As far as I know, the last company that manufactures cameras made in Germany (except DW Photo). And what kind of! A dream, a superlative: Consistently reduced to the bare essentials. And the adaptations of Panasonic models are well worth the money. If you want a purchase for a long time and live "less is more", this is the place for you. Support the small companies - especially in this area !! Andreas (Kaufmann), keep it up - thank you for saving this company!

This is where camera history was and is being made. The milestones of the development as well as the key personalities are presented and honored in a sophisticated atmosphere. The presentation is rounded off by exhibitions of epochal photographs. It is a must for all photographers to visit this place.

Good day.

Good day.
I have been a professional Leica user since 1963. I have always been satisfied with the service for analog cameras.

My Leica M9 has been in service for months.
Scoffers claim that the user of digital Leica cameras must always have two devices: one camera for daily use and the second camera for the repair service!

For me it is an unsustainable condition! As long as no remedy is found, this is no longer recommendable in my eyes!

Horst Wittmann.

They employed a former KGB agent as a receptionist. It was so hard to get any helpful information out of her that I even considered waterboarding, she was a tough nut to crack. The facilities are great and there is a lot on display, but some of the staff shouldn't be representing the brand to the public.

What can I say, the quality smithy of German engineers art of the optical industry. Leica stands for quality. Very modern building in the modern atmosphere of the Leitz Park. One of the top employers and by the way, my employer for 31 years. The photo exhibition in the foyer, the tours in the factory, that know the optical history and the craft around photography and the products is very interesting. Leitz Park is a world in itself and worth a trip.
