Went to Leon's for a new TV and was delighted with the selection that were up and running to compare with. The prices were also as low, if not lower than some electronics stores we visited. We ended up getting our TV there and a sound bar to match. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even tried the TV there to make sure it was fully operational prior to taking it home.

Nice furnitures and some really great prices.

Nice furnitures and some really great prices.
But I ended up cancelling my order because they said that cannot make delivery for purchases less that CAD$ 500!
If Hudsons Bay or Wal-Mart can deliver an item worth CAD$50 for free, then there is absolutely no excuse!

You'll get your order but if there are any issues ...

You'll get your order but if there are any issues then you better be prepared to be a photographer. They will want photos of the damage.. Then 2 months later ask for photos of tags. It will go on till you do what I did and just give up. It is much easier to order from Amazon or wayfair where If something shows up damaged then they will replace it right away no questions asked.

When I am told my order will take a month and know after a month I am to wait another month, that is horrible customer service. I was not contacted, I had to go and find out for myself. How is that taking care of your customers expectations? So disappointed , again, in Leon's in Welland, ON.

Had several great experiences lately dealing with Josh K. He is very knowledgeable in all departments as he has helped us with TVs, appliances, mattresses, dining room sets, and living room furniture. He is kind and patient and is great at finding out what options suit our needs the best. We recommend shopping at the Welland Leon's and if you can work with Josh then you will be taken care of without any worries.

We used to be customers. We spent thousands of dollars here in March of this year. Delivery went as promised and delivery guys were great. As they were bringing in couch, loveseat, and recliner, they started noting the poor condition of the "new" furniture we thought we had bought. There were large blotches in the material, scratches, and damage to one kickplate. Two arms were missing completely. Turns out they sent us the floor model from another store! When the replacement suite showed up at the Welland store we were required to go there and inspect the replacement, in detail, before they would deliver it. They made us feel like it was our fault this had happened! The replacement set seat cushions collapsed after six months! They sent a repair technician to examine the suite. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He outlined their repair process, assuring me they could "get the parts". I enquired about exchanging this set for a better, more expensive suite given our experience. He told me I had to talk to Store Manager about that, but he wouldn't rule it out. I tried on Monday, by phone. The (obviously) young girl I dealt with was embarrassingly useless, ending our "chat" by telling me that, no matter what, a minimum 30% restocking fee would be charged and that no managers were present to talk to me about this. I called ten minutes later asking for the store manager. A man came on the line claiming to be store manager; he wasn't, he was the sales manager. When asked why he lied about his title and authority he became defensive and sarcastic. I assured him I would escalate this matter, including his lies and manner. Tom, the real manager, called Monday. If I come in and select replacement furniture, of sufficient value, he might reconsider the restock fee. I went the next day and spent an additional $2,000.00 for a different, hopefully better suite. The Woman who helped me was a treat; understanding, patient, and accomodating as could be given the situation. Black Friday was a few days away, I was told to come back to price check, I did, I tried get the discount applicable on that day. It was almost $800.00! To say the store environment was hostile would be an understatement. I was treated like a crook. I was told they could not process and refund my discount that day due to the "stack" ahead of me. I asked if, given our history and obvious resentment on their part, they could process my refund right there and then. I told them .. "I don't trust you anymore". Tom the Manager basically said "tough". I asked for something in writing acknowledging they owed me this money. What a show! I finally told Tom the manager that this was fraud and that I will definately pursue it further, legally if necessary. His response? "Go ahead, lots of people have done that and they all lost"!
With an attitude like this from Tom the manager, it's no wonder the whole store suffers the same affliction. I told them that they obviously think that "goodwill is just a store that the less fortunate shop at", nothing else. If you find yourself mistakenly going through their front doors, turn around. If one of them is approaching you with a a clipboard and pen, run away!

Went to Leons and bought a new sectional from salesman Brevin and Told him about my problems with my past furniture he showed me a new treatment that protects my sectional way better than scotch guard I will for sure be getting all my furniture there from now on!!!!

Visited Welland Leon s store on Saturday, May 25 t...

Visited Welland Leon s store on Saturday, May 25 to look at Sectionals. Was interested in the Charlotte model priced at $2,199.00. Was advised by salesperson Jeff of upcoming VIP sale on May 30th so opted to wait to take advantage of sale offering. Returned to store on May 30, and the priced had increased $200.00 on this sectional. While VIP offering of a 15% minimum discount would have brought price down $160 hardly worth purchasing with minimal savings. LEONS is practicing unethical pricing, marketing practices and using bait and switch tactics.
Will never return to Leon s and have purchased furniture, TV s, appliances from them over the years.
If you are considering buying anything from LEONS be aware!
Personally I would avoid any company that practices marketing and pricing this way.

I loved my experience here! I came in to browse around for a new bedroom set and I appreciated that the salesmen didn't pressure me in to buying something that I do not need but rather offered many different options that fitted my needs. Also I really liked that everyone is really knowledgeable about the products and different mattresses. I felt very comfortable at this store because the salesmen did not suffocate me rather let me browse around and came to check up on me at the right times. Even the store manager came to check up on me to make sure I helped and informed me of all the sales that were going on and made sure to find one that will accommodate me. Will definitely come back for a delightful shopping experience!

We ordered our couch 4 MONTHS ago and still only have half of it. (And the half we did get took nearly 3 months) We ve tried to be patient. When we ordered it we were told a max of 8-10 weeks. I understand that manufacturers were closed due to COVID 19 but this is insane. Leon s should not be taking orders for items that they have absolutely no idea when they will come in. We ve been offered zero compensation for our ridiculous wait. We re first time home owners that need a lot of furniture in the near future, none of which will be purchased from Leon s.

Ordered bedroom furniture they said it would be in within 2 weeks.. over 2 months later I get it. THEN the bed is in 3 large boxes and in pieces.. NO instructions.. if i knew I was having to put it together myself I would not have spent this amount of money and went to Ikea.. not impressed at all!! I do not plan on ever buying from Leon's again

Awesome group of people had a bad experience at a different Leon's location in the past was not sure about going here again but I have to say from the moment I walked in the door I got helped right away and they were very busy, manager shook my hand and both manager and sale person thanked us for coming in and our business I have to say has to be one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a very long time awesome job guys couldn't have asked for better service I will now make it a point to shop at this location from now on! Thank you for a great experience! Highly recommended!

My husband and I visited Leon's Furniture in Wella...

My husband and I visited Leon's Furniture in Welland and we were both truly amazed by their beautiful selection. The store is neat and well organized so I wasn't feeling overwhelmed with numerous pieces of furniture laying around, as per usual in other furniture stores. I was so impressed by the selection of not only furniture but also appliances, electronics, mattresses... They also have an excellent variety of accent furniture and decor (lamps, vases, carpets, paintings, wall-clocks figurines, etc). Yet, their strongest suit is outstanding customer service. Our sales-person Josh was welcoming, understanding, patient, and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to find us the best value for our money and to make sure we got the best deals. The sales manager, Simo, was also very helpful and warm, and I am nothing but pleased with my first purchase at Leon's. Actually, I can't wait to go back! If you're shopping for some great-looking and good-quality furniture, go to Leon's Furniture in Welland, you will be blown away!

We bought a mattress with a 10 year warranty, after 5 years it started to sag in the middle and one side, they said it is not enough- Their is some fine print for you...
Definitely wont go to Leon s ever again!!

They don t stand by their warranties, you would be way better of buying somewhere else, where they honour their Warranties.

Worst. Staff is pushy. Was lied to by the sales rep on the delivery time just to get the sale. Waited 30 weeks for our couch to come in. Upon delivery the company delivered the wrong couch. Terrible experience and we will never return.

Walked into the Welland Leons store feeling a litt...

Walked into the Welland Leons store feeling a little discouraged after walking around the Niagara on the lake store for hours and no one approached me to help...but my feelings changed as I was warmly greeted by the staff in Welland, not one but three people said hello and asked if i had been helped throughout my time in the store! I finally decided on the mattress i wanted and cant wait for it to be delivered later this week! defiantly will be coming back next time i need furniture. I suggest Welland Leons if your looking for friendly service and good deals. 5 stars!!!

Deplorable customer service. We purchased a fridge from them in June which was delivered damaged and stopped working within a month. We had a warranty so we thought a repair or replacement would be an easy fix. NOT with Leon's. We've been getting the run around for almost a month. Still no fridge and they keep displacing responsibility. Don't bother with warranties as they don't honor them. We purchase a lot of appliances for our rental properties and we will never buy through Leon's again.

WHY do I keep giving this company my money? It see...

WHY do I keep giving this company my money? It seems so easy and convenient at first....with the free delivery. However, after the delivery, it all goes down hill from there. NEVER again. It took me three times to learn my lesson, but I will be taking my business elsewhere and would advise others to do the same;) Just my own perspective from my personal shopping experience. Everything went sour after they had my money. Just sayin......

An employee came up to me with a mask in her hand and without saying a word handed me the mask. I replied "no thank you". She tried to hand it to me 3 times and all 3 times i repeated no thank you. She then stomped away yelling about a sign at the door. Had she checked at the front desk I gave my contact information to them. I was shopping for a livingroom chair but no one approached me after witnessing the confrontation I was having with an employee. DID NOT BUY MY CHAIR THERE!

Ordered and paid online a month ago at Leons.ca for a king mattress and box spring, a day before delivery I get 2 phone calls that they don't have the mattress. Their customer service is non existent, no apology, no explaination just tough luck for me. In fact they don't even know where the mattress is. Planned and scheduled the delivery during a time when I knew I would be home (ie; took time off of work) but that doesn't matter so if the mattress ever shows up I will have to arrange to be off work again. None of that inconvenience matters one bit to Leon's. This customer won't be back.

I love coming into the Welland Leon's. I have dealt with Dan for many years now and he has basically helped me with every major purchase for my house. Dan is one of those rare salesmen that never pressure you but instead listens to your needs and wants and then works with you to find the best options. He is very caring and understanding and will always make sure I am taken care of. For anyone that is looking to have someone you can go back to again and again and get the same high quality service then Dan is certainly that guy. You will never be disappointed and you will feel like family every time you deal with him. Keep up the Great work Dan and can't wait till my next purchase!

Felt like I was being sold ocean front property in Saskatchewan. Had 6k plus worth of appliances delivered. Some came in severely damaged. Was told to go to the welland store to exchange. Got there and no one had a clue. New appliances are on order. I think a group of grade 4 children have better communication.

Absolutely terrible return policies and service, do not shop online from this establishment! this may look like i am jus an unruly customer but check my profile, i dont write reveiws ever, this place is jus this bad! If you have anything wrong with any of your items you will not be able to get your money back and the service repair tech system is a joke. Still waiting on parts after a month with broken cheaply made furniture cluttering up my house waiting for solutions...... Brutal. I order online often and have not experienced this level of incompetense and denial of proper service yet. Shop anywhere else but at Leon's!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE- OR LEONS IN GENERAL. W...

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE- OR LEONS IN GENERAL. We purchased a $1350 couch in December of 2014. They were very helpful during the sale and gave us all of the typical assurances, we thought that we were making a smart purchase on a quality item, and even bought what we thought was an extended warranty. THE FRONT OF THE FRAME OF OUR COUCH HAS BROKEN 3 TIMES in 3.5 YEARS. The front of the couch is held together by a thin piece of MDF type material, the whole things is actually only held together by a few pieces of wood- its garbage! They replaced half of the sectional during the first year when it happened the first time (apparently there is a measly 1 year warranty - who gets a new couch each year!?!?), but this year the couch started kicking out at the front corner because the frame was broken there- so we put a bracket in ourselves. Now, on the other piece of the sectional the front of the frame has completely detached from the side wall of the couch! They absolutely refuse to help in anyway and told us that they have "done everything they can" - doing everything you can would be replacing our CLEARLY DEFECTIVE couch! We do not have children, heavy pets etc- the couch has recieved no abuse to warrant this level of damage. It also looks terrible after just 3.5 years, the cushions have completely sagged, it's awful. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM LEONS AGAIN, AND I WILL ADVISE ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO DO THE SAME- ITS A SCAM AND NO BETTER THAN THE BRICK! Shop at Stoney Creek Furniture, Structube, or even Ikea for better quality! Or save your money and buy something for less at Rosehill, at least you will be less disappointed when it breaks and they wont help!

Spacious store, pleasant sales people, great selection of furniture, etc. However, when I had a problem with the hinge on my entertainment unit previously purchased at this location, they were either unwilling or unable to help out with a replacement hinge. I'm still looking for a euro hinge that will fit the door.

I just recently bought a sectional sofa, bunks bed...

I just recently bought a sectional sofa, bunks beds and a mattress from the Leon's in Welland. The sales representative was nice, I had delt with her before on a previous occasion. Well... I come to find out that I got the wrong sectional, plus sales representative added a pillow and charged me for it! I never asked for a pillow or mattress protector. So much for her being nice!

I went to Leon's today to complain and to adjust price as the furniture I bought is cheaper now, apparently they owe me 10$ for the price match which is ridiculously wrong! PLUS.. THEY SAID THEY WON'T be able to do anything about the wrong sofa and pillow.

I will NEVER EVER DEAL WITH LEON'S AGAIN.

I ve had a pleasant experience at this particular location. Will definitely be returning in the future. I didn t have a considerable budget walking in, and needed a new set of furniture for my living room. The store manager did a great job of accommodating, and made a genuine effort to get me the most for my money. He was a young gentleman (Simo), hopefully management continues to perform in the future!
