Great location within easy walking distance to downtown and sky rail station and tons of great restaurants. Amazing service, clean room and comfortable bed at a good price make this a great place to stay for a trip to Vancouver.

Decent place overall. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. A bit further away from the downtown core than I would have liked, but it's close to all the shops on Robson. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Watch out if you book on-line. Wouldn't refund my room when my secretary accidentally booked it for the wrong date. Offered a "discount" next time I was in town. Like I would stay there after that, terrible customer service in my mind.

All of the front desk staff is super friendly & welcoming. They accommodated both of our special requests. The room was comfortable, nice size & clean. We enjoyed the artwork in the hotel & how wonderfully eco-conscious the hotel is! The staff helped us with local recommendations & arranging a taxi for our group (& all our luggage) on the last day of our stay. The location on Robson St. is a short walk from Vancouver Art Museum & a Hop-on/Hop-off bus stop. Plus, the street itself had fantastic shops & restaurants! I will be staying here whenever I am visiting Vancouver! The breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Forage, was not included in the room price- but is all local/house made & so exquisitely presented, fresh & delicious! It is very much worth the extra $.

I stayed at The Listel in Robson st for 2 weeks for a business trip. My stay was perfect! The room was nice, very comfortable bed, good room service. You can have a great free coffee every morning and free wine every evening. There is a small but nice gym in the building as well. Plus you'll be provided with a lot of touristic information about the city.
Will come back for sure if I have the opportunity!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Great location, fantastic amenities (wine tastings, complimentary coffee in the morning on certain floors, gorgeous art to look at, friendly staff, etc.) Loving our stay so far. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed at the hotel after a Christmas party downtown. Enjoyed it! Hotel was clean, very eco friendly. The staff was attentitive and helpful. The price was reasonable considering location, date and quality of hotel and services. The wine hour served good wine, unfortunately did not ask the brand. The only downside is you could easily hear people in the hallway, not that anyone was rowdy in the hallways, but any kind of talking could easily be heard. Would definitely stay again!

Attended 1 day seminar at hotel. Facilities were clean and we'll attended. Food provided was of good quality. I would have preferred if more was made available as the group ran out of lunch quickly. All in all a great place for the seminar

The lobby, artwork and feel of the hotel is really nice.

The room was clean, modern and bed comfy. One thing they forgot to upgrade is the bathrooms. Still the old 1970's tile and it's dark and run down. The bathroom fan sounds like a 747 engine above your head.

They advertise is it as being built in 2005... ahh, no. This building has been here as long as I can remember... the 80's. They simply renamed it and did a reno.

Service was fabulous overall, other then the night front desk clerk by the name of Stewart, that was rude and unfriendly and made me feel like I was simply disturbing him and wasting his time with every inquiry.

The housekeeping 8am start was really annoying and got woken up every morning by loud door slams from the hall. So much for sleeping in a bit while on holidays!!

The biggest shock and disappointment was the advertised price. At first I found this hotel very attractive by it's location and reasonable price which was $139/night. Once I checked in, I found out that they actually have no parking there and the only option is to use their valet for an extra $26/day. After getting my final invoice today, on top of the $26 is also a Translink tax and HST tax on top, so the parking really cost over $35/night!

When I added up all the extra fees such as some sort of 'facility fee' and 'destination marketing fee', my nightly rate ended up being $200.99/night. That's $62/night more then what was advertised. This is wrong!!!

Lastly, their in-room breakfast menu, that you can use to have them deliver breakfast in the morning... juice, two eggs with hashbrowns, bake and toast and coffee for $18. AND they automatically add on 18% gratuity. Whatever happened to tipping for good service. So that basic breakfast will cost you $21.24.

If you like nice decor and great location, then this is a good place to stay. But if you get upset like me, when someone advertises one price, but then you pay almost twice more, I wouldn't support these guys again!! For $200/night, this is a great location, don't get me wrong, but simply advertise it that way and be honest and upfront about it.

For this reason I wouldn't stay here again!

Listel Hotel was fabulous! I strive to live a life with as little waste as possible. I was pleased to find compost and recycling in the hotel room. I also loved that glass bottles were provided to fill up with distilled water available on every floor. I was also given the option of getting my recipe emailed to me to reduce paper waste.
The staff were wonderful. The room I stayed in was modern, clean, and comfortable. I was able to sip on a cup of tea and look out on the busy Vancouver street before closing the curtains and falling asleep.
Next time I'm in town for work, Listel Hotel will definitely be my number one choice for a place to stay!

I like this hotel. Great deal through Hotwire, then a reasonable amount to upgrade to a suite once we got there. Super friendly staff: without asking they charged my car, alleviating all sorts of charge anxiety for my busy day ahead. Highly recommended.

Had a great time! In a corner suite, with a view down to the harbor. Loved the restaurant, the expose of local artists, and the fresh coffee delivered to the door in the morning. Usually was not around for the complimentary wine tastings, but seemed fun. The staff at the front were very helpful giving directions and recommendations. Room was modern and clean. Would stay here again.

While the staff are friendly, they're exasperatingly inept. Even the simplest of tasks, such as checking in/out the bikes seems to require everyone at the front desk to help, and it still goes wrong. Rooms were relatively clean, and the wifi is ok, though they insist on leaving only three towels in a four person room.

I had a great experience with he Listel Hotel. The rooms were great, the hallways are slightly dated but it doesn't take away at all from the hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, the welcoming staff was superb and the reason for this review is due to their extra guidance.

A gentleman operating the valet had a ton of info on local restaurants, and when I asked for a Ramen recommendation, he guided me to two spots. The one I chase was FANTASTIC and made my day.

The hotel also has Forage downstairs which cooks a mean breakfast, very very good, and both of the restaurants and the hotel itself has a no waste policy which is great.

Thanks for a great stay, I will be back.

Terrible experience so far. Had to cancel the first night due to weather delays, and they insisted on charging me. Fine, that's their policy when it's within 24 hours. Then I arrive and several lights in the room aren't functioning, either flickering oddly or bulbs burnt out. Not a big deal. Then the air is stuck on heat and can't seem to cool down the room, even though it's a manual and not digital thermostat. Then I turn in the TV to get a no signal message for several minutes. And the internet is spotty at best. But what took the cake was when I tried to order to service and there was no one answering the phone. It heir routing to the front desk who kept suggesting I either try back later, or I call the restaurant directly from my cell phone. I'm trying to by a $30 breakfast that's probably not that great, and I have to chase down people to take my order. Finally, after going through 3 different people at the front desk, I get someone who says he'll get room service to call me back. That worked and I appreciate that person being able to problem solve.

All of this whole starting in the"modern art suite"and paying $250/night. Poor people staying in regular rooms.

This was my first stay, I found the staff to be genuine, kind and very pleasant. The room was comfortable, up to date and very clean. Lovely decor throughout the hotel and complimentary wine tasting in the evenings what a great idea! We ate at Forage one evening which is right beside the hotel and this was also a fun evening with an experienced bartender who had great information to share with us demonstrating great depth of knowledge about the restaurant and the community. He also made a great Old Fashioned (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name).

Very nice boutique hotel right in downtown. They have a restaurant called Timber that's very good, cheap drinks! The valet left a package of homemade cookies for us on our dash which were amazing. I'd definitely stay here again. Extremely clean and great staff.

It s been s while but I keep remembering how good this place was. We only stayed one night but we plan to make this a go to for more Vancouver exploration.

First off the usual stuff. Excellent rooms with very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom with soap, shampoo, all the good stuff. Bring an old tree hugger from way back I like joe they incorporate this into comfort. The staff are excellent and helpful. I must eat a Japandog when I m in Vancouver and they knew exactly where they were at any given hour.

The location is about as good as you can get without being right on the water. I prefer this area anyway. It s right on a commercial area with plenty of eating options. If you can t find food to meet your taste and budget you really need help.

A fun thing is the water dispensers. They have a sparkling water and still water options. I had a water bottle that seals well and having sparkling water in the evening was great. I refilled our regular bottles for our tourist walk. I m s treehugger so I roll like that.

It s pretty modern looking with modern art. I don t care for modern art, however the public areas are not run of the mill and interesting.

Don t forget to tip housekeeping. The rooms are immaculate and it s good karma.

This was a very enjoyable stay!
The staff was great & very accomodating. The hotel is very clean & modern w/ art galleries throughout. All rooms come with glass water bottles that can be refilled as often as you'd like with filtered water on every floor. The hotel is located in the downtown area right next to 1 of Vancouvers main shopping hub!

Rooms could use an update, but that was the only drawback of staying here - on the flip side, the location was awesome, room was very clean, we were given an upgrade, morning coffee and afternoon wine were both delicious. We loved our stay and will be back. :)

When you can wander down the corridor and fill a bottle with free, chilled, sparkling water you know you're in a hotel that cares. When you notice the small, unobtrusive recycling bins for plastics and paper as well as one for "organic matter" you know you're in a hotel that cares about the environment. Friendly reception staff, located in a bustling shopping street, plenty of eating options nearby....it all adds up to a nice welcome to Vancouver.

Perfect except for very limited television options. Would prefer no TV to what is there. Strangely awful - could not find national or international news - just expensive Hollywood candy. The hotel is terrific.

The Listel Hotel is a gorgeous Gallery Hotel. The art pieces really make this hotel stand out. The staff is so courteous, we had a really good time! Beds are also very comfy!! And it's right downtown, near all kinds of coffee shops, boutiques and restaurant. We were really happy about our first experience in Vancouver!!

We enjoyed this hotel thoroughly. It was great. Complementary calls to the states from the room, Complementary happy hour with local wines each day, complementary filtered water and also sparkling water. Tim Hortons is right across the street also so that was nice to try an authentic Canadian fast food chain. The local area is heavily populated with asain restaurants so be prepared to eat a lot of asain food.

Best boutique in downtown Vancouver, and one of my favorites in any city. Staff is extremely accommodating and attentive, the rooms are very clean and well appointed, the First Nation artwork is intoxicating, and Forage is a respectable contender in a city with lots of excellent restaurants.

I had stayed at this hotel in May 2019 for business. The room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. The added feature of being able to use the steve nash fitness facility was really nice as well. The only complaint I have... is that I had left a sweater and jacket in the closet on checkout. I had sent an email a couple days after noticing. They had stated that nothing was found. This is very disappointing when dishonest situations such as this arise. I don't believe i will be able to go back to this hotel because of this.

There was free wine in the lobby when we arrived! Our room had incredibly cozy pillows and a wonderfully soft and comfortable mattress. We also enjoyed a balcony with water views. I especially appreciated the compost bin and reusable glassware! The employees had great recommendations for dinner and brunch and were very helpful when needed. I would highly recommend!

Hotel was nice. Location was great. First time in Vancouver and I loved it. Left our portable cell charger in the room on accident when we checked out. They found it and sent it to me in Las Vegas. Awesome staff!
