I received an email saying they were not going to contest anything but rather they'd try to "verify the details" which I already did. I was in Iraq when these charges happened and I already wrote these companies. All Lexington had to do was send the paperwork out to them. Not sure why anyone would pay to hear the "facts" about a case when I already gave them to Lexington.
They also waited 12 days to send any paperwork out. April 6th - April 14th. I was told on the 6th it would be sent out the next day and apparently was not.
I see this as nothing more than a scam to make money and that's unfortunate because they did seem legit even though 85% of the reviews were negative.
I will not even answer their calls or emails let alone refer them to anyone. If you want their level of help, just go in your back yard and burn $100. Same thing
They will sound great the first day, after that, you'll never hear from them except a few emails. But don't think you can send them emails back. And their "Contact Our Team" is BS. No one responded. The IM chat that they have available didn't answer under 45 minutes later.
I'm beyond pi***d. Waiting for 10 minutes now to speak to a rep, because I can't find anywhere on the website to terminate my service.
PS: a removal isn't always a good thing. It can be removed but still be in dispute. It can come back.
I paid over hundred dollars to see my credit score because that's all I got from this service !

I was extremely impressed with Lexington law. Extremely helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I base my success on repairing my credit solely from working with Lexington law. The reason behind 4 stars not 5. I feel I need to explain. If you plan on repairing your credit definitely use Lexington law! The only reason I am no longer a customer with Lexington law. Getting an email every so often is very Impersonal. I feel calling your customers is much more personal and shows that you are much more sincere about helping a person repair their credit. Use Lexington law there absolutely amazing! I personally just didn't like the fact that they would just send an email and never a phone call about the situation. I always had to call them.

Very unpleasant experience. Had a strong possibility of going with Lexington but the rep on the phone was quite unprofessional, rude and would not let me get a word in whatsoever. Then told me Lexington was the only credit repair for the state of Texas for me and my friends which makes the assumption that all my friends are in TX. After he interrupted me the fourth time I just hung up!

They charged a card that wasn't even on file, then wanted to lie and say Bank updated the card number. i called the bank and they said they did not. also the settled with the FCC for using unlicensed agents.
Scam much? My credit consistently goes down and now all my creditors are after me and in full force. I ve been sued 5 times since I started. Save the money and do it yourself or pay a private party to help.

Lexington Law did exactly what they advertised! Within one year my score went up with all 3 credit agencies. Along with paying my bills on time and following the do's and dont's of credit building from their paralegal team and their educational notes on their dashboard. I also used them to improve my wife credit and I am about to send my niece to them as well. Depending on the state you live in it can be pricey but you can't argue with the results.

Lexington Law is one of the single best financial decisions of my life. I used them from 03/17 - 05 or 06/17. Against my judgement we went for it. My wife, and I were extremely nervous about this place after reading some of these reviews. They brought my transunion credit score from 538 to 645 in a matter of 3-4 months. I would gladly post screenshots if credit karma allowed it. So that $420-540 we payed L.L. took out about $1,400 I didn't really owe clean off my credit. All in all the best investment I've made yet. They decimated all the fraudulent accounts on my credit, and I could not be happier. If I was foolish enough to let this happen again. These guys would be the first place I'd turn to. Lexington Law Firm not only took money out of my account on the wrong day it was for the wrong amount. I was on a three way phone call the day I initially setup their service, my mother and I planned to take advantage of their deal they have on credit repair. The monthly service was for the amount of 129.95, but was told since it was two parties trying to repair their credit then we could split the cost which would have been 64.50 for the both of us, we were told we were not under contract and could cancel at anytime we both agreed, not only did we agree on the amount but we also agreed for our first payment of 64.50 to be deducted on Dec. 7, 2018. The morning of Decemeber 4, 2018 there was a charge of 129.95 taken from my account. I immediately called the law firm to get my money back and cancel their service and was assured that I would get my refund back in full, and the money would be back in my account the following day. I proceeded to check my account the following morning and there was no refund. Once again I immediately called the law firm only to get more misleading information from a rep yet again. She put me on a 2-5 min hold about three times to consult with her supervisor about the issue and so they can pull my other phone call from the previous day . The rep returns to the phone only to tell me that the 129.95 was a valid charge and that i would not get any refund, after explaining to her the mess up on their end and how I called the previous day only to be assured i would indeed be getting my full refund back, the rep puts me on hold yet again. The rep gets back on the phone in a hurried voice telling me that i would get a FULL refund within 3-5 business days, seeing how I was given false information once before, I asked to speak with a supervisor to confirm I would be getting my refund only for the rep to argue with me and tell me there was NOT a supervisor for me to speak with. On December 6, 2018 I received a refund for half the amount and once again NOT on the day they were authorized to take anything from my account.lexington law is a SCAM DO NOT USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that this is a great company! I started out with horrible credit and I really felt there was no hope. I came across this company and they have increased my credit by at least 150 points for all three credit bureaus. There is about 35 neg items on my credit from stupid things being younger and so far there has been 11 removals without my paying them off. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Worst business ever, services offered are fraud. They twice took unauthorized money out of my account. Services are only sending letters and you are told 2 months to see action while they charge you every few weeks for a waiting service. They don't fix anything the just ask to verify credit score and reports. Total fraud and thieves...

Never ever and I mean never give these rip offs a dime of your money!!!!!!! I have been trying to close a account for the last 4 months and they still keep taking money and they refuse to reimburse me. Oh and they told me they canceled. The way I had to stop them is cancel my card.
We canceled services and was told we would receive a $109 refund for the month because we canceled and they still charged us and we ve YET to be refunded and it s been over a month.
Ever since I've had Lexington Law working on my credit , I've seen a steady and gradual jump in my credit score and have had numerous challenges result in the removal of several blemishes on my report. I am very much looking forward to having them continue to clean up my credit.
Called for a free consultation. Talked to a supervisor paralegal in Connecticut that only wanted to argue with me regarding collections , she was rude and didn't want my business. One has to wonder why this woman is pretending she knows laws in other states regarding debt collection. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Here is some free advice to everyone dealing with a debt collector . If a credit card company did sell the debt to a third party, the original creditor would then lose his rights to collect later. This means that your credit card company probably took a tax credit, an insurance write-off, or some such action that makes the credit card company unable to collect the debt after that point. They destroyed their records, and they moved on. The collection company does not have the original agreement with your signature, and they know that they have no case against you...unless you make the mistake of making an agreement with the collection company and then making a payment on it. Since there was no meeting of the minds between you and the collection company, a necessary element required to create a legal and binding contract between the two of you, their claim is repudiated.

Why can t you leave zero? This place is a joke, they charged me $50 for a $25 service I cancelled on day six so they wouldn t refund me the hole amount. They spelt my name wrong on ever single paper work I printed out from them that I was supposed to send off. And they dated 75% of them with the wrong dates. There is a reason they only have 2.5 stars. Do not use this law firm!

It's kind of crazy to go through these reviews and see that most of them are 1 star reviews. The only reason why I signed up with this company is because my clients highly recommended this company to me for credit fixing and collection debt. I really hope that I don't regret this decision and that my case will get worked on very soon. The first person that I spoke with gave me attitude and tried to lecture me about pointless subjects while being cocky about it. Completely waisted my time for 15 minutes. I asked to speak with a supervisor and reported him. Shortly I was transferred to a 3rd person and met my needs and signed me up. Maybe this company only hand picks out the cases they want to work on and the rest of the clients are screwed. This review will change if I see results and actions.

Well for starters like most people I did some research on the company before I signed up and let me tell you.... The reviews I've been reading were nothing short of a Stephen King novel, but I was determined to get my credit cleaned up as I was beginning a search for a Car, Apartment, etc. The initial phone call was the worst part for me, once I learned the monthly cost of the services and the $15 credit report right off the bat, I was feeling like I had made a VERY bad decision. Rather than count my losses, close the account, and move on I decided I'd stick around for a little bit to see what the guys at Lexington Law Firm could do for me. After being enrolled for only a month(no lie) they have removed 4 of 21 negative marks and my credit score had gone up 72 points. One of the accounts I was actually starting the process of a repayment plan, but I decided to wait because I had a lot of $ tied up in other bills I wanted to pay off first. After A week I went to check my report and the account had been removed!! Now I get all these calls, and letters from banks offering me lines of credit it's ridiculous. So far I have been very pleased even though things got off to a rocky start. It is true that some of these accounts can be disputed by the individual themselves but you won't be able to get as many removed in a given amount of time as you would with some help. The most important thing to remember though is PATIENCE!! I thought they would have things removed in a week or two which is really unrealistic, but after a whole month and seeing this progress, I definitely do not regret coming to them. I would EASILY recommend them to anyone looking to repair your credit history. Side note: The monthly service fee is a little high, but if you can afford it, it's NOT a waste of money.

I had 14 negative items some which were fairly new and did not think for one second they could be removed, Lexington Law removed every single one. Although you might find expensive if you think in the long run it was worth every penny. I would definitely recommend Lexington law for anyone that wants to improve their credit and learn about credit which is extremely significant in keeping good credit. I have never had 5 star customer service that what Lexington law firm has gave to me .I must tell you that you must be patient with Lexington and let them do there job . But you must do your part as well with that said you will be on your way to good credit . To me Lexington is like a big brother watching over your credit report .
I used Lexington law as few years ago after being recommended by a friend. It's really expensive and I honestly think that it should be considered only if your credit is horrible. My issue was one of my credit scores improved but my transunion score declined and not just by a point or two but like 20 points over the course of using them. I called several times and ask them why my score was decreasing so much at one agency but the other two one improved and the other stayed the same. They could not answer that for me, it's kind of like they avoided the question and didn't even acknowledge I was asking them. I canceled my service and worked on repairing my credit myself and now my scores are all about even and pretty good. It's stupid if one of your credit scores improves but another one declines to a bottomless pit your still going to have bad credit.
The return of calls and emails are very appreciated on re establishing my credit.

I was told it would be 54.95 for me and my boyfriend would be 54.95 each with a total like about 110 and then after they got their money the 1st month the 2nd month I was charged 109.95 for each of us. almost $220 that's not what I signed up for and then even that we were both there to sign up and both there for me to cancel they him to log in through his account. My debit card was used, not his. They literally sent 3 letters out for me.

Very good if your credit is crap and you seem doomed...seven years I had this last creditor on my report and it would still be on there if I hadn't gotten in touch with LLF. Immediately they started working with me and yes you need to be proactive with them to get what you want. I messed up my credit when I was young but taking care of business now that I make more money. Got tired of living outta my car but now since I've gotten in touch with this law firm I can have a roof over my head again. Thanks LLF!
They also have an app if that's more convenient for you but their website is very intuitive and user friendly. I signed up and within a month they took down the hardest one to get off my credit, the rest followed soon.

They have worked so hard to help me get my credit score high and still working with them.They explain everything to me and how it works. They are Honest and very reliable I would recomend anybody that needs help with getting bad debt and making it postive for u .These are the people u need in ur life . It takes time to clear things up.Not saying ur debit is cleared up in a day or 2 it takes time. Patients is what u need. If you let them work on ur case don't rush them. They called me 7 times today; each time from an automated service asking me to hold on to speak to a representative. I dialed through and spoke with Abraham. I told him to PLEASE STOP, and hung up. He proceeded to call me from their 800 number 6 times in a row (immediately after).
Lexington Law is a ripoff! I've had them for 6 months and only had 4 removals from my credit report! I've sent them a copy of one of my credit reports and they never received it, along with other important docs. I called to complain about the slow progress and the paralegal was very nonchalant & offered to close my accounts, in which he did. So I sit here typing this sorry review and $600 down the drain!
They used to be good but now they have "paralegal" agents treating clients like garbage. I hired them a few year back for 2 years. I paid about $2000 for full 2 years.
Now a few days ago me and my mother decided to sign up with them. But my mother needed my help to translate for her while in the process of helping her with her credit which we called and some woman answers very low i dont wonna work attitude". She was very disrespectful to me and my mother cause she doesn't speak English and she never used a computer or the Internet they were THREATENING to HANG UP the phone if she won't verify her EMAIL address. My mother should not be treated like this.
We BOTH Cancelled our membership with Lexington Law and we did it because this Agent made me not trust this compay anymore .

My husband and I signed up last week. Our Credit (400s) is horrible due to late student loan payments and medical bills. We do not expect any changes overnight but hopefully after 3 years of service we want to be in the mid 700-800s. We are also working with our landlord to build positive credit through bridge credit plus. When we pay our rent on the 1st of the month. It will be reported to the credit bureau. We also plan on getting secured cards as well as establishing a line of credit with a local furniture store. Hopefully Nelnet agrees to our repayment terms so we can take care of that as well. Lexington Law will do their part, but you have to be willing to do yours as well. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help repairing their credit. However, I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a quick fix. Any company claiming that they can do that is a scam. It takes time to repair and rebuild credit.
This service is a SCAM!!! I payed for this service for over one year and never received anything. No actions were taken and the representative even couldn't understand what had happened.

I was shopping around different companies because I want to work on my credit again. I worked with Lexington Law before and had a great experience 5 years ago. I decided to get prices from them and this other company to see which one would be a better fit for me. I gave them permission to pull my credit reort while I was on the phone with them that is all. About 10 days later back in September I see a charge for $129.95 come out of my account I called them immediately and complained. They assured me my account was close and I would be done. Well today is November 4 and this company is trying to take $129.95 out my account again. I called and they are stating that is nothing they can do until it post to my account. I will never do business with them again if this is what this company is now about.
