The small shop or the terrace opposite attracts you, the authentic owner loves gastronomy and the years have turned it into a canteen unlike anything you can find! Delicious restaurant where the curious might be surprised to experience a moment full of history (s)!

Fish and seafood are excellent, I am a "fan" of calamari and I feasted ... in addition, the service is fast even in the adjoining rooms. I would go back without any hesitation.

Average, only had mussels and oysters. Oysters were extremely salty. Mussels were the smallest I've eaten and not much going on in flavour department. And so mushy I had to scrape each one out with my finger. Disappointed as had heard good things. We were also kept waiting quite a while after the busy lunch service rush was over despite lots of seats being available. Coming after the busy lunch period probably explains the poor ingredients, hopefully. In which case get there early...

Fresh and well cooked products. But dear! And the service is not very nice.

The door had a box of spectacular mushrooms that entered through your eyes. We booked for a helping which turned out to be ridiculous. A tiny casserole with 4 mushrooms, they were good, but very minimal. The rest of what we ordered was fine. Fast attention.

I don t normally do reviews but this was so spectacularly bad I felt obliged to rescue some poor unsuspecting souls from hell. Amazing fish place in Bordeaux, a must-be unless you don't eat fish. Fish dishes are tasty, decent size (even the starters), and wines are great. Even my parents who are not fish fans loved it. Staff is also attentive and fast despite the place getting busy most of the time.

Great seafood, fresh simple delicious. Lovely terrace, pleasant service and a wide selection of wine. Affordable prices, nice little compliments like sourdough bread and salty butter. In other words, without any hesitation go for it!

Very very Disappointing - we had dinner here last night - I had the shelllfish - of which a large amount was unopened - my wife had the skate which was fresh but not properly cooked ... the wine was mediocre.
We were really surprised, since this restaurant was recommended by our hotel as one to the best seafood restaurants in Bordeaux. We've eaten seafood throughout the French Atlantic coast and honestly this was the worst.
Avoid

Very expensive. Average price quality ratio. A tournedos, 3 fries mushroom salad a gourmet coffee and a bottle of wine at 27 euros = total 150 euros to 3persons or 50 euros per person. The tournedos left, because they were cold. Other than that the map is varied and many fish proposed. We did not taste the fish so no opinion for that.
It looks like tourist catches passing bobos.

Always a pleasure to go to this restaurant. Wonderful fresh fish, generous portions, delicious vegetables, great bread and an interesting selection of fine wines, all in one welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The boss and the staff are very pleasant. Lunch menu 10 euros main course - (caution) evening meal much more expensive.

An excellent place to eat fresh fish. Everything is fresh: bread, butter, vegetables. A warm place. Dish of the day for lunch at 10 euros, starter 14 euros.
Be careful, the evening is much more expensive.

I would say, one of my top worst experiences at a restaurant. I don't expect a lot in service, but I do at least expect decency. Food is also quite overpriced for the lack of flavor.

The worst is the service. And the shabby food. Another couple left when the drinks were served. I do not know the reason but they left complaining about something.

Okay no more except for the bill!
They do not offer you wine with the fish and when you ask for it they do not serve it to you.

Very, very bad service, a very small table. After ordering the aperitif we are asked for our order (starter + meal) the entry served even before the end of our aperitif. The oysters (12 deputies) served without bread or vinegar, But the servant disappeared hardly deposited the entries. Nobody offered us wine ....
Good oysters But not. The main dish arrives very quickly. A sole for my wife (good But poor presentation and support. 4 fish for me. Only two were cooked (I have the photo) .... And still no wine ... We paid (102 euro) and left after showing our discontent and our Raw fish ... It is not worth a star !!!!

Nice atmosphere a bit noisy but the dishes are cold, dry, not very filling. What we wanted to take was exhausted. And very expensive. Only positive point the gourmet coffee was good.

Seafood perfection in an area perfect for seafood and wine! And the very sweet staff also were incredibly adapt at understanding our confusing English and bad French!

It's great as a place, I really do not understand these comments! Eat fish as fresh in a market place bistro atmosphere, or even Spanish tavern ... voila, that's it with its more and its (small) less ...

Overpriced, 30 euro for a sole with no side. Chocolate dessert was very good. Menu only in French, the waitresses look at you like you're meant to know every fish name in French. If it wasn't for the friendly Australian waiter I would have left. Maybe I should have.

Very good seafood, very pleasant atmosphere and setting. I returned there two days later. A year after this first visit I went back there on the evening of July 14 and was a bit cold, both by the service and the quality (but it was July 14!)

Great sea food selection which was cooked to perfection. The platters to share would be enough for at least 3 persons.

Good but limited cooked and portion not very large, a normal swimmer will come out with too little feeling .. too bad because cardre nice ..

Fresh prawns and nice sweet dish. Tasty but overpriced. Not the best service either.
