Loch Fyne Seafood & Grill Review

Nice location for groups up to 8 or 10. I had linguine with prawns, which where very good. Prices are not the lowest but worth it.

Okay, very city, you get what you get - okay food typically clientele and exactly what you would expect

I've been to this restaurant multiple times and I can say that I loved it each and every minute of it. The ambiance is excellent while the food was out of this world - so wonderfully prepared and served with a smile.

I like this place. Informal, nice location, nice selection of food and it's good value food too.

We all Ordered the scampi with chips and mushy peas, not good at all, the larger pieces of scampi were not cooked long enough and were partly raw, I advised the manager to check with the chef for serving partly raw scampi, she came back to us and just shrugged her shoulders, she was not interested at all, there was no apologies, the scampi was sent back, we paid for our starter and left. The staff were lovely and friendly that served us, however sadly the manager was not interested.

Sole is not great. Tastless and the fine small bones are left om the fish

The best Scottish restaurant in town and probably the best seafood I've had in London. The prices are a bit on the higher side but you're paying for quality and not the location.

My party of four all had different dishes and all enjoyed our late lunch. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices reflect the quality of the food which was excellent. We managed to get a table during mid-afternoon when it was quiet. Can't wait to go back

Great food truly fresh fish and great preparation, service was bad for a lunch of 8 people we kept looking for our waiter who was either setting a table or chatting away with his colleagues. If you are looking for a quick lunch not the best place if you have time highly recommend the food.

Slow service and poor quality food. Ordered the clams and chirizo starter: half the clams hadn t opened and the others were small and rubbery. Tried to make up space of the plate with mussels. I don t recommend.

Came here for our Christmas do considering there were about 50 of us the food was amazing started with the mussels best I've ever had and the steak was fantastic would highly recommend

appaling service!!! The manageress wanted to charge me somebody else's bill! When I refused to pay she barred me! Never acknowledged that the staff made a mistake just blamed me for everything! I feel very pissed off and offended!!! Never seen anything like it!

Very nice restaurant with well prepared food and good service. The menu is overwhelmingly sea food, but there are a couple of meat and vegan options on the menu. There is a large selection of fish that you can choose to be cooked by pan frying or steamed with a selection of sauces and sides. The environment is interesting and comfortable. The restaurant is located on the edge of Leadenhall market.

Had been before but never for lunch. We ordered burgers. They were nice but not that big. Specially with the soft shell crab burger I felt there were a lot more bread than crab. In each bite the crab flavour got lost with the bun. I think that should put 2 crabs per burger if they want the customer to actually taste the crab.
Not going again for lunch (at least not for burgers)

Scotch Egg.... I should have ordered 3. One of the best things I've ever had.

Was in the mood for a good seafood meal and got just what I needed. Customer Service was decent and the meal was hot and edible. This was my first visit to this particular Loch Fyne, but not a bad choice.

Went for lunch with a work colleague. We hadn't booked but it wasn't overly busy so we were seated quickly. The food was good, and the service prompt and fairly attentive, without being intrusive. Not cheap, however nothing is in this area.

If you like fish you'll love this place everything and anything fish based, the only problem is it was a little pricey for a restaurant but probably comparable to the Covent Garden restaurants, and the service could have been faster. A nice restaurant, particulalry for fish lovers

We booked the 5-course tasting menu at Loch Fyne City branch for a special celebration. The booking was accepted and a non-refundable deposit charged to my credit card. However, when we arrived at the restaurant we were informed there must have been an error with the booking system as the menu booked was not offered at that branch. We had to order off of the standard menu which although OK was far short of the tasting menu we were expecting.

I subsequently complained to Loch Fyne customer relations, receiving an automated reply but nothing further (over 2 weeks ago now). I think this level of customer service is appalling and if it s an indication of the general situation at Lock Fyne it s a chain you would do well to avoid.

Seafood here is amazing! Very fresh and tasty. If you re a seafood lover, it is definitely recommended.
Service is excellent and prices are decent for what it has to offer. Also good wine and cocktail selection!

Reasonable breakfast in the financial district. Apparently a 'see and be seen' spot.

Lobster was not the best choice in January - should have solicited the advice of my waitress in advance, but normally pretty good - now have competition from Burger and Lobster on Threadneedle Street

The restaurant was full and our table felt a little squashed, but they managed to find me a table at short notice, so I was appreciate of this.

The food was very nice, although the starters were quite small (chill prawns and salt and pepper squid), the main meals were fantastic (I had the seafood grill and my colleague had fish and chips).

The wine was good too (Red, not my choice, although I did pick the Fleurie!) and reasonably priced for the city.

Friendly service, amazing fish and chips very welcoming atmosphere. Possibly a little bit too much background noise for people who are hard of hearing, when the bar area is full.

Oops spoke too soon so have to edit my review. My friend and I got food poisoning from this place. Either from the tuna, halibut, or oysters.
I'm sure it doesn't happen to everyone. And the atmosphere is still nice. But just in case, I won't be returning. :)

Beautiful upmarket and sophisticated setting. A fantastic wine selection and great attentive service. I'll be back again!

We had an excellent experience here. Pretty good value for what you get. We will be back! Scallops we're particularly impressive.

As usual with Loch Fyne restaurants, excellent, but very noisy indeed if conversation is on the menu

Good food and wine at reasonable prices. Personally I just love the option of Chilli Oil with my Bream or other white fish!! I prefer to avoid the back of the restaurant as it can be a bit noisy.
