Had an older Leupold golf rangefinder that could no longer find the pin from longer than 100yds. Asked my local golf shop what I should do. They told me Leupold backs their products, fill out the online form and ship it in. 10 days later I receive a new rangefinder. Unbelievable! I will not only tell everyone I know to choose Leupold, when it does come time to finally replace mine I will upgrade knowing the company will help make it a great long term investment.

Custom free CDS is a big fraud!!!

Custom free CDS is a big fraud!!!
Calling them for a couple weeks already and my wait in line caller is always #35 what a fraud company, they charge big bucks for their scopes and claim you will get you CDS free but you never do. Stop wasting your money, I know I won't!

Bad products?? You lose all credibility with an ignorant statement like that. I have the d-evo and the dp pro, they preform just like they should...now . Out of the box, factory sealed, never been opened before, my d-evo looked to of had some adhesive stuck on the inside of the lens, very noticeable being right in the center. Even though I heard of leupolds great warranty I was still a little bummed cause I just received it. So I called into the office and was told just to send it in and they would get right on it, good to hear. So I did, cost me 26$. When I called a few days later to make sure they received it I asked about reimbursement, and was told they just pay return shipping. Now some might say who spends 1500 on a scope and then complains about 26. It's obviously not about the money to me, I have a scope that's worth 6500, it's the principle. To me a company should step up and eat the cost for a defective product, I mean I just gave 1500 for it..
I would of been very satisfied with a hat or free tshirt, something. Now over a 26$ ordeal I will never buy another leupold, and I do like to dress up my guns.

Ordered a CDS dial on 5/29/18 and it's midway through August and still have not received it. What's weird is I've seen their little machine at trade shows spit those dials out. Leupold is just not a good option if you have ballistic changes on a regular basis. Sig and Vortex have been a great alternative.

Purchased a Leupold HD Quest from a local dealer 45 days ago. It was faulty, returned to Sportmans and they sent it to Leupold for service/repair. Now... Sportsmans is saying I never purchased the product from them (I have the receipt) and Leupold is stating they have not received my product from Sportsmans Warehouse.
$750.00 gone....
The ONLY reason they received a second star is due to the quality of their scopes. Not sure how to proceed other than going civil.... It is bizarre to say the least. #bummed
I now must choose to do my business elsewhere,

I purchased a Leupold Golf Range Finder for $400 just over 2 years ago and the lights that show the distances went out. I sent it in and was told it could not be fixed but that they would give me a discount to buy another one. Its difficult for me to understand why they cannot fix such a simple issue and why I would want to spend another $400 on a range finder that only last 2 years.

Extremely disappointed. Sent my scope in to be fixed, starting to fog on the lens. I have had my scope for over 20 years. Obviously they don't make the VariX II silver anymore. Since they couldn't fix it, they sent a brand new scope. TERRIBLE. It was matte black (my mounts are silver), barely fits the rifle, has range finder on it(which my other one didn't). I feel they should at least contact the customer to give them the option of keeping the old one or sending a new piece of junk one. Just my opinion. Very disappointed with the VX Freedom 3-9x33 EFR. Just want my old one back at this point.

Leupold & Stevens claims to stand behind their pro...

Leupold & Stevens claims to stand behind their products with a lifetime warranty. Don t believe their claims. I purchased the GX-4i2 just under 3 years ago. While on the golf course, I noticed the range finder stopped providing a distance. I placed a new battery in the unit and it worked the first time. Every time after that it would not work. I tried the hard reset and followed to steps. Again, worked the first shot and stopped working after that. I sent the range finder back to Leupold to see if they would stand behind their product. Nope! They said the range finder was out of the warranty period for electronics. They boast about their quality and warranty, but when it comes down to standing behind their product, they re the same as every other company that puts out faulty equipment (think Apple and their battery issues). I have to say that when the product worked, it was great. But at the price point of these devices, the product should last longer than 3 years and so should their warranty. I guess if I had a rifle scope with no electronics, then maybe Leupold would be my choice for a scope. For my next range finder, I m going to go with Bushnell as they have a 5 year warranty on their range finders. Thanks for nothing Matthew Snook. Your public relations skills are nothing short of terrible! You need to find a new job outside of the service industry.

I purchased the RX-Fulldraw Laser Rangefinder new, just over one year later the rangefinder would not read over 15 yards. I explained to the Leupold customer service department the problem and sent the rangefinder back. I asked them to correct the problem and charge me whatever it took to make the rangefinder work. They took three months to send a letter back with the rangefinder stating that it was out of warranty and they could not duplicate the issue or confirm the defect. The rangefinder does not read anything over 15 yards and no attempt to repair the rangefinder was even attempted.

I let Leupold know that I have in the last 30 years purchased well over $20K in Leupold optics including scopes and binoculars. They obviously have no customer loyalty and don't appreciate hard working customers spending their money on Leupold products.

I will now only buy Nikon, Vortex, Lecia, Swarorsky, and other high end optics.

Outstanding support and service for an issue I had with my golf laser range finder. I had lost the battery cover on the course the previous day, rendering my range finder useless. I stopped in at the company offices and they were able to find a replacement cover while I waited. Really great customer service, very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Sent a DPP back on my dime to correct its blotchy pixellated red dot, they took 1 month to return it in the SAME condition, and even included a DEAD BATTERY for the trouble. Called back and some snotty dude called MATT said I didnt understand how to adjust the brightness. Yeah, sure, uh huh, blame the customer. Asked for a refund, flat out refused. Asked for another unit, refused. Goofball MATT offered to take it back again "to look at it" but I gave up when he kept demanding I listen to him call me stupid for pointing out my 39.00 red dot has a bright clear dot and their 350.00 optic has a red BLOB no matter the brightness setting. Buy their junk at your own foolishness. This POS goes into the monthly giveaway bin at my gun club, where all 633 members will get this story about LEUPOLDs products and customer service.
