I used to love this place but now it is just so over the top commercial and insanely crowded all of the time. It's a shame really.
Lots to see and do. Fruit and vegetables are fabulous
Linvilla has always been known for it's flowers, plants, fruits, veggies and baked goods. They recently added a beer garden and food trucks to the activities. Went out on a Sunday afternoon to check out the latter. Very disappointed. Beer garden was open, but, no food truck; no grill. False advertising.
Linvilla Orchards is one of the best growers in the tri-state area. From Christmas trees to veggies they have so many things in their Farmers Market. The apple cider is so good and you can't forget to pick up those delicious cider donuts. We pick up a dozen every time we go. Halloween brings in all of the ghosts and ghouls for a ride to the witches house, so weekends can be really busy in October. November and December brings in many families for the homemade pies and the Christmas trees. My husband and I love visiting in the fall for the Harvest Moon Hayride and then we go again at Thanksgiving to cut our own tree. They have a nice selection of trees on their lot and the trees in the field are hard to pick from. Picking a tree to cut yourself has become one of our most treasured traditions. Try a visit, you'll be hooked too. I suggest going a little early because some of the breads sell out fast.
Our go-to place for Apple Cider, Apple Butter, Dutch Apple Jam, plants!
Love this place me and my fiance come here alot. We love it we never come home empty handed.
absolutely lovely Atmosphere them birds are pretty. pumpkins for dayz.
Today it was way to crowded. I can handle being there most times, today it was way too much. Staff was still friendly even with some rude people in front of us. Very impressed with how they handle themsleves.
We did the witch hayride for the first time and it was a fun experience with the kids. The wait in line for the hayride wasn't bad at all.
Nice family place. Enjoyed the hayride. They have the best apple cider
Such an awesome spot anytime of the year! The animals, playground, mazes, and fruit picking are all top notch! My kids love this place!
What ever time of year you go this is an amazing place.
I like it,but its over priced, they charge for EVERYTHING,you have to pay $5 to go pick apples!? Then pay for the apples, kids have to pay just to go to the park smh.
This used to be my number one farm for my children since I was a little girl and I am well in my forties now it has changed drastically over the decades and not for the better it is nothing but a huge commercialize money-making pit with outrageous prices in their market and for everything included. The crowds alone make it so enjoyable.
Love took my children there for years and I am blessed to enjoy it with my grandchildren.
ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES TO GO
TRULY FULL OF LOVE
Wow, they have a minutuare golf set up in their Garden Center. It's great! What a fun time. They partnered with a Museum ( forgive me I think it's the Museum of Natural Sciences) to create this great informative and fun minature golf display. We took our Granddaughter and had so much fun playing and interacting with other families and children. Can't be beat. Go. You and your family will have a fun, amazing and informative time!
Makes the best pies for the holidays, but you have to be sure to call ahead with your order.
Lot of entertainment options for kids... Very well maintained.... N produce is great n cheap
Linvilla is always awesome. Today I took the hayride to the witches house for the first time. While 1 witch told some pretty cool jokes, the other 2 have out some nice chewy sugar cookies. The rides are always relaxing and rewarding. At the end of the ride we were able to roast marshmallows and drink cider. The cider is fresh and refreshing. The ticket prices are reasonable, $10 per person. The pumpkins range in different sizes and the smallest ones start at $.99 a pound, which isn't bad. The bigger ones start at $.79 a pound, reasonable. There's a pretty cool wooden play area for both younger and older kids up to age 12yrs. There are tents that sale different foods and drinks. Nice huge sitting area. All around this place is great(!) Family friendly and worth the smiles on kids faces.
Fun for all of my kids ages 2 to 11. Everyone had a great time picking fruit, feeding the animals, playing on the playground and lastly finished up the afternoon with ice cream!
Linvilla is great for kids young and old. It is an experience
Great place! Crowd size can be overwhelming. Smoking allowed on the premises except where signs are posted in smoke free zones. Hand sanitizer stations run dry fast and change machines can't be depended on. Signs say no dogs allowed but I saw about 4 dogs and only one of them was a service dog so maybe they're just not allowed in certain spots.
The hayride is a must and only $6 per person. $1 to play in playground which is awesome, even I wanted to play in it! The market is awesome, everything is just awesome.
Love this farm. Perfect place for a family to spend a day lots of fun stuff to do all year round.
Plenty to see and do here beyond just apple picking. Hayrides, mazes, playgrounds, petting zoo, food, decoration shopping, face painting, apple cider donuts, etc.
The registers are $5 minimum for credit cards, but take cash. There was only one working ATM, so plan ahead with your cash. They do charge a lot for each thing individually, which is my only complaint.
Great for family fun and for kids. Strollers are fine in the village area, but not recommended for the apple orchard or mazes.
I love Linvilla and always go for Halloween, at the very least. Picking fruit is always a great time, too! I wanted to go this year to get a Christmas tree and maybe grab a pie, but after checking the site, $70 to cut my own tree is absolutely ridiculous. I understand I'm paying for the experience as well, but 70 dollars?! When I'm getting into the dirt to hack it down myself? I can go to nearly any stall in my neighborhood and grab one of equal quality, with all of the work done, for 20 bucks. Linvilla has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but the memory of cutting a tree is NOT worth $70. Sorry, guys. I can't justify paying more than $50, and even that's still overpriced.
Some fruits and vegetables that they promote were missing :(
I can't stand this place. It's the most over rated orchard that I have ever been too. I was just there for the kids hayride. And everyone knows there is a virus going around. This place was shoulder to shoulder with ppl. and this place is not small. No one could or. Been 6ft apart that's how crowded it was. So it almost seems they are just worried about making money quick instead of the health of their customers. If you have been there then you already know.
A unique and exciting place for kids. It is the only place I know of selling Johnathan apples.
playground is great
Pick your own fruit and veggies is fun
Awesome place to take the kids! There's a ton of fun stuff to do and beautiful things to buy!
Linvilla is a family favorite! We go every year to pick blueberries, and of course enjoy the fall activities! Hayrides, pumpkins, animals to pet, and a super fun playground for our little one!
Very nice place you pick your own and lots of things to do
I don't love that place. Quality is good but prices are high, and place is super busy. I prefer smaller orchards.
Our Center visited and had a great time on the hayride and picking our pumpkins. The props for Halloween were amazing.
Got beautiful sunflowers. Some nice looking produce, but a little pricey.
Love this place can't wait to make it there one of these years at Christmas time. .
A truly wonderful outdoor experience and one-of-a-kind in Delaware County.
We come every year to buy a pumpkin and enjoy the activities. We start with the animals and then the corn maze and hay ride. After eating in the outdoor food court including caramel apples, we head over to the Pumpkin Patch to find our fav pumpkin. Linvilla prices can be a bit expensive but since they give us so many activities and free fun we never hesitate to buy our pumpkin and fall goodies here. Where else can the kids, pet a goat, ride a little train, climb monkey bars, shoot apples, run the maze, get face painted, here the music, and the list goes on...only here at Linvilla. I hope they are still around for my grandkids. We also bought our Christmas tree here a couple of years.
Great memories from here as a kid who grew up right down the street. Unfortunately now all it seems to be worried about is making more money. Quality has gone down but the prices have gone up.
First time my grands had a great experience veggie shopping!
Always a great stop! Helpful, friendly staff. Fantastic selection of natural products in the market. Family and child-friendly activities.
For me, Linvilla is steeped in nostalgia. Their charm and appeal hasn't dulled a whit since my first trip ages ago. Their wreaths cover our door. Their plants bring light into our home. Their knowledgeable staff make visiting a pleasure.
We had a great time going apple picking! So happy we got to do this even during the pandemic. Everyone wore masks & social distanced. We got a ton of apples & also got to check out the farmers market. Such a beautiful place!
When I'm in Media I almost always stop here to do some shopping. Sometimes for plants or groceries but always for apple cider doughnuts. On days I have time I'll even walk around and say hi to the animals. This is a great place to bring kids. Especially in autumn when there are hay rides and mazes.
Family friendly farm with games, activities, gift shop, groceries, hayrides, mini-golf. Well maintained facilities and great staff. My family had a really nice time even though there were a lot of people there.
Great place to bring the family. They have a great playground for kids and their U-pick is fun.
Love love love Linvilla.... best apple cider and apple cider donuts ever it's worth the trip
Great place for kids. Bathrooms needs to be updated
Highly recommend the apple slingshots. 5 bucks for a bucket of apples and good family fun. We go here every year and it never gets old. We also love feeding the animals every year.
Love this place!!! Amazing country store with fresh items of great quality. Jams and preserves are super delicious and home made. Love the peach ice cream!!!! Delicious chunks of peach bites in icecream and creamy but not too sweet. Bought a loaf of wheat bread and was the softest and freshest quality bread.
The nursery also has many selections of beautiful, well maintained flowers and plants. Very organized and not over priced items. Great place for children entertainment and many optons for the whole family. Definitely recommend to everyone.
Great place. Was disappointed with the peaches this year. They went bad fast.
We liked it a lot! It takes a long time to see everything ... I would say at least half a day ...
I have been going here since I was little so that would be 51 years. It is awesome.
Great place for the kids/ family. Had a wonderful time.
Good as always and the beer garden addition is great!
Amazing location to visit during fall time. Includes many shops, hey ride, and my favorite part is are all the live stocks they have. Family friendly.
