grand daughter says long John Silver's is great.

Food was good. Portions were good. Service was a bit slow and they had a tv in the dining area. Asked to mute it as we couldn't really carry on a conversation. Turned tv down a little bit still too loud. Would've given 5 stars otherwise.

Best fast food place on Versailles road. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

The food is solid and people are cool, but bear in mind that staff aren't always free enough to detail clean due to business.

Was going to give it a good review well then i went in there to eat just now and it was awful! The cashier Brian was a complete jerk and even went as far as to talk about me when he thought i had left the counter.....ppl like that need to know your working in public with the public so act like you should in public! Wow some ppl astonish me! PLEASE check ur employees!

Crack head manager couldn't even get a simple order right from 3 people in front of me and messed up my order too! Then I got to listen to her and another girl loudly gossiping about an employee while I was eating!

Always good for a quick seafood fix. Ring the bell!

This is a place I go with my family. The staff is always super nice, and it's always clean.

Good hush puppies, cashier was very helpful and patient as I had no clue what I wanted.

This is one of last remaining Long John Silvers that is not an A&W. Classic LJS fish and sides, the tray of crumbs and who could resist the Deep Fried Twinkies.

This place is a good place to eat in if you like fish come here fish and chicken I like both

The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years but this is still a local favorite. Glad they kept the dining room decorations the same. I worked here from 03-05 during the renovation and was worried they'd change it too much. Still feels like home when I eat here. Hot food and the kids working inside were friendly enough. KFC, pizza hut, burger king, and Arbys (replaced by Taco Bell) all died but LJS remains a historically significant place to stuff your face. Fun Fact: The world's first Long John Silver's was on Southland Drive in the building now occupied by Fantasia Salon by the train bridge.

It was an excellent experience and great food! The manager did a great job of checking on customers and making sure they were very satisfied.

although the product was hot, it was cooked in old non filtered oil... don't give enough condiments when asked for.

Loved it went thru drive & she was so nice...not her fault at all but did not get our shrimp???? Would come back anytime..everyone makes mistakes....

Ordered 2 piece fish meal and had to pay extra for drink in addition to combo meal price. Fish were some kind of battered fish mush about 1/4 inch thick. No meaty flaky texture. Tried to get lemonade. It was mostly water. Tried Fruit punch and it was the same thing. Fries are not made from whole potatoes. The total was $8.88 which is outrageous. Customer behind me could not get any tarter sauce. Very disappointed. Will not eat here again.

Stay away from this place Everytime you order thru the drive thru you never get the entire order and evedintly the workers have to pay for sauce if you even get sauce you get 2 packs of tarter sauce for a 3 piece fish meal Everytime I order I ask at the window repeat my order they do it right then when I get home I don't ever have my order I would say I have been screwed out of at least 20 bucks in the last 4 months at this place

Food is always good .I don't eat fish very much but when I do long John is my favorite

Lady cooking been complaining over and over..being loud talking bad about manager and restaurant saying she's going to walk out. Said manager don't know how to schedule..on and on...id say let her walk..bad image we won't be back here !

They put ice in my drink when I asked for it without, gave me coleslaw instead of onion rings, and made me turn around and come back when they forgot to give me my drink in the first place.

Great place to eat a fish dinner and only one left in Lexington Kentucky.

Ask for tarter sauce for a to go order, and ask if it was in bag when order put through the window and was told it was when we got home there was no tarter sauce in bag or in the fish sandwiches.

This is the last Long John Silver's left in its founding City of Lexington Kentucky. The food is good which includes deep fried fish and chips and also what they call Chicken planks which is also deep fried chicken with the fish batter on the outside. They have other seafood specialties such as crab cakes and shrimp as well as some grilled items such as salmon and shrimp.

I don't go there to often but when I do its always a great atmosphere and the food is always good and fast.

Will not go again. Had a coupon 2 can dine for $9.99. Listed 5 choices, including 8 pc shrimp (grilled or fried) and grilled salmon. However, when I got there I was told I could only use the coupon for 2 pc. fried fish or 3 pc chicken. Would not honor the coupon for the shrimp or salmon.

Delicious traditional Long John's fish and fries, however, the men's room needs some attention.

Service was lousy! No customer service at all. Cant figure money right!
