I eat there all the time but this time the chicken was awful, like it was old and way over cooked, the crust on the outside of the chicken was really dark brown and really hard, the inside was dry and tough, I guess if they spent as much time preparing the food as they do giving it away to certain people it would've been as good as it always was, I'm not gonna eat there again...
I've been there a couple times I always try to give them a chance but they always fail they never give you no french fries even when you ask for them they act like they put some in the box but they don't they give you enough for a baby

Food was decent, but the restaurant was filthy and sticky with old grease. The lady in charge was barking orders, and the young man at the counter was oblivious to everything. I'd recommend if you want a greasy spoon kind of experience - but NOT if you want to eat peacefully or quickly. Hit the drive through.
They were closing in 15 minutes and the drive thru lights were off. We had been on the road all day and was starving. The guy went ahead and took our order. Very polite and respectful young man. He was honest and said what we ordered would take about 5 or 6 minutes to cook, even closer to closing time, but he assured a quality product and nice experience. Highly recommend.
It's the last one we have here and i love the chicken, fish, and fries there...
Can never seem to get the order right. Check before you leave.
Update: on my visit today, I asked the manager on duty to replace the $1 item that was missing from my order last visit. He asked me if I called. I told him that when you call it goes to a fax machine. He said he didn't see how. I asked him if he was going to replace the piece of fish and he said no, that they cannot just give away food. Excuse me? Give away food? I paid for the food and didn't get it.
I asked if this was his final decision and he said yes. I said well here goes $25 worth of business out the door.
More so, I will never spend another dime at this location so long as Nate works there. Furthermore, I will tell everyone who comes in my store about my experience
The last Long Hohb Silver's in Lexington Ky or surrounding areas. Has the best Chicken and hush puppies which I suggest with Tatar sauce.
The food was more greasy then usual the onion rings were just awful the cashier was nice

Great friendly place to dine, the employees is super nice and the food is great too.... No Mexicans working here makes it a super place to stop in or use drive thru at least we're paying American workers.....
I waited around 20 minutes for my food and they were not busy but other than that it was a good visit

The girls at this place were so sweet and played with my 2 yo. It wasn't busy when me and my mother went for lunch there. It was clean and comfortable.

This is one of just a couple of LJS restaurants left in Lexington and I will drive from the other end of town to eat here. The best fish and seafood bar none and at a greater price too. Yum yum come get you some.
I have zero complaints about this place. I love everything on the menu. Always fresh and hot. They always give me plenty of condiments and napkins which is important to me. They are friendly and fast.

Absolutely the nastiest fish restaurant in town. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses and close the door forever. They should be a shame to serve that food to the public!!!

Went through the drive thru. Food was good , need to turn all the outside lights on because it looked like it was closed.
No crunchies. I thought LJS gave customers "some" but apparently not this location. Not unless you specifically request them. My mac n cheese was lukewarm, my husband's was ice cold & inedible. LJS did give him a fresh mac n cheese & apologized. The chicken planks were hot & tasty, as was the fish my husband had.

Arrived and asked if they accepted digital coupons they said yes I said is this coupon the same as that on the board they said yes so I said I want that they said what side do you want I said it says it comes with two sides they said no it's different after trying to communicate with these people for a while I went ahead and ordered I only got one side so it wasn't a coupon at all I picked macaroni and cheese I literally only got like 3 bites of macaroni and cheese very sad worst Long John Silver's I have been to
