Reached out to them for some legal advice and was connected efficiently with a partner (Sunira Chaudhri). The person who answered the phone and the Partner both were very understanding, tried to help as much as possible. Sunira gave me amazing advice which resolved my issue within 24 hours! Her advice was free as it was during out 15 mins of free phone call. I was not expecting a lawyer to give me advice that would resolve the issue within the free time with them. She was personable and truly cared about my issue. I cant say that about all lawyers but this firm I truly recommend.

Howard Levitt represented me years ago and won. This year I consulted with Tahir Khorasanee, LLM, at Levitt LLP about my severance package that seemed insufficient. Tahir did research into similar cases and recommended that we start dialogues with my former employer. Tahir is very professional, supportive, responsive and tenacious. Unprofessional lawyer and staff. Unjustified billing. The lawyer was incompetent. Hard to get hold of him for weeks.

Mr Tahir is well versed employment lawyer. I got him review my severance package before acceptance. I was going to accept much low severance offer but he reviewed and negotiated on my behalf with my company and got me 3X extra to what I was offered (no exaggeration) and in 3 weeks ONLY. I got the correct information to make a knowledgeable decision in regards to my situation with CEWS and my employer. The Employer hasn t made up the difference of 25% of the 75% government subsidy. They offered 80% of my wages. I think at least 85% is acceptable as my contract is up in November 2020 .
This is better than not I knowing a return date while being on CER as it was before.

I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy! I had to fire this firm and find a more competent firm to handle my case in order to bring it to closure. Save your time, effort and money, stay away!

BEWARE because despite the saying, you DON'T always get what you pay for! My experience with Levitt LLP was extremely frustrating and at times unprofessional and upon severing ties for his attempt at changing a pre-defined hourly rate to a percentage basis, midstream through our engagement, I found a much more effective, honest and far less arrogant experience elsewhere. I do not question the knowledge or experience here but the general disorganization, lack of responsiveness and integrity I encountered left me frustrated and ultimately forced to sever ties. In the end my replacement was far more effective and given my overall experience I would NOT recommend Levitt for individuals.

Using LSCS was the best decision I made. I felt supported though out the entire process and Tahir Khorasanee proved to be a skilled and knowledgable attorney. He offered valuable insights and was always available when I had questions or concerns. I highly recommend the firm and Tahir.

Do NOT go here. This firm is "too big" for the little people. They are snooty, rude and condescending. They don't care about anything, except charging you $1085/hr. With that kinda price-gouging, you'd think they'd have more than one receptionist to attend to their clients. They are greedy and no longer hungry for clients. Find a place, where you feel respected as a client.

My case is now 9 months old and still ongoing and has not settled yet. I had no idea a labor claim would take this long. Starting to wonder what decade my claim will finally settle!
