Love coming back here for a great steak and fixings. Friendly staff. Great food and drinks. Entertainment hadn't started yet so missed that. Been coming here 55+ years, back when the menu was a Large or a Small.

I ate there once, 6 years ago. I have been thinking about it ever. It was amazing. I'm finally going back this Spring.

Came here for my birthday. Love the steak and the live music provided by Scotty. Our server Tucker was fantastic. Really enjoy the evening and will be back for the ribeye soon.

Fun place that's been around forever. Only wish they had smaller portions, not only for adults but especially for kids.

Salad was only lettuce. BUT The building and decor was super cool, take a camera for pics. The mgr was friendly.

Steak was too salty with a large bowl of beans. Salad was wilted and service extremely slow. I don't think they know what they are doing. This place really needs a revamp with better staff and management. Definitely overpriced. Despite the poor reviews, they continue to do bad. My guess, this is a money laundering operation. Stay away.

Simple roadhouse steakhouse with its own charm. The meat is simply seasoned, borderline over-salted, but good cuts.

Even after being gone 20 years the steaks are cooked to perfection. the salsa is still like stewed tomatoes but meat perfect without it!

2 hours for salmon and 2 steaks. Good thing we arrived with another couple.

Pretty darkly lit environment inside. Steak was great though. They have outdoor seating around the grills they use. Had it been a little cooler when I visited, we might have sat outside.

I had the Salmon and it was so-so and why would re-fried beans and salsa be served with Salmon in a watered down sauce. As an aside, I am not into steak.

My wife and I went over there on a recommendation. I had read the reviews and expected good, over-priced food with no menu. I thought I knew what I was in for.

We ordered the Ribs and Fillet combo and split it. The fillet was grilled to perfection but had not been marinaded or rubbed and so the flavor was very subtle. I still enjoy the naked flavor of a good Fillet so this was not necessarily an area of extreme concern... just not expected, based on the reviews I've heard about how good and flavorful the food is.

Yes, I'll admit the ribs were excellent and the portion was big. As I expected, the entree was pricey but here's the straw that broke the camel's back for me: Folks, they charged us $12 for an empty plate and we had to cut it and split it ourselves.

Atmosphere is picnic tables outside and it took them 25 minutes to bring me a glass of wine. By the time I got it, the meat was mostly gone and what was left was cold.

Overpriced? Yes. Justifiable? No.

Way over priced for what you get and service was mediocre at best. Had a table of 6 and not one steak was cooked to order all of them were over cooked

This was the first time that I had ever been to Li'l Abner's and we were able to sit outside on there patio. The food was great and they had live music. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Food is always good. Portions are a little strange but thats okay given the quality.

The 2 stars is for the service I recieved. I actually called ahead and made reservations, then called back a 2nd time to confirm just how many were coming... And they had completely forgotton that I had called earlier. Which is okay, because It was Thursday so we didnt really need to make a reservation anyways.
So when we showed up they seemed to be expecting us inside. But I made reservations for outside sitting. When i told the hostess this she seemed to be somewhat annoyed. But brought us out there fairly quickly and my dad and I had to move the tables ourselves.

As a currently employed server its hard to write this but i feel as though my service was beyond poor. I would think that a server would be all over an 11 top, especially if its someones birthday. But because we sat outside for some reason we had the busser come over 5-6 times taking awkward half drink orders and saying our server "should" be here... We sat for 25 minutes before we got our 1st round of drinks. They weren't insanley busy inside so it was just the fact that we were outside they decided to mistreat us cause they had to walk far from the POS system or something... We got there at 630 with reservations, only had 2 1/2 rounds of drinks and left at 930... It took 3 hours to complete a service which in my book is an awful method of serving. I usually tip well even under circumstances because i work the same job. But for a place to have such prices i need more than a highschool wait staff.

A perfect place to go. First time I visited Li'l Abner's restaurant was in 1967. Things changed but not the good steaks . Good music, good service, a good evening. You should go there.

Got the 2 pound porterhouse, it was cooked exactly how I asked (med. Rare) amazing flavor, great service!

Known of this place for a while. Been meaning to try it for last 20 years. Finally made it in. Happy I did. Thank you for dinner.

Great ambiance. The steak, burger and ribs we ordered were cooked to perfection. The mesquite flavor from the pit is wonderful. Sides were adequate and the margaritas were fabulous. Maybe a little pricey but not outrageous. Staff were great!

Food has not lost a bit of amazingness! If you go out to eat at one restaurant this summer this needs It

Great service and really tasty meats and sides. We had two toddlers in our party and staff was very attentive. I had the beef ribs and they were great and served with a true barbecue sauce on the side that was outstanding.

Ask for the story of the building's and owner's. The history is cool to know about the area.

I was just a kid when I went to Lil Abners 58 years ago. The steak cooked over the fire was the best! Petite filet melted in my mouth! Music was fantastiv and created a great atmosphere. I didn't like sitting at a picnic table though.

Slow service. Poor value for high prices. Pretty hard to cook a 1/2 in T Bone med rare if you cook it at all. Probably won't return.

We have been coming here since the 1980's. Excellent steak and great meal.

Worst porterhouse I have ever eaten. Dont think I will be coming here for a second time.

I used to think this place was great. It wasn't the food, it wasn't the atmosphere. IT was the service. The service from one waitress "Sherry" who always recognized us with a smile and nothing less than Outstanding Service. I don't know her personally and I am not an angry relative. But, I am extremely disappointed to find out that she was let go for alleged "Poor Service?" Not hardly! Even on her worst days, you would never know it. She always had stellar service with a smile and was so personable. That's what brought us back, time after time over the years. I refuse to support a Business any longer who treats a good person and hard working loyal employee this way after many, many years of excellent service. Especially to find out that she was let go by a TEXT MESSAGE? Shame on you Li'l Abner's. You definitely lost our business and I imagine many more customers will feel the same way once they find out. Word of mouth for you is about to change. It's a real shame!!!!

Love love love this place. We heard about it from friends and couldn't wait to try it out. I cannot fathom why people have written such scathing reviews, unless it's simply because they are too stuck up to enjoy an authentic cowboy-style restaurant.

The steak and ribs are just incredible.... they literally melt in your mouth. The all you can eat garlic bread is simple but delish, and the salad isn't fancy but very fresh. The baked potatoes were piping hot and cooked all the way through, which is another thing I find to be rare these days.

I found the service to be very laid-back but very good. You don't have a server coming to your table every 5 minutes interupting the meal to ask how it is. I hate that! How can I tell you if the meal is good if you don't let me eat it, right? Loved our server. Loved the decor (it's unique and showcases the long history of the establishment.) We have a four year old and the staff was totally understanding about him wanting to walk around the restaurant and touch things. Our server interacted with our son the entire time, which is rare these days (most servers kind of ignore kids, or seem annoyed by them.)

Again, I have to reiterate that the food was AMAZING. Totally worth the price. And the amount of food you get for the price is pretty legit. No they do not have a written menu. If you are too dumb to listen to a server list off maybe 7 items and choose one from that list.... Well, I can't say much to help you, partner.

Service is absolutely a disaster! I'm here now didn't get my food for 50 mins and when I finally got it they messed it up and few other people here having same problem. Getting wrong beverages over and over for my coworkers I don't drink. Stake is cold. My corn is definitely not making and I attempted to order a dessert she said she will see what they have but never made it back. Over all I dont recommend this place!!!

Home cooking, friendly, steak cooked to perfection over mesquite on outside grill. A true Southwest steak House. Nothing fancy just good eats.

So sad the prices have gone up too far and the food has went down hill. We only went to have great customer service from Sherry. This company has made a huge mistake. Employees are your bread and butter. Sherry has made your establishment what it is today.

We were excited to eat here due to its history. Unfortunately, at age 60, I have never ate anywhere in my entire life that took so long to get our food. They were busy, but not even close to capacity. The steak was good but not great and over priced for quality IMO. The beans were cold and the salad was very basic. The baked potato was good. The history and atmosphere are special. It's a fun unique place. However, there are A LOT of steakhouse that are much better. The only fish dish is salmon and they bake it. They said they don't grill it because it falls through the grate on grill. Come on, it is SO easy to grill Salmon and it would be soooo much better! Cool place but ungodly slow to get your food! Over priced for quality. Sad to say we won't return...
