If you want top diving in Baa Atoll choose Liquid Salt Divers. Run by local dive instructors and dive guides. And probably the best place to see mantarays because of the location and they use drones to locate manta rays and whalesharks. Hanifaru bay is just 10 minutes from the dive centre. Most of the dive sites are just 10 to 20 minutes from the base. And the dive boat huge spacious 55ft wooden boat.
Great snorkel with Liquid Salt Divers. My friend and I were lucky enough to swim with mantas and see some spinner dolphins on the way. Unfortunately, we came towards the end of manta season so we didn t get to see that many of them, but the guys with us didn t worry about time and really made sure we all had a good time during the excursion - Sidey brought his drone on the boat to know exactly where to go to see the mantas, and we still managed to be in the water with five of them!

Working in another resort in the Maldives, we needed a local guide to come with us in order to enter Hanifaru bay when some of our guests wanted to see some mantas and we couldn t have picked any better dive centre to work with. I also really appreciated the fact that guides coming on excursions with us all emphasised to each and every guest the specific guidelines on how one should behave in the water with those animals.

During my 10 days stay, Liquid Salt Divers have let down severyl people by cancelling trips that were clearly agreed on, at the last minute. It is next to impossible to arrange another diving or snorkelling trip with someone else on the same day!!!
Try Dharandharoo divers instead. Good reliable people and great service.

Went on both snorkelling and diving trips with Liquid Salt. Great service every time! We went looking for Mantas on one trip (not manta season) and Sidey used a drone which was a great way to find the mantas plus a bonus of some great pics too! The diving was great, the staff were flexible with our needs, all the dive sites were only a short boat ride away and the reefs were fantastic!
Great experience with Sidey on the 3 day streak to Hanifaru Bay and Turtle point. Kudos to the team on their effort and gota compliment the friendliness. The execution was flaweless and communications were very transparent
