Central location within walking distance to most of the top attractions with metro connections to blue, yellow, red lines. Inside the plaza is a large food court popular with local office workers and tourists alike, best quick bite around the Mall area with spacious seating, clean restrooms and a host of the usual food franchise such as Subway and Panda in addition to a myriad of smaller local eateries.

As a bus driver in DC, I'm always looking for new food courts. This was pretty good. I didn't expect it to be as bright. The selection was pretty good. Five of us came in 10 minutes before closing and we all found something to eat. if you like to park above the train tracks there are spaces there. It's only two blocks off of the mall. It's not far from the waterfront.

Plenty of options to choose from to eat and shop. There is something for every palette and diet. It's a comprehensive mall for the downtown DC area th at is close to the Smithsonian museums and Aboretum.

Is it surprising place to go. With a food court and shopping to boot. Only problem is it's expensive the park there. Although there are public parking on the outside. But unfortunately there's not that much of that.

Great indoor food court to cool off and have your choice at food. Wish we had known about it a few days earlier in our trip to DC. The L Enfant metro station has many entrances nearby.

The shops did close early (7pm) especially for a Friday night.

We used this to park to stop and visit the National Mall and Museum area. It was a nice safe place to park, prices moderate, and not too far to walk. On the plus side there were some shops and restaurants to stop at if we needed to. It even had a public restroom which made it nice. It was a fairly hot day and having the car undercover kept it cool.

Home to the new International Spy Museum and steps away from the SW Waterfront. A free neighborhood shuttle service is available for all consisting of four stops, including the L'Enfant Metro Station.

Pictures from digital section of spy museum. The spy museum is in a new location at L'enfant Plaza a few blocks from the mall just across the street from the US Postal service HQ building. The Spy museum has a great collection of artifacts that were actually equipment used by spys. It has displays that illustrates the history of spying from ancient times to more recent happenings. It also features an interactive activity where you are immersed into a variety of spy craft activities which is very fun. Be prepared for walking and a lot of reading.

Very nice, clean, and the part I liked the best is the Metro Orange, Blue, and Silver lines pick up and drop off here. If you used these Metro colors to get to the Smithsonian the L'Enfant Plaza is a great place to end the day and eat. We ate at one of two food courts here and headed back to Vienna on the Orange line after peak time which is 7pm. This worked very well for my family and me, hopefully this is helpful.

We parked on the hill, and went to the Smithsonians. However, when we came back, we were famished and proceeded to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the back of our Jeep, right on the hill. The sandwiches were delicious, there was a garbage can next to our Jeep. You will not understand this unless you were there, but we highly recommend eating a PB&J here, rather than anywhere else in Washington, D.C. The roads were exotic, and yet inviting and the sunlight played on our faces like a million Christmas lights in a hall of mirrors. I am a better person for having experienced this day. I hope to eat there again.

Lots of stores and restaurants. Check out the plaza website to find out more information about what's there and when things are opened. Cleanliness could be better but I saw it after/during dinner hours.
