Lots of fresh produce and fruits! The pies are amazing
Love to bring my son and his friends here. My husband and I come as a family as often as we possibly can. Beautiful place for both adults and children alike! Excellent homemade food, organic produce from local farmers, fun activities for the kids, enormous playground, etc. We love this place!!!
I would take a lunch when you go. The food is expensive. And not that good.
There are a lot of fun things to do here and there is a nice playground for kids to play at. They do ask for a dollar donation to use the playground.
Fun family day trip! Went during covid, and they had measures in place to ensure their visitors safety.
So commercial and such a PYO scam. Charge more per lb instead of forcing people to spend $5 per person. Seriously, charging $5 for a 1 year old is kinna pathetic.
Great alot of food things fir the kids. Hot mommys there
So many childhood memories and now bringing the Grands!
Oct 2019
We stopped in for a bit during pumpkin season in October, and it was a good way to spend an hour or so. The pumpkin selection was wonderful and prices were very reasonable and there was a nice spread of donuts, pies, vegetables, and other items. There's even a beer garden and few food offerings with a nice spot to pass the time.
Nice place with Pony ride, train ride, hayride, apple picking etc. Kids will love it.
The place is awesome. I do not care much for the deer being caged up. Dear are ment to run free. The candles are awesome though!!
On a very hot day with no shade only running one hey ride at a time is bs! No discount for kids on the ride either. Food is over priced, small portions and so so in taste.
Wasnt bad. Been here a few times but this year due to the pandemic a lot of concession stands were closed and no blooming onion :( the food they had was a lil pricey and not very good. Wasnt crowded either so that was a plus
Great place to take family especially during trying times like thease
It is a friendly and fun place for the whole family. It is full of different activities that will have you rolling all day long.
Linvilla orchards is always a great place to visit. I love to see the beautiful animals and drink delicious beer.
Great place for the family. Charming
Ice cream vendor on October 2, 2019 12pm is very rude and unfriendly. Very unprofessional.
If you go as a school trip..
.make sure you get your cider and apples..I bought some...asked if I could return my purchase and I actually called The Orchard and made a complaint about parents not getting what they paid for and they can take care of the issue
Great selection of things to self pick. We went apple picking and had a great time. A lot of apple varieties and a reasonable price. Staff helpful, most rows labeled.
Sooooo....we charge $1.99 per you pick pound of apples that are not of any particularly interesting variety. The orchard has been sprayed with some heavy duty pesticides, notice no flies, wasps, or other insect creatures? Poisoned apples aside, overpriced poisoned apples aside, poor varietals of poisoned apples aside, it is the massive amounts of wasted poor varietals of poisoned apples that should make the owners ashamed. Every tree has had at least 50% wasted on the ground of rotting in the tree. Send them to a food bank! Of course this would mean we are poisoning the homeless and boring their taste buds. How do I know about the pesticide? I have worked in an orchard. That many fallen apples would/should be crawling with yellow jackets, ants, and flies.
Next we move onto the mass of humanity that shows up here every weekend. We are talking thousands upon thousands. Parking is a nightmare. There are sparse restroom facilities. I counted six port-a potties and two four person bathrooms. The regular bathrooms are disgusting. No soap, feces smeared on the walls, no toilet paper, and no one cares. I thought there was a bare minimum of bathroom facilities required by the health department?! If there is no soap here, what do you think the staff has to wash with? Ick.
My biggest gripe is that, those of us that remember, this rip off of a family enterprise had a "fire" that demolished the (then main structure. The family cried to the public. They waxed and waned poetic about the damage to their farm. They asked for donations to rebuild. They stated publicly that their end goal was to rebuild the lost structure. It has been over ten years. They have built plenty of other crappy structures, not one large enough to address the mass of weekenders, but no rebuild of the lost round barn.
Oh, I can't stop there. Bring your small ones. They are more than happy to charge money for every activity. This includes the child's play area which has several large unkempt apple trees dropping rotten apples all over where your kids would like to play, which you have paid the privilege for. The food is a total rip off too. We are talking serious Disney World rape. Except this food is served by unfriendly people that we have well established have not washed their hands in a very long time. I will never bring my family back as I'm fairly sure by next year they will charge for parking.
These right here? Are the truth!!!
Peach Twists
Great place. The girls at the market cashier's r not friendly, I know they r having a long day, but they looked miserable. But we luv u all
Best place ever to take your kids for the fall festivities and anytime during the year in general. Definitely a go to every year; I travel from the Harrisburg area just to bring my family here.
NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED - overcrowded and very commercialized
We have been several times for pumpkins. The hayride I enjoyable, the food is good, and the pumpkins are plentiful and we'll sized. The petting zoo and pony rides were enjoyable. The down side is getting in and out I difficult with their location and the entire farm seemed overly crowded on the days we have gone.
We had so much fun apple picking with the kids. Great dessert to.
Other patrons are extremely absent minded, self centered and rude. I live 10 minutes away, no matter what time of year I go.
Parking can be a nightmare during an event. Today I sat behind a woman who just stopped in the middle of the enterance for 5 minutes, no room to go around, no turn signal to indicate waiting for a spot. Just stopped.
That should have been an indicator to leave.
Always a nice place to go with family. Free playground and animals to see. Bring quarters to feed farm animals. Nice shops with homemade and natural goods.
Fun place for the family, the hayride tour was very informative, there's a lot going on there!
We've been going for over 30 years what a great place especially for kids!
Got greedy. Started charging people money to just walk around their fields. 36 dollars for a small basket for apples and charged money to just walk around the corn field.
This place makes me feel like a little girl every time I go there. I love it!!
Love Linvilla. We go every year at least once in the fall and then again at various times throughout the year. Husband loves the market which has tons of interesting foods; I love the store, which has cute seasonal decor and gifts; boys love the playgrounds, animals, picking activities, and festival events. Something for everyone.
Probably just bad timing, but alot of the pre-cut trees were sub-par. Drove 2 miles away and got a decent tree for less. The atmosphere is wonderful though and they have alot of nice decorations. There was an ice sculptor there as well doing some really cool Christmas sculptures and what I thought was ugly enough to be Yoda but my wife said it was baby yoda.
Children had a ball. Certain areas were closed but enough were open whereas they were still able to enjoy themselves.
Went strawberry picking today. Awesome and inviting people working there! We planning to go back with friends and family.
It was horrible experience with this place. I registered online for strawberry pick up, but when we arrive by the time on which I had registered, they said they don't have any pick ups today at that time and they didn't even find me registeed in their system, though I had email confirmation.
Great place. Good prices. Very crowded during the height of the season be prepared for lines.
Love linvilla especially the face painters. We go every year summer and fall.
Overcrowded and over priced. I'll stick with weavers orchard for the best pick your own. The peaches here weren't even sweet. Not worth it in my opinion. We spend over $300.00 peaches and were very dissapointed.
Apple cider donuts fresh from the oven. Omg. Amazing
Always great, been going there for years. It's a family tradition.
The place has so much potential. Instead of feeling like a relaxing day of pumpkin picking and drinking fresh apple cider, it felt like more of a crazy day at the state fair with the smell of greasy, fried food. It took 30 minutes to park and then lines that went on forever for every activity there. Everything was really overpriced as well. Prob won t go back again :0(
Great place for apple picking, cider and donuts, fall decorations, and fun! The animals on site are interesting to look at, especially being close to Philly! They have a huge orchard for apple picking, and their pumpkins are HUGE!
Advertising to mask up as this is an outside event
Their gift shop is to expensive and the cooked foods have no taste, the fries, burgers and such had noooo taste at all, also expensive, but I like to visit their and I enjoy the Hayride
A great place to unwind after work, you can get a bag of animal food for $1 or $2 and hang out with farm animals. Beautiful plants, gifts and specialty food as well.
Great fun. Very clean and organized. Hay ride was great and had everyone social distancing.
Great place to have a kids birthday party. Hay rides, cake, pizza, paper plates, napkins and a person to take care of you while you're there. Great entertainment for the children's play and have a good time, also parents to
A great place for Family outdoor fun on a working farm. One of the areas best bakery too!
Apple Picking and slinging! A full box for $39.99 !very addictive
Update: did anyone have issues with the Lemon curd?
Love there Lemon Meringue Pies and of course the Apple Cider Donuts
C
Great Greenhouse and Garden Center. Produce and food market area has a great variety. Bakery was too good.
Hayrides, amazing foods, fun for kids this place is incredible! They also have THE BEST cider ever. You gotta check this place out.
Family fun, with seasonal events and farm fresh produce and greens. Top notch!
My second time here and me and the kids loved it I highly suggest the butterfly chips and apple cider donuts are worth the trip
A great place to spend time with loved ones on a fall morning/afternoon. Bring your kids!
The wooden playground is reason enough to return many time.
Alwalys liked Linvilla as a kid, and now taking my kids there. Now with Ship Bottom brewing on site, I enjoy it much more as an adult.
It always feels like autumn when I'm here. Their store is filled with cool knick knacks and has a very homey vibe.
Amazing pies! Great staff, very good selection of plants in their nursery
Awesome food, Fun hayride, Apple picking, AWESOME food would recommend
Rip off $7 for candy/ carmel apples. I never really pay too much attention to prices when out for fun with the family but this is outrageous.
Amazing, fun for the entire family. Hayrides to the orchard and a wide selection of fruits, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, peaches to make a few. The farm market had lots to offer. Will definitely be back for more.
This place is going downhill fast in terms of service. Have not encountered one single cashier, on multiple trips, who was not rude, or just plain bothered that I had interrupted their time with my purchases. Prices marked will NOT be what you get charged at the register, so pay attention.
Always enjoy going to Linvilla. So relaxing and enjoy the exhibits and seasonal displays. Good food and delicious choices of great things to purchase.
