Leerhotel "Het Klooster" Review

What a beautiful location and pleasant learning environment.

Everything is right here. What do you mean "learn" hotel.

Nice students, good service and great food. The atmosphere in the monastery is special in this old building.

Nice hotel. Nice students who are doing well. Coming back in the middle of the night is no problem, the door was opened neatly. Breakfast was delicious.

Nice place with some imperfections here and there (swinging magazines, coffee machines that are on, but you have to make do with jugs of coffee)
The students are doing their best, but sometimes they do go overboard in applying the rules. The customer must be able to be a customer at all times.

We had a delicious meal here!
The dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented.
Neat staff (Students).
They use a menu card for a specific period. So not a wide choice of dishes.
But despite that, we will definitely come back.

Nice place! Nice location, nice building, nice beds, attractive rooms, good food and above all nice and friendly staff. The only thing that keeps me from giving that 5th star: at half past six the sligro truck was clattering in front of the window of my room with roller carts.

I only have experience with the restaurant, but it's a great way to experience a luxurious dining experience for a low price, as it is a learning experience for the students

Beautiful location and wonderful spacious rooms, good beds and nice view. The food was a surprise and delicious. The staff that are in training were friendly and do their utmost to make you happy in short, this deserves 5 stars.

Nice but very boring no bar where you can get a drink. Also you cannot dine as a guest if you are served not far in advance. Not even when reservation was still not possible. And now that it was possible, there was no more room ....

Good food, separate dishes, good service, small portions.

The Leerhotel is actually a monastery and really nice to see! As old and venerable as it seems from the outside, it is so modern and fresh from the inside! It is always very young staff in the hotel, because of the hotel management a few meters further. Each staircase has its own small elevator and in the building you can not get lost, as everything is well signposted. The rooms are spacious and from pay-TV to (super good) Wi-Fi everything you need to stay. The breakfast is simple, but it tastes all the better! Definitely recommended!

Beautiful building. Nice location outside the city of Amersfoort but still easily accessible by bus. You can eat super. And be prepared by students. And serves price is very good.

The addressing is not correct. Had to wait a long time. Was not a guest but a delivery person. It is a pity that they are not responding correctly.

It was vacation. So the students were not there, but their instructor was. My husband and I got a delicious capucino from him. It was quiet in the beautiful building. As a result, I was able to see the balanced design in gray, gray-green and green hues. Large plants contributed to a nice atmosphere. I would like to look here again if there are students.

Nice location and very quiet. The rooms were not very big but everything you need is there. The service / facilities were a bit moderately paid watching TV incredibly slow Wi-Fi and the beds were also a bit hard

Nice location and building. Close to the center of Amersfoort (by car) and located in a wooded area. Ample free parking.

I visited the potstill in het klooster. It very nice and spacious and personell of het klooster did there jobs with a smile

Looks very nice with various types of restaurants inside so something for everyone. Obviously I am biased because my daughter is in school here

Intersting place to stay.

You can tell at the first look that huge investment has been done here to lift the standard of monastery to the one of comfortable hotel.

Staff and restaurant are biggest adventage of this place. It was a real pleasure to see the way they work and treat each other and clients. Also the cousine was delicious, served in profesional way, not too fancy in the same time.

Unfortunately there were some minor problems with parking space and temperature in the rooms. Despite around 3C outside in the morning, the heating was off.
As in monastery, the style and rooms are a bit "modest" but the price is not quite.

Anyway, still surely a nice place to stay if you are nearby.

Pupils from the Hotel School prepare a great three-course dinner and serve you. Sometimes a bit awkward, but that has its charm. Food is just delicious and is nicely served. Ambiance is totally amazing. School is in an old monastery that was still used a few years ago by the order of the Crosiers. In short, a must.

Beautiful serene location with a historic atmosphere!

It is certainly a special hotel! The location is favorable, on the outskirts of Amersfoort, not too far from the animal park and against the woods of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
What is special is that the staff of the hotel mainly consists of students from the MBO training next to the hotel.
Because the staff consists of students, you are assured of a smooth and extremely correct service.
The rooms are perfectly fine, spacious, good beds, TV, WiFi, and a spacious bathroom.
The rooms are not soundproofed, when people are walking and talking in the corridor, it can be heard inside.
The breakfast buffet was just fine! Delicious bread but also everything with it.
The dinner was good, but I could not really say much about it, I did not see the menu because we ate what was gone because of a course.

Delicious dining, surprising taste combinations! You will be nicely served by students here. Reservations are recommended.

Only visited the church hall. Nice, atmospheric space.
