This is the second time I've been here in 3 or 4 years. Really disliked the BBQ sauce last time, but thought we'd try again. Steaks are claim to fame, so tried those. Come on you guys, very expensive ( $30 for a goodish filet, $17 for an okay top sirloin) and you get a small piece of meat alone on a giant plastic plate, a wilted weary salad of lettuce and a piece of onion smothered and soggy with dressing, a bowl of beans, salsa, a piece of garlic toast. Baked potato or corn is EXTRA. Really? Never again.

The ribs were very tender and the service was awesome. Our waitress had worked there many years and she was very attentive. The BBQ sauce wasn't that great and they only had the one. Would be nice to see more variety. A little expensive but we had a great time.

I NEVER order a steak at restaurants because I am usually disappointed. Visiting for my Daughter's wedding and stopped in because a chain was the other option. Killed a 32oz porterhouse before my wife got through a serloin. FANTASTIC!!!! Next trip, this will be my first stop for dinner. Probably a 2nd or 3rd depending on time.

Very disappointed in our visit last night. One of our steaks came out raw and they threw it back on the grill then it came out so done and tough. They did another steak and that was still to done I wanted it pink in the middle. Wasn't worth the $111.00 they wouldn't do anything about the bad steak I still had to pay for it and didn't even get to eat it. Probably won't be going back there. The customers service sucked.....

Waited an hour for our food. A 3 top and an 8 top that came in after us had their food before us. Salmon was under cooked and then it was charred when it was "fixed". The baked potato was good and so was the live music. Will not be returning, though.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere! And when you can smell the wonderful aroma of steaks cooking before you even walk in the door, you know you are in for a treat. Staff was very attentive and the food was AMAZING! The pork ribs melted in my mouth. I will definitely be back!

Good steak, but very overpriced for what you get. It's a nice place to go 1 time, for the experience. The location has some historic significance, as a former stagecoach station, but there are better steakhouses in the Tucson area.

Nice to have a steak cooked over wood. I got a rare steak. That means the internal temperature should be in the 120' F range. That's warmer than body temp of about 98', which means the steak shouldn't feel child. Mine was very cold on the inside.

Staff is very nice. Breans and bread are good. Pecan pie is good, too.

I am a Tucson native. So old I was born at St Mary's Hospital. This place has been here forever. The steaks are always excellent and I have always been treated well. The beef ribs, if you try them, that will be it, if you like beef, the ribs will be all you will order from now on.
I read a one star rating on the ribs, what a joke. I read another where they said there is nothing for someone who does not eat meat. That's what I want....a steakhouse that doesn't serve meat. Lol try the beef ribs

This is my favorite restaurant in the whole world. Everything tastes amazing. My favorite is the pork ribs. Can't go wrong with the two pound porterhouse that you can cut with your fork.

I have taken vacations in July to come eat here every day for a week. It doesn't get any better than this folks.

Staff is always super friendly. The prices , however, seem to be climbing. And with an a la carte menu that adds up quickly. No longer a weekly or biweekly treat. Now it's only a few times a year. Have always loved this place though. Hard to drive by and not stop when those aromas trickle into your car.

I recently went out to dinner here and it was my first visit, however, I do not think I will ever come back. Everyone ordered what was called a dinner salad, which was served in an extremely small bowl and lacked in flavor. We were also disappointed to find that the "Garlic Toast" was simply just white bread with butter. The service was not the best either, the waitress came to take our order and we did not see her again until the check was brought to us. This was extremely disappointing especially considering the high prices.

Came to this predominantly white establishment and was told 10 to 15 minute wait. Wanted a relaxed meal. I am Hispanic and did not get a call for 40 minutes. I was apologize to as others came after me that were white and given tables and service. Honestly if you are a minority or a person of color not a good place to visit. I would recommend more culturally diverse establishments.

Great food. I ordered the filet with corn. If service was a little more on the spot I'd give 5 stars. All the same though it wasn't bad service so between the semi high prices and delicious food I'm saying 4 out of 5. Hope that helps.

Such a fun place, been going here since I was a child and my Dad would get me Shirley Temples. Great steak and chicken, wonderful live music, relaxed atmosphere. A little spendy but it's such a great steak House, and the staff is awesome!

Took my grandmother hear for her birthday dinner. She is from Los Angeles area and has had many expensive dinners in her life time. She said that steak from Lil Abner's was the best steak she has ever had in her entire life time. I couldn't agree more. Staff were top notch as well.

Dirty looking dingy old bar type steakhouse.hostess seated us at a bench next to hall leading in to main room so we moved to better table.food horribably overpriced.wanted a steak but was not spending that much plus very few choices.ordered pork ribs that were cooked on oven without seasoning at all.Had to order backed potatoes extra for 4 dollars.Finner salad was not even fresh. Would not recommend this as a steakhouse to take s large party unless you had plenty of money.

Just had a wonderful dinner on a Monday evening! We haven't been to Li'l Abner's for a couple of years and it was as good as we remember it.
My daughter had the 1lb porterhouse and she barely finished it. But she did. She let me taste it and it was juicy and flavorful, nicely seasoned. My wife had the salmon and it was done very much to her liking. They kind of poached it in aluminum foil in an olive oil and a ever so slightly spicy baste. She liked it so much she dipped her potato slices in it for extra flavor.
I had the baby back ribs which were fall off the bone delicious, along with a zesty barbeque sauce that complemented the smoky flavor of the ribs. Add the cowboy beans, Texas toast and baked potatoes rounded out a great meal.
Oh wait, I almost forgot an amazing hot fudge sundae with homemade fudge and a warm cherry cobbler topped by cold vanilla ice cream.
How do you spell delicious?
Highly recommend!
