A.D 1119, but still perfect condition. A beautiful place for an all-day. An interesting and long history. Very interesting castle interiors and exhibits. Large green areas with a lake that surrounds the castle. Great gardens. Mysterious green maze and grotto. Many attractions, but honestly one day is too short for everything. Restaurant, cafe shop, hotel, gift shop and large car park. I recommend Leeds Castle's Bird of Prey Centre including Hawks, Vulture, Falcon and Owls. I spent a beautiful day there in September 2017.

Really like the castle, there are art paints which i really like it.Is a shame that is a rainy and windy day when me and my friend going there. But really value for money as you could visit there again within one year with the ticket. I definately suggest my friend explore there. Just for everyone know that no shuttle is available during sunday and bus 10x is limited time available.

Today was our 3rd trip to the castle. The annual pass is an absolute bargain, and the Christmas fair was great. The castle, children's play park and the maze are fantastic. The restaurant today was so busy, but I would like to thank the staff for their efficiency, friendliness, smiles and lovely food. The restaurant staff are an absolute credit to the castle. If you haven't yet been to visit Leeds Castle I would highly recommend it! I love the fact that this Castle does not have the 'stuffy and unfriendly' feel that some of these places do seem to unfortunately have. We'll be back again very soon! (Thank you too to the lovely guy feeding the geece today, who gave us loads of great information, really friendly and much appreciated).

It really is a lovely castle. Lots of open space around. They give an "I Spy" game to children which is very effective keeping them entertained and engaged with the visit. The price is a bit high for a single visit but it gives you access for a whole year.

Well what can i say? The weather was lovely which saved the day. The walk from the car park to the castle took over half an hour. The lawns and grounds are beautiful. I didn't have time to go into the castle as it was time to walk back to the car/ coach park. This place is nice to visit if you are a fit walker under 50 .

Visited today. The grounds are extensive and kept in good order. Lots of geese and ducks and other bird wildlife including fish on the ponds and squirrels who don't seem to afraid of visitors. The ferry and train were operating a fast turn round service so those who wished could move around in ease. There are plenty of food establishments and absolutely loads for the children, plenty of play areas and places to picnic. Did not go in the castle today as there was oodles to do in the grounds. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a family day ( or two )out.

Leeds Castle has a reputation of being the most beautiful castle in the world. Maybe, but l think it has more to do with the setting than the castle itself. The grounds and the setting are truly beautiful and with the woodland, grass areas and moat and lake you can get some stunning photos. The castle itself although clean and interesting, l don't think can be called the most beautiful even in the UK, but may be if you add the setting it is. The woodland walks are very nice and relaxing and nice areas are plentiful for picnics. Children can run around and play on the grass areas or in the woods. They can also feed the ducks and swans. You can buy their food in the shop on entry. An area we thought could be improved was the restaurant we visited. We got there at three but they had stopped doing food until six thirty. You can book for an evening meal and if the weather allows you to sit outside it would be lovely overlooking the castle as it does and being lit up. We had a look at the evening menu and sorry to say we were disappointed. Also in the afternoon when we were there, there was a lot of dirty cups, glasses and plates left too long on the tables. We did enjoy our visit but apart from the setting we think it's over rating a bit to say its the most beautiful in the world. On a nice day we will be going back though.

What a great day out!!!!! The price is in keeping with other castles but was way worth it. In fact it is an annual ticket so offers something others do not. The gardens are amazing and really well kept even though this time of year not much is in flower and bloom but there is plenty to look at. The castle was decorated in Christmas decorations and really looked beautiful. There was so much to see and do. The kids are well looked after also. So happy for families.

A castle where it feels it would be comfortable to live in. Much more comfortable as castles like Versailles or others.

The garden is beautiful. A lot of fun to walk through. The falconry surprised by showing running birds.

A great place to visit all year round with one of the best annual firework displays in the area. In addition to the castle the falconry displays are very popular and there is a large play area and maze. The gardens are large and don't feel crowded even on busy days.

Although the convenience of transportation is not good, it is worth to go. It was a very beautiful castle in the lake, looking at the castle from the banks of the lake, it was as if I had time slip into the medieval world.

Something for everyone here: beautiful castle, lovely walk, good facilities for children. Visited today for the Joust and medieval fair. There were lots of interesting things to see and learn from black powder weapons through the ages to medieval medicine and plumbing! Was a bit too busy for my taste but still fun. The new children's playground was a big improvement. Annual ticket make this a must if you live locally.

Loved the history, the upkeep of the gardens and small interesting shows for kids. It is a perfect place for a couple like us who love walking as well as for those with kids. If there is anything I could improve ,it would be the food served in the restaurants in the premises.

Leeds castle is a brilliant day out for all the family. If you like a history lesson in the castle or just a wander around the fantastic gardens.
For the children there is a huge castle play area, crazy golf, a maze, and the falconry.
I cant fault the staff who do an amazing job and are very helpful.
There is so much to do one day isnt enough.

Really a very good outdoors venue for the family, plenty of places to stop and picnic, and a specific play area for young children. Various activities going on a different times of the year. Can get very busy though especially parking but your ticket lasts a year so you can come back for free any time during that year! Not quite so much to do on a bad weather day!
