We cut our own Christmas Tree here and my son loved every second of it.
Felt safe and comfortable. All staff and customers wearing masks.
Love this place. We go every fall. Fun for all ages.
They have a creepy giant doll with a mask on. How scary for kids. No thanks.
Always a great time and awsome food there. Something to see and to buy... Just love it there
Fun, food, great place to take the little ones! Pricey!
Seasonal themed products/attractions .. Pumpkin patch, hay rides, food/drink, plants for sale, playground, feed or observe live animals/mini-zoo, and a newer beer garden ..
This is a great place to stop at for a while with children of all ages. Always something fun to do, beautiful plants, and awesome gift shop and the staff is ALWAYS friendly! They have animals too! Highly suggested to visit on any day of the year. I discovered Linvilla Orchards last October and its been a favorite stop ever since. So worth the stop!
Great place for all seasons to visit. My family an I enjoy visiting there all year long. Great employees. An well maintained.
About that Pumkpkin Spice Life? Wanna kick off that cozy fall feeling? HELLLLO LINVILLA! This place is ideal for the entire family. Peruse the endless selection of plump pumpkins, big and small. Take a hayride through the lush field, snap your perfect selfie amongst an eyecatching display of characters or shop the food and gift market for some delectable goodies. If you need some down time head over to the beer garden or follow your nose to the various foodtrucks. Free admission and Free parking.Pets allowed in certain areas, however it's very crowded,so I wouldn't recommended bringing our furry friends, unless you can tote them and they aren't afraid of people, Enjoy!!
Went on the Saturday prior to Halloween. It was extremely crowded, which was too be expected. However, the food area was insufficiently staffed and everything from food to fruit & veggies were over priced. Saw a few nice X-mas pieces but again these too although beautiful were extremely over-priced. Everything costs from the pumpkin patch, hay rides, etc. It's a great day trip for the kids but beware & bring plenty of cash. (They do take CC's)
A wonderful family owned farm and orchard that it's open year round with top quality products and fun for the whole family. The admission is free but stuff sold on site is a bit pricy. For exanple corn is 59 cents per ear. Even so I highy recommend this place. Takes just a few hours to see all the animals / grounds.
Perfect for families and kids. Brought my 3 year old with a bunch of her cousins for the day and all of them had a great time. Long lines are the only things that affected the mood of the kids but everything was perfect. Awesome place for kids or even to bring a date.
Fun place. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now I get to bring my own. It's definitely scaled up over the years. The new shops are nice, but a little pricey. I suppose you get what you post for though - their produce and pastries are top notch, and I really appreciate the expert talks and demonstrations they'll have from time to time.
Great place for my 16th month old to look at the animals and take a relaxing hay ride. This was on a nice Fall day many more activities for all ages.
Had a great time here with my children alot to do and see
Great place for the kids to play and enjoy the out doors.
Take the family there for a great fall day together. Great playground for small kids. Wonderful bakery, plants, produce and market. Outdoor food stalls not the most sanitary. Bring extra wipes, water and napkins...oh, and bee repellent.
Great farm to spend an afternoon and evening. I did however, get food poisoning so be careful with the food.
perfect pumpkin fun!
we fished as well and they didn t charge us
Always something for everybody at Linvilla Orchards. Lots of specialty items you won't find at the grocery store.
The fishing is good there. Sometimes I wish there was a way for the goose droppings to be able to be cleaned up better. Very nice though
Too much crowd on Sunday evening and no mask enforcement either.
Pumpkin collection was great though and a lot of parking space.
I love to visit Linvilla and I see that business seems to be great during this season. Other then it being crowded it was not a bad experience. The bathrooms were not horrific, even the Porter-potties weren't to scary. The line to the hayride moved quickly. You don't really get to "pick" a pumpkin, which isn't as fun. The food was great and I think I prices went up on everything. I would suggest they list all the prices and deals of every activity online so families can come prepared.
Great mini store of fresh baked goods, locally made items and nationally sourced spreads, etc. They have a socially distanced hay ride etc. But we skipped that. The garden store is huge and has a wide array of plants for purchase which si nice. I saw only one person without a mask (she took it off to smell a candle briefly) so they are quite serious about staying as safe as possible too.
Bought a blueberry pie on sale in celebration of National Pie Day.
This big wonderful farm and market has fruit and vegetable picking all season and an amazing set up for donuts, apple cider and other goodies in the fall! The prices and parking are great too. Very kid friendly or a great date spot.
I love this place, from the seasonal fruits, pies and home and garden products to visiting their animals, you can spend hours at this place, if you have kids is specially fun!!
Taking the kids out to Linvilla is a great way to spend an afternoon. They have tons of animals to feed (you can usually buy a bag of vegetables at the market for $1 specifically for the animals). They have a huge playground that my kids love! Lots of seasonal and weekend activities.
I personally find the farmers market a bit too expensive on most things and I steer clear during the holidays when everything is overpriced.
everytime i go to see the farmers market, they're closed
curse me and my incredible timing to arrive at 6:05 PM
Kids love feeding the animals. The pumpkin patch is terrific. Lots if neat items to look at in the store and the pies and breads are great.
Great place for adults and children, great food and awesome staff.
I went there specifically to buy the Jewish apple cake that I had been familiar with and loved very much. But the representative told me they no longer are in business that is the company that made the previous apple cake. So I picked up a Jewish apple cake which he said has a denser interior than the other one. So he told me to try it and if I didn't like it to return it. I will keep you informed if this Jewish apple cake Meats my expectation.
So much has changed since my kids were little. It's still fun for the kids, but the playground is closed- in Linvilla's defense it is no doubt Covid related- and there are no grains to feed the animals anymore. The shop is still nice with a lot of selections.
Great food and pies, all picked fresh from their own farms. They have the largest pumpkin display I have ever seen. Plus the cheapest prices around for pumpkins and other wonderful produce year round. I have been going there multiple times every year, the place is more than 5 stars but that's all they will let you pick.
There s so much to do and it s beautiful! Fun for people of all ages!
Was not the authentic orchard experience I'd hoped for. Orchards should have farmers markets, not greasy fryer and fast food.
It great to shop here. Next time I'm getting them dessert surprise it pack on a Sunday
Always had the best time here doing the picking. But this year was little disappointed with the cherry picking. All that was left over was raw ones. But the raspberry and peach picking was good. Can have a nice time with family.
Amazing farm! The selection here is great from the greenhouse, to events, the beer garden, and the market. All of it was great! I loved it! Will definitely be returning each season with my family!
I used to love coming here as a kid. While the appearance has changed the experience remains the same
Always a family favorites whether you have young children or just like to go somewhere beautiful with yummy snacks and beautiful scenery
Its was too packed we only got to see the animals today
So disappointed in this place and what it has become. I grew up going here took my children and now today after taking our granddaughter it will be the last time we ever go. It used to be a nice fun family place now its run down dirty and nothing like it used to be. Seems the only important thing now is getting money and obviously not investing any back in to the place. Bought timed tickets because thats what you have to do now to still stand in line almost an hour after the time. Every sanitizer was empty no toilet paper or even soap in the ladies room (told someone) checked back an hour later and the bathroom was still the same ,there was trash and toilet paper all over the bathroom. Its half run down most of the animals they have are a ton of caged birds in cages that definitely should be bigger with that amount of birds in them. If you plan on going with someone in a wheelchair I suggest you find somewhere else it is definitely not wheelchair friendly. Its sad how a place everyone loves so much has turned in to a dirty run down place
Clean and organized. Lots of activities and fun for the kids. Good food, free parking, and no long lines. We enjoyed our trip and will go again.
Love everything some produce the animals so unique occasional stuff
We had a great time... the bathrooms are a mess... but the cider was great and the street corn was amazing
Linvilla Orchards is one of the best family friendly spots in Delaware County! From the market and garden center for your fruit and flower needs to the playground, trains, pony rides, animal feeding and pick your own fruits and vegetables, plus seasonal activities like Pumpkinland and Cut Your Own Christmas Trees, they always have something for everyone.
We like to go on slow days because our kids love to run around on the playground. It's fenced in and has two areas depending on the ages of the kids, so parents can play with them or have a seat on the bench and let them run themselves tired.
The market has plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a bakery in the back. Make sure to try the apple cider donuts, they're awesome!
While you're there, pick up a bag of animal feed and go back outside to feed the deer, horses, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. There's a snack bar for your own nutritional needs, too.
By far, my favorite part of the farm is the fishing pond. They have a catch and release program, no license needed. It's a stocked pond, so if you're bringing first time fishermen (or women!) they are almost certain to catch something.
The Pick Your Own section is also really nice. You get to go in the fields and select your favorite fruits and vegetables. During apple season in the fall you can couple this with a trip to Pumpkinland for a full day of activities.
We make regular trips out there, the kids love it, my wife loves the prices in the market and I enjoy getting outside for awhile.
Oh, and I'm told that in the last few weeks, there have been a TON of Pokemon Go all over the place. So, if your surly teen gripes, tell him he may find a rare pokemon =]
Beautiful experience, food a bit expensive, no discounts for toddlers or infants
Did a school trip and it was so much fun the children really had a lot of fun!!!
very cute and family friendly. they charge for EVERYTHING. even the playgrounf which i find a bit ridiculous.
Great experience with you pick your own strawberries, even during covid19. Farmers market has a nice selection as well.
Great place for a family to spend an afternoon. Try some fresh baked goods and bring some quarters to feed the animals.
Awesome place! A must-visit place if you are in the area especially if you have kids or its during Fall. Can't recommend enough.
Better remember your masks...
Still best farm around, great food, places for the kids too.
I've been coming here since I was little. I love to bring my niece and nephews here especially in the fall. It's a great place to get fresh produce and see the animals!
Great place to go to get out of the city ! Didn't get to try the beer garden but I'm sure I will get around to it next time.
Anyone who lives around here knows that Linvilla is quite wonderful for produce, baked goods, and gardening.
I highly reccomend going during the strawberry picking season. The strawberries are small, because thats what natural strawberries are like, but are literally fifty times sweeter and more delicious than strawberries you will find anywhere else. They are also cheaper.
Great place for the entire family to visit. Love it there!
Great place to get a Christmas tree (we did the cut-your-own). Loved the Belgian waffle food truck and the beer garden was a nice surprise as well!
Great place to spend a day especially in autumn. Mini is fun and entertaining. Bakery worth the stop
Great place to buy cider and those delicious. cider donuts they make, ECT.
Great afternoon with the kids. Plenty to do almost any time. Fall adds a whole new adventure with harvest and the pumpkin patch.
