I became a member of this parish just about nine months ago. The homilies are inspiring and delivered by very caring priests. The congregation is friendly and there is a great feeling of community in this church. The music is a super important element of the weekly service. Two weeks ago (September 6th @ 10) the music was beautiful! I was completely moved by the amazing young voices coming from the choir space. They would sound even better singing contemporary praise and worship music each week!

Father Mateuz or however it is spelled, has amazing insight and sermons.

The two times I've gone people are rude and clearly unhappy. Once I was sitting next to a women and I said excuse me. Because mass was now over and i needed to walk out to go work right after. And st this point the father had already given the blessing and it was just the choir singing. She ignored me kept singing until again i repeated myself excuse me mam i need to walk out. And she snaped! Gave me a dirty look like if I had asked for to much. I was in shock. She obviously doesn't follow God's ways nor have respect.

First time here. Not very happy with the way I was treated. Lady in the gift shop yelled at me for entering in the shop and not standingin line at the door. How was U to know about their rules. When I asked if they sold veils shebm rolled her eyes and said NO. Priest tried to force communion in hand. It felt sort of protestant, I insisted I don't take it in hand he finally gave in. If you love reverence, traditional and kneelers it's worth the drive to Holy Name. The families were reverent modest and dressed for church. I loved it. Praying for this church.

This Catholic Church is our favorite catholic church. The parish is warm and friendly and the two priests have added so much to teach all of us that God loves each one of us and we want to come to church and learn more about our faith. They are showing us how to show our brothers and sisters how we can help one another. It is a privilege to attend this parish and and learn about our other home, heaven.

from the nite i was lead to this amazeing house of god. I have experienced nothing but love have been takeing in and embraced by all thanks be to god and iam blessed he lead me here.

Homilies given in most cases are mediocre; Father needs to preach on sins and not try to make everyone feel good; on one homily, Father preached that we should not grief too much for the dead because the dead are where they're supposed to be, with God. Well, that's fine and swell ONLY IF they are in heaven, BUT we don't know that. At best, the dead are likely in purgatory, at worse, in hell. Letting people believe that loved ones are in heaven instead of in purgatory is very uncharitable because the living will not pray for the dead. Father needs to preach purgatory and souls there desperately need prayers!

I have yet to find a perfect priest.

First time going was yesterday for Christmas Eve. I am from Texas n have lived here for almost 3 years. I finally felt like I have found a home!!!

This my place to go for worship, and I do love my church!!

Homilies are not "mediocre"! [ if you're listening! ] that comment is totally without merit.

Fr. Michael is my reason. He has done so much for our church and community.
