always delicious creative cuisine. loved the mushroom burger and the oyster mushroom appetizer!

Brunch is amazing! You can't go wrong with any dish. The Chai with Oat milk is so delicious.

Came for lunch and got the vegan egg sandwich. Seems silly that a VEGETARIAN restaurant charges $1 extra to have vegan cheese instead of regular cheese......
Besides that, my friend and I saw our food sitting at the window for a good 3-4 minutes and our sandwiches and sides were warm by the time we got them. There was also only about 2 tiny crumbles of vegan sausage on mine. For a $12 sandwich, I d expect it to at the least be hot. Wasn t very flavorful either. Wouldn t go back.

Great food, great ambiance, and amazing people. I recommend the tacos as an appetizer and for your entree Jamaican jerk tempeh.

Vegans rejoice! Leaf s menu is packed with creative dishes; so many sound delicious that it will be hard to choose - trust me! I got the crab cake sandwich and it was wonderful, especially with the fresh blackberry lemonade. Fantastic dining experience overall with really nice staff too!

Yea! I can report Leaf's new incarnation is a big improvement! The food is still as delicious as ever, but the space is two or three times larger with large "garage" doors that open up to provide that inside/outside dining al fresco flair . It was still full on a Friday night though, so as walk-ins we got to try their just opened patio. Being right on Pearl felt much more lively than 17th ever did.

Leaf continues to stand out as Boulder's best vegetarian fine dining. The Udon noodles in Kombu broth was a perfect complement to a cool spring evening, though our table's consensus favorite dish of the night was the Persian Eggplant--rivaled only by the chocolate pecan donuts with coffee coconut cream for dessert.

I may be a meat lover, but the menu here is inventive and showcases what can be done with vegetarian ingredients by an imaginative chef. Leaf is a treat for the taste buds.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and was quickly seated. The atmosphere is cozy and the music is surprisingly good. I ate the Huevos Rancheros which were tasty enough, however, cutting the corn tortillas was like cutting through kevlar. A member of my party ordered the Middle East Bowl which was bursting with flavor. I'll definitely be ordering the latter instead should I return.

Leaf is simply pure Boulder magic. The staff is incredibly cool, the food is some of the best in Boulder. They add that CBD magic to any drink you order, with no limits involved. Try the Ice tea with 50 mg CBD. That smile on your face will be real deal. This restaurant is the one you want to try while in Boulder. It s a beautiful place, and guaranteed you ll need a to go box. Veggie leftovers are the bomb! Two thumbs up

We were fortunate enough to get the only two available seats for a quick happy hour the day after Valentine's. We were told they were booked through Sunday brunch this same weekend.

Great flavors and sound vegan food. I want to put a plug in for whole wheat buns to be offered on sliders and other sandwiches (hence 4 stars)... Otherwise dang good!

A-MAZING!! The food is incredible. Atmosphere is perfect! Love love love this place. Staff is so great and customer service is on point! Only thing... would be to watch out for is the cauliflower tacos... they are super HOT! Make sure you order with sauce on the side if you cannot take the heat! Can t for our next visit!!

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant accidentally. Pleasant wait staff. Great food. We had Chilled noodle salad, summer salad, korean veggie BBQ and Spinach Alfredo. Tough choice to choose the best, as they were all delicious. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Thank you

I just went here for my one year anniversary with my girlfriend. We went here at the original location last year for one of our first dates and this place is still so stellar. Some of the friendliest staff as well as extremely yummy options for food from small plates to entrees. In my opinion one must try their buffalo cauliflower tacos. I will 100% be returning here over and over again, it s simply that delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Went here during restaurant week- so the prices where great. My boyfriend and I shared three courses. The oyster mushroom calamari is on point, along with the sweet potato gnocchi. My cocktail was lovely aswell. However, enchiladas left us wanting more. The mole sauce was missing a necessary depth, and had too much of a tomato flavor. Enchiladas should never be described as bland.

I am a carnivore but found the food quite delectable. They have solid neat substitutions which taste good and the food is filling. Fine cocktail list included this mezcal drink with homemade apple cider and rosemary tincture. My impression is that this restaurant crafts plates from farm fresh ingredients.

One of the best experiences I've had this year. We came for happy hour and enjoyed our happy hour dishes. Their teas are excellent. Just all was top notch. If I'm ever passing Boulder again I'll visit! PS do not skip the vegan cheesecake - just my style!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Leaf. The atmosphere, the patrons, the employees, the FOOD! From the live plants to the rustic industrial look everything was inviting. I ordered the Cauliflower Tacos to start and ohhhhh boy, Do not pass these up! I had the Jamaican Jerk Tempeh as my main course and it was delish. I planned on one of the amazing deserts but found my belly to be entirely satisfied with what I had. That beet cake is in my future next visit!

I love their happy hour menu and also some of the main menu. Very tasty plant based dishes and desserts. And their house bread is our favorite too. One of my favorite vegan options. Also the restaurant is very cozy and clean. Location is easy to access. I hope it was all plant based but I am not complaining!

The food is amazing, I eat here every time I'm in Boulder, but the last 2 times, the waitress/hostess working close to the front door seems inconvenienced and over stressed. Not 100% sure it's the same person, but it's happened twice.

A quick run through Boulder. This place has a diverse menu and great atmosphere. The bartender was so engaging and kind. She made conversation and was invested. The food--I had the goat cheese polenta--was excellent: creamy on the cheese, finely prepared polenta, mushrooms at wonderful texture.

We went with quite a big group of people, many of whom wouldn't consider themselves vegetarians, and almost everyone said "I'd have one of everything on this menu". It was very tasty, the service was absolutely outstanding, the dishes arrived quickly, and the drink menu was top notch. What a great experience

Absolutely delicious. Excellent service. They were very busy and when one dish didn t come on time they supplied us with beautiful snacks to tide us over. Our dishes were fantastic and tasty. Highly recommend!!

Nice location on Pearl St just past where it's always busy. Beautiful decor and fun atmosphere. Potato pancakes were delicious. I didn't much like the spices in the scramble but the vegetables were very fresh and beautiful. Mushrooms gravy and biscuits would be perfect in the fall. Vegan Ruben didn't blow us away either but the fries were very good. My husband loved his green bloody Mary.

My mom and I had an amazing brunch/lunch experience at Leaf. Love this place! If you re looking for a light & healthy meal with a trendy yet slightly upscale dining experience - Leaf is your spot! We sat outside on the patio, got seated & served right away and overlooked Pearl Street. They wiped down our table and chairs, and all staff was wearing masks. Our waitress and service was stellar. All the food was phenomenal, you can t go wrong with anything you order here. Plenty of gluten free options and the menu is a vegetarian s dream.

Leaf is one of our favorite restaurants and boulder and we often bring visitors here if they are vegetarian or not. Reasonably priced entrees, delicious bread, and good selection of drinks. We've had a couple different times where gift cards haven't been working (That definitely had balances) so I deducted a star for that. The whole Three Leafs Concepts group needs to ensure their gift card system is working.

I think that most or many of the menu items could be altered, to subtract dairy or grains, for example. I loved that all my food was so mild, making it easier for my tummy. You could probably ask for a lot of heat, though, at the outset.I was somewhat restricted, by circumstances, with my photo-snapping, so I'm bummed that I don't have restaurant shots to share. Those who enjoy gardening and plants will sure find themselves contented here.

This place is surely one of the tastiest restaurants in the region. Whenever I go there I am deeply satisfied. They manage their high standard service and the highest level of food they give. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Delicious brunch! My husband had a tofu-veggie scramble and I had potato pancakes that were amazing (the potatoes were very finely shredded and the exterior was so crispy) and avocado toast. Highly recommend! If we re ever back in the area, we plan to come back and try their dinner menu.

The Leaf holds a special place in my heart. One of my favorite restaurants of all-time, their cuisine is unique, modern, and absolutely delicious. I regularly bring all of my friends to this restaurant, and they're always inspired by what vegetarian-only cuisine can be. This tends to be a quieter, slower environment, so plan to spend a bit more time than usual, but it is well worth it.

The food is so creative and delicious I want to come back as soon as I can. There are also options that satisfied the non vegetarian/vegan members of our party, they did not leave hungry. All of the staff members we encountered were equally kind, we can t wait to return!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. They had an amazing smoothie with coconut flakes on top. Not too big, just perfect. Other than that the food was perfect too. An amazing breakfast/brunch place.

Awesome vegan and vegetarian restaurant! The calamari style oyster mushrooms are perfectly crispy and salty, the orange cauliflower is delicious, and the raw lasagna is tangy and refreshing.

Food is good! Second time with bad service. Forgot about us for ordering then forgot us for the check. No apologies, the waitress kind of threw the check at us when we finally waived someone down to ask for it. It wasn t crowded. I ve also had the experience of them saying there s a long wait when there are tables available. Last time I heard a guy ask for the management and thought he was being a jerk but now I m starting to see his reasoning...

What I love about Leaf is everything! The food is always very fresh, creative and very tasty. The chefs are really terrific at coming up with delicious and innovative dishes. Even the bartenders get creative here. The restaurant decor is really lovely. It's light, romantic, modern, almost spa-like. amazing!

Wow, i am amazed by the yumminess of the food here! I loved the fried okra, and udon noodles last night. Also that kale salad was on point! Grateful for the high spirits here and i could feel the smiles from everyone working their even behind those silly masks!

As a vegetarian / vegan, leaf is incredible. Their dishes are always well thought out, use fresh ingredients, and unlike many other vegan restaurants -- don't prioritize imitating non-vegan food with so-so replacements. Instead, they seem to create dishes from first principles that happen to be vegan and delicious.

We stopped into Leaf while walking around Pearl street. The menu looked great however we noticed right away that service was incredibly slow. It took 10 minutes to get a menu. But we decided to stick it out. Please don t blame covid, there were more servers milling around than patrons.

Unfortunately the food was not every good. Several of the dishes were spicy but not denoted as such so I was unable to eat a large portion of what we ordered.

From reading other reviews it appears their regular menu is excellent. I would hesitate before going during the happy hour menu.

My favorite vegan restaurant. Very good kitchen and perfect atmosphere. Better than around the corner
