Our family visits frequently for local produce. As most farm stores do, there is a mix between conventional produce (shipped) and local. Seasonal produce is always local, and there are baskets, jams, honey, coffee, ice cream, popcorn, drinks, chips, sweets and other items for sale as well. EBT/Oregon Trail accepted! Goat feed (for their goats) is available for 25 cents a handful, and feeding them is always a good way to spend a few minutes. There is a really nice playground, and very popular seasonal activities, and bags of sand, gems and shells for "panning" in their man-made stream.
As a local, I advise to visit for the pumpkin patch/horse or tractor carriage ride/seasonal activities on the weekdays or early on the weekend or you will spend a large part of the day in lines.
We went this year on a Sunday and it was VERY busy. We waited an hour to ride the horse carriage, the goats and chickens were full of feed, and the wait to buy ice cream or pumpkin was 20+ line.
If you can, avoid the weekend lines. If you can't, make the best out of it because it is WORTH the experience!
Always a great place to get your seasonal things and to take family photos. We love coming out here every year for fall photos.
What a great day out there. The staff & owner Mike, we're very gracious & helpful in everything.
Fantastic location for produce, local and regional, and for family/seasonal events. Lone Pine has playgrounds, covered table areas, and animal feeding areas.
Would love to know more about where the produce comes from during my shopping experience. It is vague about the source of most items...
Great fresh produce, local honey, and friendly service.
Won't go to Lone Pine Farms EVER again! My friend slipped on some squishy fruit on their concrete floor and landed hard, hurting her hand. The owner was horribly rude and unconcerned. NO way to run a business. What's wrong with you people?
The owner was standing 4 ft. away with back to us talking to a customer. I helped my friend up and called out to owner to say what just happened and to clean up the floor. Her response was, "Well, how could she have fallen, I was standing right here?" !!!!!! She finally wiped up the squished fruit. My friend asked her for something to clean off the bottom of her shoe. Owner still being rude got a wet paper towel. Then said, "Your shoe has a slippery sole, that's why you fell"!!! Her shoe has a pebble surface hard rubber sole, NOT slippery in any way. Plus she is nearly 70. OUTRAGEOUS behavior. Wish I could post this everywhere!
I love the goats. You get to feed them for some change. Totally worth it. The atmosphere is wonderful. My only complaint is my raspberries got really mushy really fast this week. It has not always been like that. Lone Pine also has U-pick strawberry, flower, and pumpkin gardens. When I was a little girl my kindergarten class went to Lone Pine for a wagon ride field trip. Each of my son's had the same wonderful experience. This year according to the website there will be a day time corn maze. That's great but I will miss the haunted maze. Lone Pine is worth the trip. Oh ya the people have always been nice to me, even when I was at the haunted maze when I was h teenager. Go, have fun!
Great place for families to pick pumpkins, go feed the animals, play on the playground, fresh fruit and vegetables, corn maze, tractor and horse ride, great food and great staff.
Fun field trip. Nice employees. Not too far. Want haunted maze back.
Love this place just wish it still had the haunted corn maze. Guess the place is for sale as of October 10th, 2018
