We called on Thursday, December 21, 2017 and requested quotes on both homeowner's and auto insurance. Were told that we would receive a call back later that day. Sent them the requested additional information. Today is December 27, 2017 and we have not heard one word or received any information via email. This is the epitome of a lack of customer service and obviously our business is not needed.... You were highly recommended by close friends and we will certainly share our experience with them-- and others...

Mary Easterling with Lisa Nickels Insurance has been a true blessing to us. It was time to renew our insurance for our roofing company and Mary worked hard to shop around to find us the best rate and provided us with a detailed explanation of all our options. She was very helpful in answering all of our questions and explaining it in a way where we could understand the sometimes crazy insurance lingo. She is always quick to answer our call or email if we have a question. The customer service Lisa Nickels Insurance gives is outstanding and I will highly recommend them to our family and friends!

BUYER BEWARE!!! What you will be quoted is not what you will pay. When asked about the differences, be prepared to deal with a defensive attitude, and they will cite a number of excuses, including but not limited to, "Texas is seeing an increase in premiums because of whatever is the most recent natural disaster".
This is based on my experience over the course of 6 months, dealing with 3 separate representatives.
Customer service is a joke! Getting ahold of someone or getting them to call you back is near impossible, and if they do, the problem and excuses flow like a river flooding it's banks (which will probably increase your premiums)...

Every person we have encountered has been positive, friendly, professional, and prompt. From day one, our agent Mary has worked diligently for our business. Angie and Anita helped me get and modify coverage with no difficulty at all. I like this agency because they are not beholden to a specific insurer, rather they can get you quotes from many top companies.
As a small business owner, I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews. I would much rather leave a raving review about businesses who shine, because I know how important they are to a business. However, I feel as if constructive reviews can be beneficial to a company.
That being said, I do NOT recommend this agency to any fellow small business owners. They do not have the time to care about the little guys and it shows. Through the year we had them cover our commercial policy, it was an absolute nightmare trying to get a response to any question we asked. It didn t matter if it was email or voicemail, it would take weeks sometimes for a response, on sometimes time sensitive questions. Of course, it wasn t like this in the beginning, when a friend recommended them to us and they were trying to get our business. Every question was answered quickly then, but once we signed it was a completely different story. After our year was up, I had enough. I want an insurance company and team who cares about our business and has the time to deal with us. I know they are hard to find, but I know they are out there.
Oh and by the way, after we switched to another agent, she was able to show us multiple things on our commercial policy that weren t actually needed....that were just on the policy as padding to make a bigger commission....so just review everything carefully that they say you need if you go with this company.
If you cancel your policy, send them the cancellation date via email, not over the phone. Not sure if this was a vindictive move on their part but they cancelled my policy one day before I asked them to cancel. Seems like a horrible thing to do to someone. Fortunately, the severe weather that came through over the past few days was benign. I can't imagine the headaches I'd be dealing with if I had to try and make a claim on the day that I had a lapse in coverage. Kind of a shame as most everyone seemed cordial. I guess you can't trust anyone these days.
