We just checked the place out while on the island. The place is beautiful.

This establishment is quite nice and in a very central location with respect to the downtown area. Walking to and from this location can save a lot of effort compared to other locations, and it can save quite a bit of money on bike rentals. The spa is a great addition to their services, but it is pretty expensive.

We really enjoyed staying here last week. We had a lake view balcony room. It was awesome to sit on the balcony where you could hear horse hoofs, seagulls and the foot traffic while smelling the fudge shops. Room was spacious and staff was very accommodating. The spa was really nice too!

Review for the spa. The facial I got was excellent. Was really concerned about my redness but I came out looking flawless, didn't even need makeup afterwards. Very tranquil and clean environment.

Absolutely beautiful! Very clean. We selected a suite that overlooks downtown. Came up for my birthday and we were gifted a pound of fudge! Super nice staff! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Lilac Tree!!!

Our stay at Lilac Tree was wonderful. We got to check in to our room early, and it was a short walk from the dock. The balcony was wonderful, and the rooms were spacious and clean.

Great, quiet location in the middle of downtown for a good price. The room was very clean and colorful. We opted for a less expensive room without a balcony but our room had two comfortable queen beds with a tv, a separate seating room with a couch, chairs and a television, and double sink vanity. We also had a small refrigerator, microwave, and a single serve Keurig with coffee included. The staff was friendly upon check in and they even offered milk and cookies around 730pm. The hotel layout is a little different; their lobby is located inside a small alcove shared with a bookstore, toy store and a little boutique. You are unable to access rooms from the lobby, the elevator to the rooms is located in the alcove and their spa has a separate entrance downstairs. I will stay here again and would recommend that you do too.

Had a room booked for 10/8 to 10/11. Got a call on 10/6 that they were cancelling my reservation. No offer to book me another hotel as there were no available accommodations on the island. Had to cancel my entire trip and waste vacation days.

This is our favorite hotel so far on the island. We love to sit on the balcony and listen to the horses trot by. It is great to be right downtown.

This place is Pure Michigan! We love Mackinac Island and this is our go to place to stay. The rooms are awesome and well taken care of. The people our very friendly and accommodating! The location is easy to get to from the docks.

They helped with my wedding. Great people. Clean hotel and the spa is superb.
