First off, location was excellent - middle of Koreatown with tons of places to eat and shop. Close enough to walk to many other desirable parts of Vancouver. Secondly, the staff was pretty great - friendlyish, polite, very professional. Only negative was that the room we were in was in need of sprucing up. However, parts of the hotel were obviously being remodeled, and because we booked through a discount site, we probably had one of the older rooms (though still very clean and comfortable) - plus side is that the price was very reasonable and we got to enjoy a central location in a nice hotel! I also appreciate that they are very green and minimalistic!

We stayed here for 4 nights and even during a pandemic it was a fantastic experience. Fabia went above and beyond when we forgot our passports in the room - within an hour of our call, she'd had them mailed out and sent us the tracking number. The decor is lovely and the rooms were very clean and fresh.

If you stay here I definitely recommend dining at Forage, everything we tried was phenomenal.

Amazing place with a luxurious decor. We did not expect to see that. Environmentally friendly as well. And all 3 receptionists we saw there had great positive energy (much more than just North American dry smile)!

Very friendly and helpful staff which were the main strength of this hotel, plus its central location. Very noisy centrally controlled air con system which either kept me awake the first night or woke me during the second! Wardrobe rather tatty with holes inside and bathroom was on the small side, compared to the other 6 places we've stayed in Canada so far. Otherwise fine with comfortable bed and good towels and toiletries, also a fridge provided.

I stayed here because they had a welcome back Vancouver special on and even without it, the stay would have been worth it. The place was clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. They have their own parking; which was very reasonably priced.
Their restaurant Forage was amazing.

Nice Hotel. Great staff. The do a good Job. It is located very central. It is clean and in a good condition. There is no Broadcast offenen and some small extras are missing what you will await for the prices.

Really enjoyed this. I can understand people's complaints as there are a lot of random and bizarre fees on your bill bit honestly these are the save fees (Destination Marketing fee?!) other hotels simply hide. So it artificially lowers the base price of the rooms but one the bill is paid it's still very reasonable for a clean, quality, hotel. Loved the atmosphere, location and helpful staff.

Our room here is lovely. Spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and can't do enough for the guests. We've heard absolutely no noise from other rooms and the location is perfect - in a slightly quieter part of West End but near enough to everything to be convenient

Travelosity had this hotel listed as a 4 star. Its hard to call it a 4 star. Upon check in we were a tad disappointed, the rooms were very nice and comfortable but its not what you picture a 4 star hotel to look like. (We booked through the hidden hotel function on travelosity. I'd say travelosity is more to blame then the hotel itself.) The staff was excellent and so is the location. All in all for the price we paid we were very happy. You can walk to coal harbour, Stanley park, Granville, and to the beach. They give free high speed internet and free north america wide calling. Bed's are comfortable. I would return.

This is an absolutely superb hotel located on Robson Street right in the heart of one of Vancouver's most fashionable shopping districts. But there's much more. The service and staff are wonderful, the entire hotel is decorated with indigenous Canadian artworks, the food at the hotel restaurant is five star, and the hotel is small enough to have a boutique atmosphere. During peak season season in the summer it is not inexpensive although it is fairly priced versus the competition. During the off-season it's an outright bargain. Whenever we visit Vancouver we try to stay at the Listel if it is available.

I made a very minor suggestion via email to the manager the last time I stayed there. She wrote back a two-page reply. I was impressed.

I arrived and was greeted by cheery staff in the lobby. They helped me get into my room and situated, gave me suggestions for places to eat, and set me up with a map of the city. Complimentary morning coffee was welcomed with great enthusiasm, and the eggs Benedict was delicious. Beds were clean and comfortable and everything was well in order. I would stay here again if I returned to the area.

Warm and friendly welcome on arrival, very comfortable with excellent housekeeping services including complimentary cafetiere of coffee each morning delivered to our room! Thoroughly recommend both Forage and Timber for eating. Each is unique and informed staff help navigate the menu. Hotel has a zero waste award and recycle everything as well as providing accessible drinking water points on each floor with refillable glass carrafes. No hesitation in recommending and would stay again happily!

Clean and well-kept rooms in downtown Vancouver on Robson Stret. Courteous staff. Lots of art , which is nice. Free wine tasting every night. Parking that is expensive but more secure than the other hotels around.

The Listel Hotel is right in the heart of Robson Street... such a fabulous location. The hotel lobby is chic and spacious and the staff are friendly and accommodating. They provide Aveda washroom toiletries which is a pleasant added touch. There are several fabulous restaurants and tons of great shopping to be done all within walking distance. The rooms have been cosmetically updated but have not had the complete overall. With that being said, the rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. I suggest this hotel to any traveller who is looking for a well-rounded, comfortable, entertaining Vancouver experience.

Nice eco-friendly hotel on north side of Robson. Within walking distance to shopping center and not far from Stanley Park (it was pouring rain so we drove to Aquarium). We were lucky enough to be on 6th floor in room with a balcony and great views. They offer valet parking and a little wine social hour in the early evening. They also have filtered water taps on each floor... One carbonated and one sans gas!

Dated and expensive hotel, floors are under some renovations and are noisy. Some of the rooms doesn t have working air conditioning and their answer to dad is to provide you with a fan (dusty by the way) and a free drink at their bar. Save yourself a bad night and for that money better stay at the Fairmont.

This is a very good place to stay for the activities of Whistler, and l would use it again. It is about 50 yards from the Village Stroll at the Gondola end of town, so a very good location. The restaurant is one of the best, and the coldest place to taste vodka in the world is here.

The rooms are Canada clean (Canada is clean) and our room was spacious for ski gear with en suite and twin queen sized beds.

4 stars?! Haha... No.

4 stars?! Haha... No.

Tv channels are very sparse. Bedding is basic. Pillows uncomfortable - they're like cheap, bulky foam, too high. Carpet was worn. Area is loud at night and can be heard through the thin walls. Walls are thin. Bathroom is tiny and poorly ventilated. Bath is big and deep, but the shower has low pressure and drips out of the shower. "Wine Happy hour" was cheap and tacky wines. The nose tissue and toilet paper was incredibly rough and uncomfortable. Incredibly loud and annoying air conditioner blowing right over the bed. When people down the hall slam their doors shut, it rocks the walls and bed.

Great location, nice front desk, interesting art, but that's it. Not worth the money, nor the hype.

A truly lovely experience with the staff and amenities. They are green and art focused. I would love to see those meeting rooms double as art galleries. The towels and robe were clean and fluffy. The bed and pillows as soft as a cloud.
The view from the top floor is lovely. The continental breakfast was warm and fluffy. It was so nice I didn't feel the need to ask for anything.

Listel is an incredible hotel. A 20 min walk to the sports arenas, wine a 5 in the lobby, and incredible BC art in all the rooms and hallways. This is my go to Vancouver hotel. Eco friendly with glass water bottles in each room, and each floor has still and sparkling taps. Forage and timber are the restaurants attached and both are incredible.

Only stayed briefly for a social function. lobby is small. Rooms look ok. Right on. Robson but the North end so have to do some walking to get places. Not terrible if the weather is nice but when it rains it can be annoying. Plus cabs in Vancouver are impossible to track down. This town needs uber.

It's a nice hotel for those who like art and wine. There are art pieces throughout the hotel, on every floor (that I have seen), near the elevators as well as paintings within the rooms. There is also free wine tasting at 5 pm everyday. It's a "green" hotel, they do not offer the little bottles of shampoo, conditioner or body wash, they have a decent sized (refillable container) in the shower itself, they also do not offer the small bottles of lotion, and no alternative is provided.

Very well located on Robson Street. You can walk all over the downtown area from this location. The hotel staff are very helpful and well trained. The rooms are a bit tired looking but clean. Rooms on the back of the hotel are quiet.

Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. There are surrounding shops, restaurants, bars, market and drug stores. The place can get somewhat long to check in, as they only have one person to check in and no valet person in sight (even though they provide such service), and security is only available on the weekends in the evening hours. I liked the hotel, because they are very environmental friendly and has filter water fountain that guests can fill up on the bottles they provide. Another thing I also liked, they have few historic art pieces inside the hotel on each floor and rooms. The hotel does offer room service, they have in house concierge, in room safety box, 24/7 valet car ready, and they also have evening one hour wine hour on the main floor for stay in guests.

Typical city hotel, expensive parking. We stayed in an insanely-overpriced suite and had an average experience. The room was fairly updated and clean, but the entire hotel smells older and musky. Nothing really special, but was literally the only room available in the city that night.
