I actually enjoy calling them and chatting. The clinical and compounding expertise of their staff is simply amazing and unparalleled. Their willingness to take time to know our needs/questions and then to actually work with our doctors to develop a novel solution, and afterwards to follow up with us to assure that we are satisfied is truly unique and so refreshing. We also love that our insurance covers their services. It is very convenient to be able to order over the counter products as well from their huge selection. This is a great pharmacy that has a lot of options to help those with allergies, autism, and alternative administration of medication. I would highly recommend their products and the staff is incredibly caring and knowledgeable.
Called earlier with an urgent need to refill a prescription for my cat, and with positive reassurance, John and his co-workers filled that prescription before day s end. The pharmacist was horrible. They refuse to cover my 9 week old sons medication because they don't make enough money off of it. He literally called to tell me he won't accept our insurance because they won't pay enough so I can not have our prescription filled there. As the mother of a sick child do not ever call me and say he can't get his medication because you don't make enough money on it!

I order compounds from lee silsby for a while now. The girls are always so kind and nice and helpful. Even when i have an issue they dont get stressed or nasty. I do pay a little more but.. you get what you pay for trust me. They put me first the compounds first,, i deal with another compounding pharmacy and it is a nightmare. I have found the staff extremely helpful. Many of the items I need to fill are either available in multiple lines or are held in the refrigerator. The person at the front counter was patient in explaining the variations available and searching out information and drugs. I see the variety of remarks regarding the pharmacist. In my experience, when he is crushed with work and responding to multiple questions and demands, it isn't a good time to ask for a consultation. When he is less overwhelmed, he is engaging, knowledgeable and very charming. So, I think he is human and has a job which sometimes makes so many demands he cannot respond with grace; I don't either in such a situation.
It s important to me when I receive outstanding customer service to report it and I want to take a minute and report it. This is the first time I've ever heard of, and used, a compound pharmacy. When I called to confirm information and pay for the prescription, the staff were very professional, very affable, and extremely knowledgeable. They were informative and walked through my concerns and lack of information about compound pharmacies and the new medication as well. I felt totally at ease. I do not always encounter great customer service. So when I do, I am obligated to respond to it. I highly recommend Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy to anyone based on the staff's customer service. Using Lee-Silsby pharmacy has been such a great experience! We order MB12 injections from them for our two daughters. When we started I had so many questions. Every time I phoned the pharmacy was a lovely experience. I was never rushed off the phone and the staff would always make sure I was comfortable before hanging up. Everyone I have spoken with at Lee-Silsby is so charming and knowledgeable. Our two girls are doing amazingly with these injections! The girls also just started the Enhansa powder from Lee-Silsby and it s helping them sleep! We are so grateful!

I used to live a few blocks from this pharmacy. Now I live 500 miles away in New York City. Believe it or not, I have yet to find a pharmacy in NYC that can get me the exact prescription that I can get from Lee Silsby. They make it so easy that I admit I haven t bothered looking very hard. My son has autism and we have been receiving vitamin B12 injection prescription from the Lee Silsby Pharmacy for many years. We started using Lee Silsby for my son's prescription as they were highly recommended by our pediatrician, and we have been extremely pleased with their product and customer service. Recently we encountered an issue with our prescription benefits provider and we were unable to get my son's prescription filled. We tried resolving the issue with the prescription benefits provider, but unfortunately we were not getting any resolution. I contacted Lee Silsby to get their assistance with resolving the matter. Within a short time I was contacted by Carly with Lee Silsby, and advised Lee Silsby had resolved the matter with our benefits provider and we would be receiving my son's prescription in the mail within a couple days. Carly made a follow-up call the next morning to let me know everything was worked out and resolved. The care, customer service, and professionalism we received from Carly with Lee Silsby was absolutely outstanding. Lee Silsby cares tremendously about their clients.
My kids and I have been getting medication compounded here for almost 10 years. The staff is very kind and helpful, and the medications ship quickly when they are available. It can be important to plan ahead around any holidays just in case they don't have the medication in stock, but I have never run out. They are always willing to work with me.

My family has used the services of the founder, Alan Israel and his family since I was a teenager when he only had the pharmacy. Over the additional 3 decades, he has compounded serveral anti-inflammatory creams for myself and my mom (before compounding pharmacies were ever a thing), and special prescriptions for my children when they were babies ) who are now parents themselves. My experience with this pharmacy was very frustrating! I have been getting a medication compounded for my cat and this is the only local pharmacy that could do it. I have gotten several bottles filled of this medicine, so I know the process and how the medication looks. Recently I called in my refill and went to pick it up only to discover that my cat's medication was given to another client with a cat who had the same first name but was supposed to receive a DIFFERENT medication. This owner was called and she had already given her cat a dose of the wrong med. Plus my medication was now delayed. No one even apologized, they just said "lots of cats have that name"! I mean shouldnt we be checking last names and medication types?!? Then on my latest refill, I drew up the medication in a syringe to give it to my cat and it was a completely different color than her usual medication. I did not trust giving it so I called and requested a new bottle be made. I would definitely double check your medications and prescriptions that you fill from this pharmacy.
I would highly recommend this pharmacy. Carly has been great at helping me think though my orders and has been diligent about check with insurance coverage and letting me know the final cost before purchase. She has also educated me on the difference between their products and a traditional pharmacy s products so I can make decisions. The staff is very responsive as well, with orders or questions. FRAUD ALERT: The owner and chief pharmacist of Lee Silsby pharmacy is Alan Israel, R.Ph. He is a convicted felon from 1988. His conviction involved overcharging for numerous medications, and is found for consumer review on the Ohio state Board of Pharmacy website. He became confrontive and inflammatory with me on the telephone telling me I would be paying three times as much for the same medications as I paid for them while in another state. From 75.00 to 225.00 for one month of medications, he also called my previous pharmacist at my old pharmacy to tell him they were not charging me enough money, and also insulted me personally. He also violated HIPAA laws by inappropriately disclosing to me that he filled prescriptions for some of the members of my treating doctor's family. This review is written for consumer protection, and for sharing of information useful to others injured by his highly unethical and highly unprofessional practices.
I live in Alaska and have been given truly exemplary service by Lee Silsby Compounding pharmacy since November of 2016. My Rx must be shipped once every 30 days, kept refrigerated and away from light. All personnel at Lee Silsby have truly gone the extra mile to ensure I receive my Rx in a timely manner, as inexpensively as possible.
We have used Lee Silsby Compounding pharmacy for about 3 years now, and could not be more please with the level of customer service and quality of products that they offer. I ve had to call several times to troubleshoot payment issues (on my end not theirs), and even changes in prescriptions, and each time they have been so patient and kind in their replies, always going above an beyond to help me out. It s comforting to know that I will always be treated kindly when I communicate with the team there, whether it be phone or email. I always feel valued and there is a strong sense of compassion for the families they serve. Most recently, I was in the hospital recovering my third c-section and Lee Silsby called to follow up on a change in one of my oldest daughter s prescriptions. They kindly described the situation, and I explained I would get back with them but it might be a few days. As soon as the team member found out I was in the hospital, they apologized for bothering me and also effervescently congratualted us on our new addition. I realized then, this isn t your typical pharmacy (or business for that matter). They treated me like family. We resolved the change within a few days, and then they followed up via email to let me know they d resolved the issue and received the refill requests from our doctor. They are always so thorough in their communication and I will never forget how kindly they treated me in the hospital that day. It wasn t just business, they truly care about their patients and their families! I cannot say enough good about this pharmacy! And the products my daughter uses from them, are always top quality and they ve helped improve her quality of life. Well done Lee Silsby. I m very proud to be your customer/patient!
