Cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed at, in the heart of Robson Street. Everything was nice, especially the maid service, and valet service. The rest of the staff act efficiently but not warmly. Parking is especially expensive at the Listel, but well worth the extra couple of bucks.. The rooms are quite austere and a little worn, but its still a good place to stay for the money. Forage, the restaurant, is EXCELLENT, Four stars for forage!

After a poor experience with another hotel we found the listel. Beautiful building, free valet parking and free wine between 5 and 6. Wonderful staff, exquisite, spacious room and they even have free sparkling water dispensers on each floor. I would stay here again and recommend it no problem!

They have sparkling water on tap! Complimentary coffee every morning! Wine social every day! I love and miss this hotel. I stayed here for 4 nights and it was home away from home. The staff were friendly with suggestions on food and where the locals go for attractions. Located on a major street there are attractions nearby. I also recommend taking the bus, which is right on the corner, as it takes you everywhere and so easy. The room was comfortable and clean. Plenty of space to store my luggage and hang clothes. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Vancouver.

I stayed recently as the Listel was the hotel for our annual staff meetings. This is my third stay and all three have been exceptional. This time, I let them know that I'd be hosting staff in the early evening for a social time and I asked for a room with the biggest square footage they could do for the same price. When I arrived it was to find they'd given us a room with a balcony about the same size as the room! The weather was perfect and we all thoroughly enjoyed the space for both evenings. As always, everything else was perfect including the service, right down to the very sweet parting gift of wrapped cookies in my car when the valet returned it on checkout. I cannot say enough positive things about the service.

If it is well located on a street with many shops for every budget. If you stay at this hotel begins the day with breakfast at Cora, which is only a few steps toward Stanley Park. For lunch or dinner you can not miss DANBO Ramen, directly opposite the hotel where you see all people formed waiting for a place !. Hotel Not spectacular but serves its purpose. Friendly staff in general.

We really appreciate Alex (from the Front Desk) who has been very attentive to our needs from the beginning until the end of our 3-week stay over the holidays.

However, the other staff were not very helpful nor accommodating when my parents asked for a weighing scale to be brought to their room the staff insisted that they take their luggages (all 10 pieces) down to the lobby instead which was very inconvenient.

Overall, it was a good place to stay because of the location and its proximity to restaurants, shops and bus stops.

Great friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Great friendly staff. Clean rooms.
I stayed on the second floor, and I don't know what caused the sound, but there was literally a constant hissing / pressure noise that was quite loud in the room. Sounded like high pressure steam running through pipes. It was constant and loud. Enough that in order to sleep you had to wear earplugs, and you could still hear it. If I didn't bring ear protection, I would not have slept a wink.
Parking is insanely priced at extra $40 beyond room price. If you check in and park your car less than a block away, it's only $12 for a night.
Fix the crazy pipe noise and don't overcharge for parking and you would get 4 stars.

We had a wonderful experience at The Listel Hotel with much thanks to Jennifer. She was very accommodating and kind. It was our first time visiting Vancouver and we are very grateful for the hospitality that both she and The Listel Hotel provided. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be staying at The Listel in the future!

Location is good. The online quote $139.00 when I arrived I was informed that parking was $36. With valet service, no option offered.
When I got my bill under my door this morning $207.00.
Eco fee. Facility fee..destination marketing fee. Translink tax .
Give me a break. The room was very nice. Will be looking for a hotel that is a little more upfront.

Very nice hotel, aside from the lack of hot water for morning showers! Request a king size room when possible - the size difference between it and a double room makes a huge difference (we requested an upgrade after seeing our friends').

Had the artist suite. Loved the room and the complementary valet parking was a real plus. Also, there is a daily wine reception that is an added benefit. Lastly, the hotel is partnered with a commercial gym that is very apt for intermediate or serious gym goers. Location is right on Robson in downtown and walking range includes many great restaurants and shops.

The heating system in the hotel was pathetic. I have sinus problem and was down with a headache becuz apparently the heating in the room was not working.so we were forced to check out one day early. The staff member was also rude. They gave us a portable heater to use in the room which was super loud. The valet parking could not find my husbands car which was on the same spot for the last 2 days. And my husband had to drive his own car out. So the valet parking sucks too!!!! Not a very happy and satisfied customer.

We went to this hotel because it was rated a four star hotel. I was really disappointed in the old furniture that was clearly chipped or broken. The bed was horrible, hard and actually caused me back pain. The front desk were professional but uninterested. The most surprising was the parking. There was none. We had to pay 29.00 a night oh and whoops let's not tell anyone about the 10.00 tax on top of that. For two nights of parking and tipping the valet it cost us almost 100.00 just for our car alone. Rediculous!

4 people stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Very comfortable beds. Toilet cabinet, needed to be patched up- chipped door. Each morning, pressed coffee was delivered after we made the order, the night before - it was very good coffee. Only bad thing, free wine between 5-6 was great but we had to sit on the steps to socialize. There didn't appear to be a relaxing area. Please do something about that. The lobby was full of empty wine glasses, no service to remove them and a very tacky feel to the lobby of a nice hotel. Might be better to stop this free wine if you can't find a room for people to meet.

Location is great. It's right on Robson, near good places to eat and shop, and all tourist attractions are easily accessible. The staff was friendly and made suggestions on where to visit. The room was clean and comfy, but the bathroom could use an update. Only real complaint is that they were remodeling rooms on my floor, starting around 9ish. I was already awake and getting ready to leave, but I would have been upset if I wanted to sleep in.

An independent hotel that is obviously well run with happy, helpful staff. I'm never disappointed in either restaurant and the food offerings at functions are always of the highest quality, as if they want to showcase the so kills of their kitchen..as it should be.

Fantastic boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Steps away from amazing restaurants and shopping. Love all the artwork! Rooms are very clean, staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the Listel to friends and co-workers. Hope to stay here again.

Comfy rooms. But kept finding hairs that were just not mine. Slightly off putting.
Unplanned works in room above was not ideal but front desk offered to find a quite spot for me to work and complimentary breakfast which was nice.
Wine tasting is a nice little touch.
Overall, an OK hotel but could do with a bit of an update.

I was a little disappointed with the hotel. We stayed at the Listel for two nights. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and service was good. The room left a little to be desired. Furniture was dated and showing wear and tear. Bathroom was dark and needed updating. This would definitely not be considered a 4 star hotel, and is not worth the $400 booking price advertised online. There are much better options a few blocks away.

We stayed here a couple weeks ago. This place is clean, super friendly staff, awesome French pressed coffee! I asked for pictures of Angelina Jolie and Grizzly bears as a joke to my wife and sister in law, and the staff at the hotel went above and beyond, the pictures were absolutely amazing, GREAT JOB!! Thanks for the great laugh. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to be treated like royalty!
