The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years but this is still a local favorite. Glad they kept the dining room decorations the same. I worked here from 03-05 during the renovation and was worried they'd change it too much. Still feels like home when I eat here. Hot food and the kids working inside were friendly enough. KFC, pizza hut, burger king, and Arbys (replaced by Taco Bell) all died but LJS remains a historically significant place to stuff your face. Fun Fact: The world's first Long John Silver's was on Southland Drive in the building now occupied by Fantasia Salon by the train bridge.
