I was fired from my job a year ago and went to this place. They say they help people but as I found out they really represent mainly companies. They are unbelievably rude and they charge a ton of money for absolutely nothing! Their main guy talks on the radio so I thought he was an expert. When I called to make a meeting for a consultation they said he charges over $1000 an hour!!! Unbelievable!! I paid them thousands of dollars and I got almost nothing at the end. Worse experience I've ever had with lawyers. Stay away from here!

I was absolutely aghast with the lack of professionalism displayed by Muneeza Sheik, to the point where I was concerned she might have been conspiring with opposing counsel. An unprofessional conduct complaint with LSO has been filed and civil action will follow. When I complained to Howard Levitt, he was dismissive and condescending.
I urge a high level of caution for anyone contemplating their services. Caveat emptor...

Probably the worst legal experience ever. My case was small potatoes as Muneeza Sheikh was too busy dealing with bigger clients which I found unfair. Paid her thousands just to tell me that my employer made me a good offer and that I should just take it. Could have done that myself. The other legal party tried to reach her on multiple occasions but she was never available. In conversation, she speaks down to people and is extremely condescending. I asked them to reduce the legal fees that were charged and they basically refused..So disappointing..Stay clear of this lawyer.

I made the mistake of hiring Levitt LLP. Rude, obnoxious, added more stress to an already stressful situation. Exorbitant fees in exchange for below adequate services and results, in my opinion. I understand now why he can afford to ditch his Ferrari in floodwaters.

I'm pretty sure my lawyer cancelled a crucial meeting just so he could do an interview with the media. His vanity comes before the good of his clients.

Howard Levitt is considered the top employment law negotiator and litigator for good reason. He has an incredibly comprehensive understanding of Canadian and American law that saves time and money. He is shrewd, highly experienced and well-respected. We leveraged all of that and got an excellent result swiftly, thanks to Mr. Levitt's laser focus on solving the problems. He doesn't have time to draw out his cases. He pounced on the problems and negotiated them away.

Levitt LLP is by far the best employment and labour law firm in the country. In my search for help, I contacted several employment law firms and Levitt LLP came out on top! My experience with LSCS Law was nothing short of outstanding. I received expert legal advice and brilliant strategies from Mr. Robert Taylor and Mr. Michael Vandermeer, two of the most learned and sharp minds I have encountered in any profession. Unlike many firms where clients wait endlessly for answers, they responded immediately and courteously to every email. The end result was a substantial victory. I can't praise Mr. Taylor, Mr. Vandermeer, and this firm highly enough

In general I found the service I received at Levitt was very good. My lawyer gave very direct and clear advice in the early stages of my case, creating realistic expectations regarding my situation. When it came to the point where she engaged on my behalf, she was very effective.

At times I found she was a bit slow to respond to emails. I put this down to her workload, but ultimately this did not create big problems. There were also some questions with regard to my final bill, but these were resolved to my satisfaction.

Overall, I would recommend Levitt, but with the caveat that you need to keep on top of things.

Tahir was very helpful explaining my rights and what level of compensation I should be entitled to.

I was wrongly terminated by my employer and retained Levitt LLP as my legal council. I found them very professional and knowledgeable in labour law and want to say thanks to Tahir Korasanee for a job well done and got me a settlement for more than we were originally asking for. Biggest mistake ever. I was laid off five years ago and it was to my detriment that my friend recommended this firm. I was going to go with a smaller firm and with a much lower rate and recommended by other friends. But then I was told about this firm because Mr. Levitt appeared in the media. Unfortunately, I decided to switch. I was assigned to Ms. Sunira Chaudri. In my dealings with lawyers for a variety of reasons, never had I seen a lawyer more unprofessional, lazy and unavailable. She dragged my case on for months and months despite my urging for her to not delay. She had no interest in advocating for me, in fact, she was busy buddying up with the HR contact and asking about her wedding plans!! I had zero trust in her! A couple of months after I was laid off, I got an offer for a short term contract. I begged her to expedite my case before word got back to my previous employer of this temporary contract as they might consider me having found employment. She did not and word got back to my employer and the severance I received was so pathetic and only a fraction of what I would have received otherwise. And on top of that, the firm got 15% of this severance because that was the contract we had. This would not have mattered if I had really found a job, but it was only a short term contract. So here I am, over 5 years later and in financial ruin because I have not been able to find a permanent job because of my highly specialized qualification, my age and inability to move outside the province being a single parent with a spouse in the GTA. All these factors would have qualified me for double of what I actually got. And to my horror, I see that she has now become a partner. Unbelievable! Other lawyers might be good at this firm but beware the one I got stuck with!!
