FRAUD ALERT: The owner and chief pharmacist of Lee Silsby pharmacy is Alan Israel, R.Ph. He is a convicted felon from 1988. His conviction involved overcharging for numerous medications, and is found for consumer review on the Ohio state Board of Pharmacy website. He became confrontive and inflammatory with me on the telephone telling me I would be paying three times as much for the same medications as I paid for them while in another state. From 75.00 to 225.00 for one month of medications, he also called my previous pharmacist at my old pharmacy to tell him they were not charging me enough money, and also insulted me personally. He also violated HIPAA laws by inappropriately disclosing to me that he filled prescriptions for some of the members of my treating doctor's family. This review is written for consumer protection, and for sharing of information useful to others injured by his highly unethical and highly unprofessional practices.
