Lauderdale Small Boat Club Review

This is a small private Boat Club paid membership they do have a nice dock area fuel dock and a launching ramp they also have a sling lift and a private area so you can put your boat up on blocks and do your own work hey small ships store with generalized fishing and Marine items they've also got their own clubs area that they use for dances get-togethers and meetings also went outside area and a snack bar uniquely nice setting. If you don't mind the aircraft noise when they go over the heads and you can read the names of the planes and also see the passengers in the windows of the planes. If you need a reasonable place for a good two medium sized boat this is a place to have your boat dock or trailer and then launched. Friendly people it kind of nice to have both mechanical and fishing abilities there with many people's knowledge.

Some new members think this is a service Marina. It is not. You do or arrange for your own service or fixing problems. This is a club for boating and camaraderie. Mostly fun and help each other.

Had lots of good times here when I was a kid growing up. Great to see it is still going strong!

We've stored our boat's here for 12 year's now. Club members are friendly, boat club is well kept and is secured.

I grew up here in late 60's, 70's and last there in 87. My dad was Bud Helton and was the dockmaster for several years before his terminal illness left him unable to work on Jan 1986. His picture was in the middle of a wooden table in the big building where Santa (Roy Helton for many years) would arrive to give out gifts. Roy was not related. Seeing pictures, I am glad to see that not much has changed from such a great place for families to enjoy.

Great place to hang out brings back a lot of memories for me you to come here with my dad 35 years ago. And the dockmaster is one heckuva nice guy.

Great club for small boaters. Has it's own fuel dock, lift, dry dock area, ramp and club house with full kitchen. Good place to keep a boat and meet like minded folks.

Good place too dock a small Yacht and get some detailing done. The owner deal directly with you and will work with you if needed.
This odd squiet place. Of you are looking for a party place...this is not for you.

The yard guy Del is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Typical rude old man who has nothing going on and acts like he owns the place. Wont help, complains, and is just plain nasty and unprofessional. Talks at you like your stupid, the list goes on. Stay away!!!!! Beware!!!!!

A hidden gem. Great club. Great guys. Plenty of ice cold beer.
