A great place to get local veggies. They're very helpful. It can get pretty busy when the summer season. They have pick your own strawberries.
Love the people working there. Always friendly. The Licorice icecream is delicious and only found there in October.
Fresh produce is always good but not sure where it all comes from
Went woth the kids for school. We all had a hard time finding pumpkins over 75 percent were mushy and moldy. Very disappointing..
Loved going to Line Pine! I was super impressed with the huge variety of produce in the checkout area, and it all looked amazing (early June), and was very very reasonably priced. I really hope to go back most weekends to purchase my produce here. We loved picking the strawberries, and found the price also reasonable ($1.50/lb). Large selection in the huge patch, not too too crowded, and everyone very friendly. Wonderful experience! Only negative-not a fan of the goat or chicken area, as it was a bit zoo-like.
They don't allow therapy dogs which makes shopping for us and so many others difficult at best. Produce is great quality and written the trip and the cost. Not handicapped accessible.
We took all our kids toward the end of summer and they had a blast playing on the playground and of course feeding the goats! The goats were probably their favorite. We just took them all again last Sunday and since it's pumpkin season now the place was PACKED. With more visitors there the goats were pretty full and we didn't spend a lot of time trying to feed them this time. The wagon ride and cow train were too expensive to do with the whole family and with the place being so busy we ended up picking our kids' pumpkins from out front of the store. We managed to get through the checkout line pretty quickly both visits and both times the cashiers were very friendly. They have a really good selection of fruits and veggies. I would recommend going on a weekday if you can during pumpkin season because it is pretty chaotic on a weekend.
Wonderfulness ...I love having this farm so close to my home!! They have the best farm fresh produce!! The people who work there are so friendly and so willing to answer any questions!! I love it here
They aren't really a farm. Yeah they have lots of produce, but its not locally grown. Lone pine used to be a great farm, but over the years it has become all about the money.
It's a great place to take the kids pumpkin patching but it has gotten pricey over the years
They have a very sweet donkey named Odie, lots of sweet goats, and delicious sweet blueberries. Basically their farm is full of sweet things.
They also have baggies of goat food (alfalfa pellets) for $1, a few bunnies, a horse, several chickens, and some nice kids play equipment. You can have birthday parties and other group events too.
FOOD though seasonal, Great place to purchase food.
Strawberry pickin' at it's best! All the staff very friendly!
We always find something,! The prices are much better than most other farms. Bring on summer and the veggies! We go through withdrawals at the end of summer. Feeling so happy!
Not sure why there are so many salty reviews, just went today with my family and it was great, lots to do, good selection of pumpkins, animals to pet, hay rides and kiddy coaster pulled by an atv. They only thing bad was parking, but its to be expected. Put on your patience cap...
I love this place, the atmosphere, the products, people, produce, goats, berries, even the goats!
Spendy, watermelon was dry not sweet off products were more than what i can get at Albertsons
My only real dissatisfaction was due to the bathrooms not being stocked with soap and towels. The kids were trying to dry their hands on their clothes. Corn maze was fun, but muddy due to the rain. Nobody could help with that.
Locally grown, great produce selection, reasonable prices
Almost don't want to review, because I want to keep this place a secret! Unbeatably good produce, for insanely cheap. Not open in winter.
The owner was extremely rude. She told me to never come back. I apparently drove on a road that I wasn't supposed to drive on. She apparently tried to get me to stop, but not being from here or living in the US much, I didn't understand what was happening. I had to come back later to the place, and after I parked, she came up and told me to never come back and stormed off. She didn't even give me a chance to explain or apologize. I don't know how people like that can stay in business.
It's pumpkin patch season. The weather is sunny and warm. There are way too many people for the infrastructure here. The line to purchase a pumpkin was 30-45 minutes long. The line for a $4 hotdog was about 20 minutes and ended with me being told that they didn't have any more hotdogs. Sorry, you just wasted 20 minutes. It would have been nice if someone had put up a sign. The line to buy anything from the market looked to be another 20 to 30 minutes. When we decided that we'd had enough waiting in lines for things that really weren't worth the wait, we had to wait through parking lot traffic for another 20 minutes just to leave. It was terrible. We came here last year in a drizzle and things were reasonable. Today was a disaster. Boo LPF. Boo.
We buy all our winter storage food from here. Great people, great food, great price
Lone Pine shares such a special place in my heart. I love their fresh produce and mini market. Their produce is delicious and tastes amazing! I exspecially love their corn when it is in season! This is a great place to bring the family. If your wanting some excitement you can feed the goats or walk the corn maze during it's season!
Went for the Halloween events. It was chaotic. No real organization, or workers to help people find things. No signs pointing to event locations. Couldn't even ask a clerk with 50 people in line.
Based on the public reaction to the announcement of the cancellation of the annual haunted corn maze, it's clear that "public input" was not part of the decision process. I have no further need for a business who cannot at least be truthful about their business practices and offerings.
I'm disabled, called ahead to see if my chair would work out there since it was raining. Asked if I could go ten feet on the trail before purchasing ticket to make sure my wheelchair would work. I was told I'd have to purchase a ticket. Then I asked if I got one minute onto the trail and it was too wet, if I had to turn right around and leave, if I could get a refund. They told me absolutely not. That would be my problem not there's. I will never go back talked to and treated very rude by staff. And they are not ADA friendly regardless of what there website said!
Always my go to for THE BEST Shuskan Strawberries. Friendly staff.
FYI: When I called today (11/11/16), the telephone answering machine said that they are closed until "the end of April 2017".
A must-go every time I am in the area. My daughter and I love feeding the goats and sheep. There are various unique products, that are well-priced,available for purchase; and I do purchase every time.
This place totally reminds me of the Red Barn in Portland OR. Loved it. Will be back.
I am a regular customer because of the unbeatable prices and friendly environment. This time around, the very unprofessional manager humiliated me on front of other customers upon checking out. Prices went up since last summer. Will not be coming back. P.S. Do future customers a favor and put a clear, SPECIFIC large sign out that CUSTOMERS can see about the correct "pick your own flower" prices, and don't say a STEM is .50 cents, if you actually mean it's .50 cents PER FLOWER.
Classy, clean, unique, and fun fit the whole family.
Large selection of farm fresh food. Nice playground for the kids and a selection of animals to feed and pet.
Extensive and bustling farm stand -- they do all the fun corny things like pumpkin patches and hayrides in season, and have one half of their shop given over to "country goods" like jams, jellies, breads, etc., but I come here for the produce in the other half of the shop. Not all the produce is grown there, but all of it is excellent quality, with prices comparable to or beating the supermarkets.
So fun with goats and rabbits for the children loveit!
In season, great produce, and fun for the whole family.
Very nice & clean Good varity of produce & well displayed.
Long lines.horse drawn hay ride very short not worth $ 6.00.even that price for a 2year old
We love Lonepine farms! We go to see the animals and buy produce, mainly, but we also enjoy the play area! I wish the little train was going more often! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Not alot of animals just goats and some bunnys and way way back some horses
Easy Christmas tree location right out of town. Big enough to walk around and still have space between you and other folks who are Christmas Tree Shopping. Cheap Shake and Wrap service as well! Love our tree this year. Thanks!
It's a great farm, with great people and fresh produce all the time. The kids loved feeding the goats and seeing the fish in the pond.
Great overall experience!
Love their fresh produce there and have a ice cream cone too.
Awesome place for kindergarten field trip as well as Halloween activities.
Love taking the kids for icecream! Quality produce.
Nice farmer's market with a lot of local produce. They have Umpqua ice cream in a cone or cup at a very cheap price. Lot of pumpkins to pick from and you can either take a wheelbarrow to the pumpkin patch or ride in the tractor for $5. Nice place to visit when the weather is good.
Great family activities, seasonal berry picking, you can feed the goats, always an adventure!
One of the many good choices for farm-fresh fruits and vegetables.
Lone pine farms is a great place. We came to do our anual pumpkin pickup. And they have all the veggies and fruits we get at our farmers for less money. Thank you Lone Pine Farms
Sad to see the season end. First time going on Halloween. Thought it would be a special day. But, nope, looked like they were all packed up. Disappointed.
Love the fresh fruit and vegetables I got for a return trip to Texas.
Lots of fresh local produce, ice cream and the goats. Very kid friendly
It was ok, but did not offered what I was looking for, I did buy a scoop of ice cream.
Best place for fruits and veggies, yummy ice cream, wonderful place for the whole family. Rock panning, pet and feed the goats, a nice playground, best place to go to the pumpkin patch, best kettle corn, nice entertainment for the family, and so much more to do.
I was disappointed by the lack of local produce. Mostly imported from Washington.
Fun. We all enjoyed.
Long lines when we went, minimal portapotties, but otherwise great..
We bring a group of veterans to this place very accommodating to get to feed goats and enjoy the natural environment they have an antique tractor that's very nice to take pictures by the people are very friendly and a fantastic selection of fresh fruit and vegetables are good for you
We love to feed all the friendly goats, mining in the sluice, picking our own pumpkins the list go's, this is a fun farm for kids.
A lovely way to spend a few hours with friends, but the no water policy was awful! That's a long time to spend out in the sun with children without water. This policy will have to change for us to return.
The strawberries in the u pick are amazing. They are nothing like those awful strawberries in the grocery stores that are tasteless and tough, woody even. These are soft, sweet and juicy. Perfect for jam or just popping in the mouth. Only complaint about Lone Pine, it's just a little pricy. (But I think they take EBT cards.) Other than that, love it. And the kids love the goats also.
A great place for family outings. Go to the corn maze, visit the pumpkin patch, feed the goats, shop for fresh local produce and other goods. Lone pine has more things to do, though the aesthetic could be improved.
Ca ' the t s s a t. The c .
So much to do. Kids and adults have plenty to see and enjoy.
This place is great. I went there with family for an Arts and Crafts fair. Produce was great. My grandson lived the goats.
Love that they have a little bit of everything. We enjoyed our first real patch last year went 5 times! and can't wait to go back. Love the variety of of produce, honey and ice cream! Very lovely friendly people.
Great place great people. Jus wish they would grow or order gooseberry's.
All I wanted to do was enjoy the haunted corn maze one last time before shipping out to Marine Corps bootcamp, but NOOOOOOO. I guess I'll have to shop at Thistledown from now on. What a shame.
Inefficient waste of time, I came here with my kids so they could go to the pumpkin patch and stuff. I needed a coffee so I waited in line for half an hour only to get to the front and see a microscopic cash only sign. Even though people were paying with cards @ the same counter. If they had a proper sign that I could have seen before getting in line I wouldn't have wasted 30 minutes in a line for no damn reason. I would have given 1 star or no stars if it weren't for my kids atleast having fun while I waited for-effing-ever.
