Went with a group of lady friends and enjoyed it. Service was excellent and food was delicious! Their Tuesday dinner special of corned beef was a generous portion at reasonable price . The restaurant was a little hard to find; the first turn was on to a kind of alleyway so I passed it at first. Help from my GPS quickly got me there.

This one waitress was very rude, Overall all the other waitresses were way nicer but there was just one waitress who was really disrespectful and shouted at us. We were in a group of four and we're just ordering Some fries and two drinks. One for me and my friend to split And one for my other friend and her friend to split. When she came over Again she told us we each had to buy something and we were very disappointed. We got two other drinks for me and my other friend. we had to spend more money than intended to.

Attended a college football watch party.
Thankful for allowing us to gather, but we're not told in advance that their speakers are blown so they're would be no sound.

My wife and I stayed in St. Louis for a weekend last year. We walked down Maryland Ave and found Lester's across from the Chess Museum. That location has since closed I'm told. But here's how good this place is: we went there Friday night for dinner, went back Saturday for lunch, considered Saturday night dinner and Sunday Lunch but thought we should branch out. It was a hard decision, the food is THAT good. Try the brisket. Four stars because I haven't been to their new location.

I ve lunched at Lesters monthly for eight years. Never had a bad meal. Sandwiches are large deli style. Some of the best in St. Louis. The daily specials are alway great. So many good things on menu, hard to decide. You won t be disappointed.

Our server was friendly and our drinks were good. My wife had the Turkey Cobb Salad. She enjoyed it. I had the chopped salad. It was ok. The avocado was brown and my turkey and ham were both so dry the broke apart when I put my fork in them.

It is great family place and regular guy place (that used to be a thing... I guess men go home to their kids now!). I enjoyed a vegetarian burger called an impossible burger, although I am not a vegetarian, but perhaps it was the pure candy bbq sauces. They have a range of good seating, a separate bar, long tables, and booths. I recall a pool table. The wine by the glass list is decent for a suburban Midwestern family joint and there is a wide representation of beers. Parking appears ample. The tab was moderate.
