Nice place for an afternoon visit. My favorite attractions were the butterfly room where they fly around freely as you walk through the space and the stingray pool where you can pet/feed baby stingrays.

Omg had the best birthday experience there. Definitely do one of the one on one animal experiences if you are a fan. We picked the penguin experience and it is something I will cherish forever.

Every time I come here they always do something different. The stingrays are the best.. The butterflies and the birds are amazing. Its worth the trip.. I highly recommended a nice day trip with the family or out with a few friends

WELL LET'S PUT IT THIS WAY I THOUGHT IT WAS A RIP OFF. I MEAN THERE WAS HARDLY ANY ATTRACTIONS.THE SEAL SHOW WAS THE BEST PART.I HAVE TO SAY NOT WORTH THE TRIP. EVERYTHING WAS WAY OVER PRICED FOR HAVING VIRTUALLY NO ATTRACTIONS.BUT HEY YOU MAY LIKE IT IF YOU JUST WANT TO WALK AROUND

Really cool! On the negative side, only two children's toys on the outside that swallowed the coins and when we went to complain, they said they were not working, although there was no warning

Had the time of my life visiting Long Island Aquarium on 8/3/17 , the Aquarium and exhibits itself was very amazing and interesting to see , all the staff and workers at this Aquarium were very welcoming and nice , the best part of the whole visit was the Shark Dive - what an amazingly incredible fun experience to go underwater, face to face with all those awesome sharks ,the Divemaster and guide were absolutely incredible in everything they did to make this experience once in a lifetime , I will definitely be returning again to do the shark Dive again because it was so amazing and definitely want to experience it again, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thrill seeking adventure/ experience!!! I was also able The get the whole shark Dive on video from the go pro that you can get as part of the shark Dive package !! And doing the shark Dive is very easy , it's not like regular scuba diving where you need to use a regulator to breathe underwater , it's a full face mask that you wear underwater and are able to breathe normally as you would and you could also communicate with the mask too , talking to the divemaster or guide/educator above while they are talking to you underwater about the shark and other underwater species swimming around the cage . The shark Dive at Long Island Aquarium was all together an amazing experience as well as the Aquarium itself and the sea lion show (definitely recommend as well) !!!! Thank you Long Island Aquarium and to all your staff for making my visit absolutely amazing and fun ! Great job!!!! If I could give this rating more than 5 stars I would give it 10 stars!!!!

I know they have off season prices which is only fair since many activities are outdoors, however to charge full admission price during winter break because kids are off from school and they they'll be busy is just greed.

This is a beautiful place to visit with the family. The scenery is fun to look at and the experience there is definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food isn't horrible and you can even go snorkeling with some of the sea creatures. It was exciting for me getting to see and learn about the many different types of animals in the ocean and the kids were excited about it too.

Great experience just need a little cleaning and attention to detail. Other than that it was a nice day. I suggest to eat before coming or brace yourself for $20.00 plus for over priced cafeteria food. I only bought 1 fountain drink and 5 small pieces of mozzarella sticks and 3 cold chicken strips, it came out a little less than $25.00 and almost $4.00 water bottles. Overall, butterfly house is a must we went in twice!

We purchased tickets online ($35 admission adult). You need to pick the time due to COVID19 rather than walk in. They have a parking lot a block away and $12 all day. We just found a street parking instead. The only con is their sanitizers were not working. They close at 4pm btw

This is a small but very well done aquarium. They have tons of things to do for the kids . I would say the best time to go is when it gets a little warmer outside and the outdoor part of the aquarium is more accessible.
