Leerhotel "Het Klooster" Review

Beautiful surroundings, special building and wonderfully dined. First-year (!!) service experienced as very good, despite the obvious nervousness.

We were married here more than a year ago. Forgot to write a review then, with this one. Everything was well cared for! The preparation, wedding room, BBQ, party, overnight stays and breakfast next day!

I experience the Potstill festival here every year. A true enjoyment of all kinds of whiskey and other spirits from all over the world. Delicious !! Takes place on the 1st weekend of October.

Very good and friendly service. Clean rooms with good ventilation (tilting window) and soft beds. The bathroom is modern and very clean. The bar and restaurant are very cozy and are situated around a beautiful green inner square. The hotel is located in a green area + -2km from the center. The staff even send the forgotten items (phone charger and hair gel) home for free.

A special place with a sense of service, precisely because students run the hotel under the inspiring supervision of teachers.

Nice location with well-cared for lunch during the NVOM event. Points for improvement are that at large events there is sufficient parking space, the projector has a higher light output because with the sun in the church hall it was not always easy to see.

We had lunch here with a Gift4You gift voucher. Culinary is the highest. But if you like "just" food, my advice is to look elsewhere. What is nice: it is a school, so they are students.

The staff consists mainly of students from a hotel or hospitality training. It is a great place for meetings, receptions and the like.

What a beautiful old monastery and how beautiful it has been restored. A very refreshing process by working with people who have been trained throughout the monastery. If you arrive in the evening, the driveway is a feast for your eyes. The service is very neat and all with students! Outside the look of an old monastery has been preserved, inside modern uses and furnishings have been used that fit well with the old monastery.

More than a warm welcome by Nelleke Westerhuis and her crew from the front office and also the students, service and management in the restaurant,
The manager of the restaurant can move a little more to the background, the ladies did an excellent job!

Room was nice big room with wonderfully clean bathroom. Room was fresh, this was eventually resolved with minor cell confusion. This worked very well. As a result, power was out, so no more coffee in the room or blow-dry the hair.

Of course they had solved the problem, but we did not have the time to wait for that in the morning.

Recommended! How nice to see these young people so enthusiastic about learning a great trade!

Good meeting location in the middle of the country where you can also eat well. As the name suggests, it is a former monastery and it is part of the adjacent MBO where students can gain practical experience. Recommended!

Probably the cleanest hotel on the planet
As is basically a hotel school, they have some of the best cleaned rooms on the planet. The rooms are converted cloister cells, but with very comfortable beds at a good price. Breakfast is included and also very good, as the eggs are freshly prepared to order and there is a wide selection of freh baked goodies from the school kitchen.

We were on the cruise fair today that was at this hotel. Really a beautiful location

Very pleasant hotel for a short stay to be combined with a delicious dinner. Very friendly and professional service from arrival to departure. Rooms are spacious (luxury rooms incl a spacious balcony (for smokers). The restaurant was also very nice and the food was great !. Definitely a place to go back again. Here they learn what hospitality is.

Location is just beautiful its a massive monestary hidden away behind the trees and the service was just great. We were sadly having lunch after the funeral but the servers were very respectful!

For this year, the KNZB chose this special place, a former monastery, for its general members' meeting.
The restored and renovated monastery has become a learning location for the higher hotel school housed in the annexes.
The large hall, the former church service room, is perfect for a presentation to a large group: cool and sufficient acoustics.
I experienced the climate control in the smaller spaces for workshops as doubtful.
The presented dinner buffet is spacious and of sufficient quality.
Nice, special conference center in a quiet, easily accessible location. And a hotel accommodation available.

Nice location, have been coming here for years at the Potstill festival organized by Van Wees.

Het Klooster built in 1956 as a Klooster and here the school had more than 400 participants and grows to about 900 in the sixties well is a nice quiet hotel where you can walk and enjoy peace and quiet
Glad I came here!

Very strange. I have been here for a cruise fair, together with a wheelchair user. Accessibility is poor for the independent wheelchair user. Some slopes are so sloping that you need help. There is a disabled toilet present, but is poorly / unclearly indicated. There is 1 point that gives a bit of a dangerous situation, you have to go around a wall. So you don't see what's behind it, there is plenty of room, but the stairs down is a very scary idea.

We visited the Pot Still Festival, one of the most renowned Whiskey Events of the year. Excellent organization, excellent selection of whiskey and other spirits. Very cosy.

Attended a trade fair. Nice building, great restaurant
