Really nice golf course but lacking some essential amenities. You are very much in need of a pace of play marshal. Also, looking for a sprinkler head to determine distance is a waste of time. Another much needed amenity would be having signs on the tee boxes showing yardage and the layout of the hole ahead of you. Just my two cents.

On Friday afternoon, 6/15/2018, my friends and I arrived around 3:45 for a 4:37 tee time. We waited in line for a bit, to check in, which was fine but seemed there was no sense of urgency. Furthermore, we smiled and thanked them for there time, but the gentleman helping us was grumpy as ever. My friend who arrived after us, said he stood in line for 15+ minutes just to check in, as well.

We talked out loud about hitting practice balls at the range, to find out the range didn't accept cash or credit cards, so we had to go back to get a 'code' for the range balls. That would have been a nice tip to throw in when we were at the front desk checking in.

We had gotten and paid for carts up front. when we asked if they would give us the keys, they said you can just take any cart that is out front. Our friend who arrived a little bit later was told the same thing, but there were none out there, so he searched on his own, for a clean one with out clubs, no one assisted him.

After we hit a few balls at the range, we heard our name called over the speaker so we went to the first hole tee box. When we went to drive through, the gentleman stopped us and asked where we were going? I said " to the #1 tee box." he responded rudely with a "No you're not!" I said we're the name you just called?, and he said, okay you can go through, but why that rude response to begin with?

When we finished up and dropped our carts off, we were walking our clubs back to our car, on a paved pathway, and a man moving 'dirty' carts through drove so close up behind us with out saying anything and then we noticed and moved out of their way. He spend on by with out saying a word.

The course was in good shape, and we enjoyed golfing it but the lack of customer service was a serious buzz kill, and will likely lead to different decisions on where we golf.

Smile, be polite and say thank you. Pretty basic stuff.

Went to breakfast on a Sunday morning, and never got any attention from the 2 working behind the bar. the bartender just chatted away with the other bar staffer. After several minutes of waiting we finally just left. Don't bother eating here because they certainly have no time for you.

Starter and marshall did not wear face mask and both approached us. No covid at raccoon creek? Starter would not allow individual carts but we were not told until we were on tee. Covid ? Marshall was sitting on hole 8 and let us know how slow it was playing in front of us. I think we could figure that out on our own. Rather than speeding up play we waited on every shot as the group in front was 1.5 holes behind the group in front of them. Course was in good shape.

We have attended brunch at the barn for a couple years but this year they moved it to the club house. We were very dissatisfied with the whole brunch. All food in the chafers were cold, waitstaff was rude, and the drink tickets they gave out were not better explained.
We will not be returning for Mother s Day brunch. It was not worth the amount we paid for a subpar meal
They really dropped the ball with this event.

One of the best public courses in the Denver area. Rates are reasonable. The course has made some great improvements over the years with more likely to come. Great restaurant open year round. Definitely a must play.

We live right by this course, but always bypass it for courses a bit less expensive. Yesterday we finally took the opportunity to golf the course and really fell in love with it! The course is in great shape. Its challenging, but doable. I had signed up online, and inadvertently signed up for the wrong day. When I arrived at the pro shop they squeezed us in, even though they didn't have to do so. Super nice people in the pro shop. We'll definitely be back!

Great course, new Club House is awesome, more parking spaces will be coming soon once they remove the old Club House and how about those Colorado sunset views from the new outdoor seating area! Thanks for a great evening, Steve & Lorri Hose Your Castle Real Estate

HUGE shout out to the clubhouse event staff, but mainly Sam and Doug! Not only did they help me put together a rehearsal dinner a few weeks before, they both went above and beyond to make sure that the dinner was one to remember! And as far as the food, let's just say that Tyler and his staff's chicken parm was a HOLE IN ONE and their entire Italian buffet competed with our wedding meal with was 3x more expensive! Needless to say, if you are looking for an affordable event, regardless of the celebration, Racoon Creek MUST be at the top of your list! You will not regret it knowing you have the TREMENDOUS help of Sam and Doug every step! Oh and one last MUST HAVE, pay the small fee to open your personal bar and demand to have Heidi as your bartender! All in all, when it comes to choosing a location for an event, just read this review, Don't think, and book it! Thank you guys for everything!

Golf course and staff are great. Have always enjoyed playing here... but yesterday at approx 5pm we noticed a very large crowd (100 people) gathering. Apparently the PGA Junior league was gathering for an event and I was horrified to see not only the teenage kids, but their parents as well not distancing at all and not a single person wearing a mask. Hanging out in the bar / restaurant and it was apparent to me that no one cared. As a business owner / operator in hospitality I was very disappointed to see this happening. Management needs to enforce certain protocols to keep people safe. Sorry to say, I will not be back.

Never saw grass the entire round, course completely covered in goose poop. Had poop on my clubs, my bag, my shoes, my pants and all over my hands from touching everything else. I have played my last round at this course until they make some effort to keep the course clean.

I don't care what you say this course is NOT worth what they charge to play it. They must be trying to pay off their fancy new club house or something. The course is mediocre at best. For the price, I'd rather play a nicer course

They essentially swindled me into paying $79 for 18 holes even though I wanted to walk. they said it was a contract which isn t a thing. So definitely watch for that. that s couldn t ever be a thing.

Great track. Tried the golf board. Very fun but a bit of a workout. Very nice new clubhouse. Lots of water here. A bit pricey but I had purchased a 4 pack at the last Golf Expo and saved a bunch.

Google account is under Deb but Bob is posting for his golf experience. Why would you send people out for 18 holes at 6:00 to 6:30 knowing they will be backed up on the turn catching the women's league, told in the clubhouse we would fly through our 18 hole round. Got to the turn and told we would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes to tee off, knowing we were stuck behind a league of golfers. After talking to the starter and person behind desk in pro shop they all agreed they were not sure why we would be able to set up 18 holes that early. I believe you all need to be on the same page for making the golf experience a good one, it was not. Have had two other experience's with this type of situation at your club, strike 3, will not be back.

Unless you are renting the venue don't bother with the restaurant cuz the service is awful. Food is okay. Been here before while renting for a funeral and decent service. Came here because of that decent service and it was awful. The wedding party next to us had terrific service.

Fun play. Most if not all the tee boxes were very unlevel. This course is for the thinking man. Every shot requires your absolute attention(I personally enjoy this). The carts do have a built in GPS and range finder, really makes it worth them money when compared to other local courses. My only complaint is that they made me take my clubs and belongs out of my cart and join up with another signal. Diffenitly not ideal since we were very far apart in our abilities. If 55 dollars is in you budget, then I would suggest this course.

Kim was very rude to us. I have spent thousands of dollars at racoon creek over the last 4 years playing 60-80 rounds there.

It is April 19th on a Friday at 7:00 pm and we finished our 9 holes. So we decided to play hole 10 again, with no one out there we thought no big deal.

We came back to play it one more time since there was plenty of day light left at 7:30pm. Kim yelled at us whoa whoa whoa what do you think you are doing? Did you pay for that? I felt very belittled as a guest and it gave a very bad representation for racoon creek. It is very unwelcoming to be talked to like that. I would gladly pay for the whole but we figured no big deal.

He then stated it was because he wants to go home but there were still golfers coming in on the back 9.

I will not be spending anymore money here and will encourage others to do so as well.

Until something is done about Kim and attitudes like that from paid hourly employees, I will not return. Golf is not a cheap game and people deserve to be treated better.

Came for 18 played 9. They pack the course and our 9 holes took 3 hours. We wanted to get a refund for the remaining 9 as it s the courses fault they are playing 6 hours for 18 holes on a Tuesday in October. It s ridiculous and of the 100 rounds I ve played this year it s the longest 9 I ve had.

For the $$ there are soooo many better courses in Denver.
It also took just 5hours to finish (on a Monday 12pm start.
When it did finally end I was greeted by their miserable starter who began jamming me up for wanting my own cart on the back 9 in case I wouldn't have time to finish. Yes, he was upset i finished my round. I regret leaving my cart in the parking lot instead of driving it back....

Really unfortunate customer service + an equally horrible experience = you're better off spending your day watching golf channel reruns.

We played this for a 2nd time. It's a challenging course with undulating greens, fast rolls downhill, plenty of water, and well placed bunkers. From the black tees, you'll find enough game management stimulation without long yardage. From the white tees, it'll still be engaging enough. The golf surf board carts are a terrific addition to the course. There are only 12, so they can get booked up early on weekends. $6 more than regular carts or a $15 upcharge with a Avid Golfer Passport or VIP couponbook rate on weekdays, it's definitely worth a try. You can ride them square or snowboard/skateboard style. Start at the slow speed, but move it to high speed when you get comfortable. They are a bit squirrelly for slow speed and tight turns, but you'll get the hang of it likely on the first 9. Fun day!
