My girlfriend and I just (July 4-5) completed our M2 MSF course at Toronto Beaches location. We had absolutely no experience and never been on a bike. We Started the weekend with anxiety, nerves and unsure of the course. We ended up being quiet comfortable, confident and enjoyed the course. We gained so much knowledge and hands on experience in such a short time thanks to the amazing instructors "James" and "Emerson". They both have life time of experience on different bikes and in different fields and were a great balance with their teaching styles. Thanks Jame and Emerson! "look up"

Amazing experience with Learning Curves!

Amazing experience with Learning Curves!

I originally signed up for a M1 to M2 course that was scheduled for approx. 3 months after booking, but after sending off an email to see if a spot opened up for an earlier session Learning Curves called backed almost immediately with some good news!

The course was a three part series, part one: in-class instruction (at Sherway Gardens), and part two and three: outside in a secluded parking lot of Sherway Gardens. The instructors (Rod, James and Tushar) were great! Super friendly, relaxed yet firm, and knowledgable (each in their own ways). I'd HIGHLY recommend taking a government approved course from Learning Curves to transition from your M1 to your M2, or your M2 to your M (for practice). Thank you Learning Curves!

Always an excellent experience with Learning Curves :) I did my M1 Exit with them years ago, and recently completed my M2 Exit with Bob as my instructor. Despite the absolutely brutal weather (rainy and cold), Bob kept a positive attitude and made sure we were all confident enough to pass our tests. Thankfully I passed and will continue to take the valuable lessons from LC forward in my riding career. I'll always recommend Learning Curves to anyone who asks. :)

If you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle there is absolutely no other place you should be going.

I did the in class with Looch and Khalid. Those guys are hilarious and taught very well.

The actual practical weekend I did with Kat, Anne, and Jan. I can not tell you how professional, knowledgeable, funny and awesome these ladies were.

They will take you from never having ridden or even touched a bike to being confident to have the skills to ride anywhere. They will take you from beginner steps and teach you tips and tricks that even some experienced riders are now happy having under their belt.

The progression from learning how to sit on the bike to doing your M1 Exit test is not only thorough but super fun! The skills they set you up with are above and beyond what you need to get through the test so you will be ready for that exit test 100%.

I have to give really high praise for these instructors. Not only do they teach well, their observation skills are impeccable. They will notice and correct things that other people wouldn't even notice so you will be the best drivers out there. The knowledge Kat, Anne, and Jan possess and pass down to their students is not attainable from any book or YouTube video.

If you want to learn to ride, come to learning curves. And if you get the same instructors I did you will be very lucky and very happy with your experience.

Thanks again!!

Genuine, kind, and easy going, yet stern. A great learning experience and most of all it was fun! I definitely feel comfortable enough to drive a bike now even though I still have so much more to learn.

Just finished M2 course with learning curves.....AMAZING! 5 stars isnt enough. Looch, Brett, Carson and Valerie were absolutely amazing. Having gone to a different school to get my m2 years ago and now here... i can say learning curves is definitely better in every aspect.

1. Personable
2. Amazing team
3. Catered to each riders needs...you feel like you are getting private lessons yet part of a vibrant team.
4. You dont feel like its a business. It feels like you went out with a bunch of friends on a sunday ride and along the way you learned more things than you could count.
5. At no point do you feel left out or lectured if u make a mistake.

I had my m2 expire two years ago and wanted to just hop on a bike and take the test at the ministry; am i every happy i didnt. As comfortable as i am on a bike, having owned, customized and tracked my gsxr...i still learned new tricks, got new pointers and really benefited from the extensive experience from the fantastic instructors. Each 1 was outstanding and together they were something else....new to riding or experianced and need a refresheer..TAKE THE COURSE!

I took the course at Beaches location. What a fabulous experience. Extremely smart intelligent and helpful instructors. They bring you at ease the very moment you step in and give you one on one attention despite being ina group setting.
The way the course is set up in its entirety is beyond perfect. Special thanks to Khaled, Luciano, Bret and Tush.

I think this course should mandatory for all of us planning to ride. Guys thank you for such a wonderful experience. Jz

Never rode a motorcycle before after the weekend course i feel more confident about hitting the city streets! All the instructors were knowledgeable and any concerns I had they answered would highly recommend anyone to take this course even people that already have there m2 some of the skills they taught I would not want to have experienced on the road without the knowhow to do them safely!

I had a great experience at your course and all the instructors did on point! Especially Adrian, Carson, Jon, Peter and the lady that worked with Peter (didnt get her name ) . Adrian jon and Carson, were very helpful and I learned so much from them on the first day of the course. They made the whole experience super fun! Peter and the lady were amazing also! Would definately recommend this course. Thank you to all the instructors that helped me get through this course and all the staff that I talked to over the phone! You guys are the best!

Just finished my M2 training in Hamilton this past weekend and feel that it is a "must have course" for anyone who wants to ride a motorcycle. All instructors were very knowledgeable about how to ride safely and have fun. They not only taught the fundamentals but also the practice aspect of riding. I will return for M training but will now start riding practicing what I learned.

Just finished my M1 exit course and had to get on here and give them a 5 star review.

Just to give you an idea of my experience as a rider... I had none. I sat on a bike about 25 years ago, but thats it. I have an understanding of motorcycle basics, so that helps abit going it. After this course, you will feel confident on how to ride a motorcycle, and have a good foundation to build on your skills.

Being 37 years old I wasn't looking to go fast. That's not what this course is about. I wanted to learn the fundamentals of riding and LC did just that.

Our instructors were fantastic. Big thanks to Scott, Christina, James, Brook and Peter. You're positive reinforcement and support not only made the course fun, but kept nerves pretty settled.

Another great thing about LC, was the bikes. They range from 125cc up to 300cc's. Now that might not be the most appealing, but from a newbie perspective, this is great as the bikes range in style, curb weight, and seat heights, so can find a bike similar to the one you have or will purchase in the future. This gives you an idea of what to expect.

It's amazing how much you learn in just a few hours. I know I'll head back for my M2 exit course.

Great job LC. You got a fantastic crew and look forward to seeing you in 18 months.

Thanks for everything!!

Course was absolutely fantastic; Glen and Luch were competent, professional and amazing at making the course feel like just a fun weekend out. Bikes were generally in good condition. However the administrative process is a nightmare. Originally signed up for a midnight madness course; but they canceled last minute due to low enrollment resulting in a scramble to rearrange my schedule to take another timeslot. So double check how their enrollment is for the course you want! Then supposedly because of this rescheduling, they did not have my certificate prepared. While everyone else got theirs, I was told mine would be mailed to me. It's coming onto three weeks since I've taken the course and still waiting for documentation to arrive and quite frustrated. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. [EDIT: Tobias followed up after this post, was very apologetic and made very reasonable amendments. Would definitely recommend moving forward and intent to take my M course with them in about a year.]

I took this course in St. Thomas about 3 weeks after I wrote my M1 test. I can't say enough good things about this course. These guys know how to teach you to ride safe, and correct. Big thanks to Dave and Paul who were amazing instructors! They made the learning process very fun. I've never driven a motorcycle before and by the end of the course I knew how to ride and I maintained a better grasp on how to control and operate the bike. They are the only place that can teach a novice or even experienced riders safe riding habits. You get lots of time on the bike to learn at your own pace. Great instructors, great classmates, all around great experience. Thanks guys for a really fun and educational weekend!

I have never in my life had a learning experience that i enjoyed as much as I had this weekend. I went from having no experience and being intimidated by the bike to being confident enough lean the bike in a turn while changing gears. I want to thank the instructors, Looch, Adrian and Goldie for being so patient with me and letting me know if i was doing something wrong, correcting it and then keep an eye on me to make sure i wasnt making the same mistakes again. In a class of around 15 students, these instructors remembered everyones mistakes and bad habits so they could correct them for us. I would HIGHLY recommend this riding course to anyone who is interested in riding.

Just did my course of 18th,19th weekend. The instructors where very strightforward. However, were I gave Learning Curves a two star rating is becuase while we had to do the final motorcycle exam the instructor who ( I am not going to name) was taking down our marks during the exam. Stopped us after doing 4th out of the 8th test and told us that his stop watch was not working properly the numbers don't add up something in those lines. Then asking us to redo the first 4 of the test again. We all thought he was joking not only was the weather really warm, we where already hot from the heat and nervous and to be fare a lot of people did good the first 4 test/rounds and I am not just saying that and than to find out we had to go and do it again was just wrong. Going into the test/exam some people get nervous. After realizing the instructor/examer wasn't joking I personally felt and a lot of the students did also that we where pressured to redo the test again because if we had said "NO that's not our fault you noticed your stop watch late into the test" we would of been scared of the consequences well I would of been. Going back to the stop watch how do you not know if your equipment not working well you have 14 riders doing 4 test before you stopped us to figure out your stop watch is not working well. Like really! I understand if you properly did not noticed it the 1st round or second round even though it should not happened at all but after the 4th round you noticed it. Like 14 people did it the 1st round and you weren't able to notice/catch your stop watch was off. I am extremely disappointed and I know I am being redundant but the weather was so warm to the fact that the instructor decided to split half the class the second round due to the heat so we had to go back and forward for our test. Like come on it was fine the first time everyone was doing it one by one, but because of the mishap of the stop watch we had to go back and forward I felt it was very disorganized everyone nervous where even more higher the second round. The second attempt a lot of people did not do as well it was probably because of those factors doing it again also having half the group sit out then coming back in, but do we get a second chance NO of course not. I think it was completely wrong and afterwards was told you can do the test again for free. Its not about that I know I did well and If it wasn't for the fact that we had to be retested I would of passed. I'm sorry I'm ranting on but I had to get it of my chest. Also Learning Curves you can contact the rest of the students if you don't want to take my word for it. The results of them well tell you the same thing.

*****update*****

Went in for my second attempt and this time I was meet by Don and Marie who where going to instruct the session. I got to say they were very mellow and so friendly. Don and Marie even bought us soft drinks and ice cream because the weather was warm. Overall I am happy. Even though I really did not have anything against the pervious instructor, I was more or less upset about the time watch/ doing the test again. However, this time around their was no mishaps and I really enjoyed my time there. Also Don thanks for letting me ride the dirt bike on the grass.
***update score be 5/5***

Had the opportunity of taking the M2 course this past weekend. It was over 30yrs since being on a bike and Kevin & Kaylee made it the most fun learning experience I ever had.I was nervous at first but within a half hour they made me feel confident i could do this.Even tough some riders had experience, everybody started at the same level. They took the time to explain all the exercises and the safety behind them. Thanks again Kevin & Kaylee you are highly recommended.

Definitely not happy with the follow up after my class. I was not awear of the fact that i was able to get my m2 after completing this course. When i realized i qualified for my m2 it had passed the 6 month mark. So now i have to start all over. I really wish for the ammount of money they are taking from people that they would do a 3 or 5 month follow up. Just to check up on the progression of the rider

I was lucky enough to have Murray, Mike and Josh as the instructors for the course. They made the entire experience fun and very comprehensive. No question is a dumb question and they took the time to explain their opinions and/or experiences when asked anything at all. They explained the what's and why's of the maneuvers that we covered and were very patient and encouraging when I was having trouble with a certain maneuver. This organization is not just running a business to make profit, these guys genuinely care and want each student to be the safest and most knowledgeable rider that they can be.
I can't say enough good things about the course. Worth every penny and I would suggest it to anyone that's thinking of riding.
Customer service was great as well, again, very comprehensive of what you could expect from the very first step up to passing the course.
If you've been thinking about it, just do it and sign up with these guys!
Safe riding,
Ryan

This place was actually amazing the teacher s were so sick all were so easy to get along with and make jokes. I personally got along with most of them really quickly. They explain everything so well you ll rarely be asking any questions. All of them are super nice and friendly and the 3 day course was 1 of the best 3 days of my life. So if you don t choose this place I m sorry but you really did miss out and if you did choose this place well you already know the awesome experience

I recently completely the M2 exit course in Hamilton.
Not only was it a fun and informative weekend but James, Ericka, and Shane ensured the weekend was stress free. They take the time to teach you the fundamentals and provide ample opportunity to learn all necessary skills prior to the test. I would highly recommend this course for new riders and those looking to upgrade to their M2!

The staff were fantastic - you can tell they have really worked out a system that teaches you how to progressively feel comfortable on a bike. Learning curves was a great experience. I seen people with no experience on a bike come out and ready for the road. In 2 short days. The instructors make it a fun experience as they rate and help you. It was well worth it to me as I learned small tips that make riding much more enjoyable to me highly recommended

I participated in last weekend's course held in St. Catharines. The lead instructor Christina was assisted by Glenn, John and Allan. I cannot rave enough about how wonderful an experience it was! They approach the program with positivity, clarity, good humour and attentive care. As a new rider, I struggled at times; but even as I cried, cursed and crumbled they kept me motivated and feeling supported. Christina was so insightful, kind, and patient. The equipment was all clean and in good working order and appropriate measures were taken to sanitize everything. I HIGHLY recommend Learning Curves, they are a stellar group of people who genuinely care about teaching and do it darn well!

Completed the program this weekend at the Honda facility and it was awesome. The instructors are fantastic, the bikes are nice, and the location is convenient and wide open.

Highly recommend! Lots of fun, learned a lot, and feel very confident buying my first bike (Shadow 750) now.

I recently completed the M course, and at first I thought this program will just teach me the basics and the layout of the test, but I couldn t be more wrong. Willie (the instructor), went above and beyond, teaching and providing information that can t be found anywhere else in my experience. Throughout the day we were taught on how to ride as a group, with each group member taking the lead position as time passed. Our instructor was very observant, whether he was in front or in the rear of the group. With each stop he would give us very insightful information on the improvements we should make. He was very clear and easy to understand which made the day that much more enjoyable. With that said, I really recommend learning curves, and if you end up having Willie as your instructor you will not be disappointed.

Honestly I could not be more thrilled with my experience. The learning curves staff were professional and knowledgeable.

They took great care to make sure we understood everything, and put so much emphasis on safety that I really feel comfortable hitting the roads.

The weekend of our training was so cold, -11 with the windchill, Learning Curves Offered a refund to those who wanted to come another time but George and his crew were troopers and coached us through while making sure we got sufficient breaks to keep us safe and as warm as possible.

Really good experience. I just received my M2 license on September 20, 2020 at the Etobicoke location. Murray was my instructor. I highly recommend him. Murray is an excellent riding instructor with very friendly staff. They are all patient, chill and the customer service is excellent. Sara always answers my calls or emails whenever I have a question. They have a lot of bikes for the course and the course is really good. I would recommend Learning Curves to anyone! I had no experience of riding a motorcycle prior to this course. Now I feel safe using my motorcycle.
Thanks

Participated in Hamilton last weekend. Went in knowing absolutely nothing and never had been on a bike before. It was a blast learning how to ride on several different bikes. Walked away with my M2 and a lot of confidence in my new found abilities. The instructors, all of them were great (Shane / Desti / Murray / Erika / and James) They were all helpful and made sure everyone was taken care of. No one was left behind. Took the m2 exit course in st Catherine's taught by Christina and Dana, salt of the earth people taught us such valuable riding skills!

Both christina and Dana were serious about our safety on and off the course, you can tell they genuinely cared about us and wanted us to be safe in our riding careers

I remember Christina taking me aside when she saw me using poor clutch and throttle control and she wasnt having it!

She took her time to give me the training I needed to make improvements

By the time the course was finished I felt wayy more confident on the bike than the week before

Thanks again for fitting my friend and I in last minute and showing us the way

10 star service without a doubt. I'll see you for the M licensing course!

From the folks in the office (Don, Maya & Tobias), to the instructors (Cat & Jon for our course specifically), Learning Curves is seemingly the best choice we've made all year. Everyone was extremely helpful and went far above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, even working outside of business hours to accommodate us!
The course material was very helpful even to myself already having had a breadth of experience on two wheels. I also had the pleasure of watching several completely inexperienced riders (my girlfriend included) finish the weekend course, competent and ready for the road.
We will most definitely be returning to Learning Curves for our M Class license training as well as their other courses and rides. Do yourself a favour and sign up!

My thanks go to Paul and AJ for training here in St. Thomas. You guys are the best.

The best place to go for your M2 Test! Hands down! Brian, James and Tim at the Waterloo location were absolutely fantastic this past weekend. The tips they provided paired with their scrutiny of riders' mistakes and constantly pushing you to do better every drill, will get you prepared for the road in the safest way possible. Will most definitely come back for my full M license. Always remember, LOOK INTO THE FUTURE! :D Cheers!

They are absolutely awesome and worth it!
I will admit, at the beginning I did not know what to expect. As the time passed by, my instructors grew on me, were very clear and truthful, and most important: they enjoyed teaching new drivers.
If you are considering riding a motorcycle, Learning curves has the right learning curse for you. My instructors: Val, Kat and Yin were a great bunch of people to learn with, spend some quality time, met new friends and gained a lot of experience getting ready for the roads.

Great M2 Weekend course with instructors Willie & Bret , Over the weekend i had a chance to take part at the Honda Head Office Lot course. Willie & Bret had patience and knew exactly what they were doing with the class. Very funny and outgoing instructors, bikes ranged from 125cc to 300/400cc. Encouragement and helpful tips were given to everyone taking part in the course . I recommend Learning curves to anyone going for there motorcycle license . Will not hesitate to back for the M Course when ready.

I have never been on a motorcycle. I knew nothing and no experience. Friday I didnt know how to start the engine on motorcycle. Monday i bought one. And Tuesday drove from Mississauga to Vaughan. So from 0 to Heroe :)
I took evening class last weekend in Etobicoke. I think evening classes are better. Not as hot and you get to learn driving in the dark. My instructors were amazing
Goldie is just guru on two wheels, amazing personality and she is so good at teaching.
Adrian will push you to get better, no slacking allowed. But thanks to him you will live when you are on your own.
Heath will calmly support and give needed advice.
All of them were very friendly and open to help and share their knowledge.
They were perfect team. They will make you 100% ready for real road driving.

Washrooms on site would be nice :)

I had the chance to learn from John, Shelly, and Janet, all amazing instructors. They made the learning process safe, fun, and very easy to understand. I came to the course having 0 riding experience and time spent on and around bikes and these 3 instructors teach you everything you need to know to start practicing to ride by yourself, definitely recommend this course to any new and even experienced riders trying to get their M2 licenses.

Teaching 20 people (from all walks of life) how to confidently and safely ride smaller motorcycles in a single weekend is absolutely MAGICAL. As a teacher (of children) myself, I appreciated the educational strategies employed in the course and was astounded at how well structured and organized the process was. Last but not least, the communication skills of the instructors (despite the masks and distancing) were bar none. This explains their extraordinary pass rate. You will receive all the information you need to feel comfortable learning and accommodations are always made for those who would benefit from them. If you are at all interested in learning to ride a motorcycle Learning Curves is the place to do it. Once you meet the instructors and begin the first lesson all anxieties and doubts (we all have them) will begin to disappear. By the end of the first day, if you liked it, the only thing you will want to do is go back and practice some more. Learning curves changed my life for the better and started me on the path of achieving one of my oldest dreams. Even if I could I would never trade away the experience I gained here. Bless.

I've recently completed my M Licence, I'd like to write a very positive feedback for Willie the course instructor. Very "down-to-earth" teaching, absolutely safety oriented, always pointing out why it is safer to take a decision more than another. If I make a mistake , it is a mistake, clear and sound and no frills. Really enjoyed the ride with him and the other guys under the rain...just part of the riding. Thanks guys!

I took this course this past Sat Sept 30, 17 because I needed to update some of my skills again and it was by far the best course I've taken. Scott the Instructor was fabulous, great personality, words can't express how great both the instructors
were. I've already recommended this course to a friend of mine. Keep up the great work!!

Sincerely,
Pat Zammit

Thanks to my instructors George, Drue and Emerson, I just passed my M2 course! They build your skills from the ground up, literally starting with how to sit on and start a motorcycle. They were friendly and patient, but also knowledgeable and informative, and the three of them offered very unique perspectives on riding, which I appreciated. My advice is to purchase your proper full riding gear (helmet, jacket, gloves, boots) before taking the course so you can learn in what you actually plan to be wearing when you ride. Other than that, dress for the weather and prepare to have some fun!

Also, say thanks to Kim Nguyen whom I consider the centerpiece of this review. She helped me a lot with the registration and rescheduling in a way that couldn't be quicker.

Spent a Fabulous weekend April 21-22/2018 with Shelly-Ann and her team of instructors, Emerson, Val, Jenn and Mark from Learning Curves. With all their knowledge and skills they took my riding confidence to another level. They explained and demonstrated every lesson, then let us have fun practicing what they just showed us. Always had positive feedback on our errors or areas of difficulty. I will definitely refer Learning Curves to anyone and everyone. I Thank You all for a great experience filled with fun.

John is an excellent safety instructor. Jason gave excellent coaching and was able to get me past areas that I struggled with. BrIan was great at presenting information in a way that was easy to understand for a newbie. I attended the St Thomas M2 course.
