One of my favourite fish restaurants. Good menu selection and never had a bad meal there yet. Can get very busy though so can get a bit noisy at times, but still happy to be a returning customer.
Went there for breakfast which was great. The only think was... I really wanted eggs royale. They offered eggs Benedict and smoked salmon but not eggs royale. Fish restaurant, scottish, strong on smoked salmon... I'm still yet to get over it. I was sure they'd offer it.
Fun atmosphere, good main courses. Desserts a little less ...
Although this is a chain-restaurant, the food is always very good, but a little pricey for fairly mediocre wines.

And mussels were tasty but the cod and chips were disappointing and overcooked/extra golden brown so definitely wouldn t order again.
Super delicious sea food, friendly service and a good selection of wine and beer. All in a cozy atmosphere. We recommend!

I love the food. Food is tasty! However, one of the waitress worked really not focusing. She was always standing there even I call several times. Finally I realize I got a Euro coins exchange from her....
Great seafood restaurant, just off Leadenhall Mkt, with a good wine list, and as many oysters as you can eat!
Went there for a nice meal, sadly very disappointed in the cold, burnt food we were served. The staff were nice and professional, but that does not make up for what we were given, will not be going again, utter disappointment and waste of time/money.
Restaurant stank of cigarettes (from the kitchens?) and potatoes were over cooked. Fish was and oysters were well cooked though. Wouldn t go again.
Really great service and gooooooood food :). Chilli prawns, scottish salmon, the oysters ... everything was tasty and great.

I had already been there years ago, but in Scotland in the original restaurant. I expected more. Fish and chips were great but the fry a bit 'heavy, as well as that of chips. I did not take the cake so I can not evaluate it. Service too obsequious
I've been here four times and I was never disappointed. Food is extremely good, though I've always had fish dishes so I cannot speak about the others. It's a bit pricy but worth it in my opinion.
Went for breakfast at this highly recommend restaurant and had the Scottish breakfast. All the elements of the dish were done to a high standard, especially the black pudding and haggis. I also tried the salmon which a friend was having and OT was delicious. Will def go back again.

Very, very poor. Service from staff was anything but "service with a smile". A very rushed, half-hearted order taking process that didn't fill us with confidence and proved to be a sign of things to come.
Food came almost cold: mine, a poached haddock dish filled with bones and undercooked onions; my partner's, a caeser salad, was presented without any dressing and covered in parmesan which was found to be gone off after a large chunk of blue mould was discovered. The waitress didn't apologise for this but instead said "I'm not sure how you see that this way".
The whole restaurant was too cold and the toilets, which can be located after a 20 minute walk and a treacherous navigation through a series of caves, were filled with urinals overflowing with urine.
I've not had a meal this bad in a long time and this place was only saved from a one-star by the fact the food came in good time. Perhaps I'm being generous here as the place was almost empty on a Friday night so could have had no excuse.
Avoid.
Excellent food, look at your fish before you buy it, this place is epic, been countless times and always gone away a happy camper, yes service can be on or off at times, but who cares when to food is this good
Really enjoyed it here. I had Prawn Malaber curry a nice kick to it, my friend the salmon teriyaki and a lovely bottle of crisp white wine. Our waiter was called Wellington, Brazilian and super friendly, all together a lovely experience, thanks

Mediocre. For the price was expecting much better. Tiny mussels in broken shells, lacking flavour and finesse. Went years ago in Covent garden and was much better, now has the feel of a franchise about it.
I have never heard of a seafood restaurant running out of mussels.. by 7pm! To make matters worse, I had booked a table 1 week in advance JUST for the mussels, and the maitre d' made no apology. Very poor service indeed.
By far one of the worst dinners we ve had in a while. Oysters weren t fresh, with turbid water inside; returned them. Haggis were dull, same with their celebrated smoked salmon. Service was clumsy and didn t seem to care much. They gave us a 10% discount, no service fee. In any case, avoid it at all costs.
excellent haggis spring roll starter. Hake main was very good, hake 1 or 2 mins over but still v good
Atmosphere was great & staff were attentive but the food really let us down. I had the Prawn Linguine and the prawns were over cooked and weirdly chewy, as if the food had been cooked way before and was just sitting there warm - not great and wouldn't recommend!
